About

I'm Shannon. I have been a Fashion, Art, and Photography Model for 12 years since the age of 16. Modelling is my Career and one I love very much. I love meeting and working with creative like minded individuals.  Although I'm chronically ill/Disabled it does not stop me from being a Professional, hardworking, and dedicated Model and my 140+ references demonstrate this.

I'm based in Cookham Berkshire which has some lovely outdoor Shoot Locations. Very easy to get to London and Reading on the Elizabeth Line, Oxford by Train, and High Wycombe, Princes Risborough, and Aylesbury by Bus. 

I am 5ft 6 tall, Dress size 6, Shoe size 6 and my Stats are 32D Bust, 22 Waist, and 33 Hips. I have very thick wavy light Brown Hair, and Blue Eyes. I am naturally very slender with long limbs. I have no Tattoos and just my Ears pierced. I have a mole on the bridge of my nose and a scar on my left inner forearm which has now faded over time, sometimes these are edited out and sometimes they are left in, I personally have no preference.

Important 

Please be aware that I do have several Health issues. I have Type 1 Diabetes which I've had for 20 years. Type 1 is the Autoimmune Type of Diabetes where a fault in the Immune system causes it to wrongly attack and destroy Beta cells in the Pancreas that produce the Hormone Insulin. Once this happens the Pancreas is permanently damaged and unable to produce any Insulin at all, so I have to have 4 Insulin Injections per day, and I also have problems with my Immune System so please ask to reschedule if you have Covid or any type of bug. This is very important as despite it being well managed it is a serious condition and any illness or infection can make it harder to control and potentially cause complications.

Fibromyalgia which causes chronic debilitating widespread pain and chronic Fatigue. So I am limited to how far I can walk. I now use a walking Cane to get around from place to place and spot to spot. I do not need my Cane when posing for the actual Shots, but will need to take a break every so often, and some poses maybe difficult for me to do or hold for long. I have also been diagnosed with Osteopenia which means my Bones are more fragile than they should be.

Please do not let these issues put you off working with me as I've gotten very good at knowing my limitations and how much work I can accept each Week/Month and know how to pace myself meaning I have only occasionally had to cancel or reschedule. I will however need to take breaks due to pain levels and will sometimes need to eat and take my Insulin or treat low blood sugar. These conditions are a normal part of every day life for me so I know how to manage them, and they are no reason to refrain from making a Booking with me, but it is important to be aware of them.

I have Modelled for many Online Clothing Companies and Independent Designers and Labels such as Mint Vintage, Boodwah, Girlstole, Kissing in Traffic, Aquaphobic London Raincoats, Louise Rose Couture, Victoria Geaney Women's Wear, and Georgia Nash Couture which has Celebrity Clients such as Toyah Wilcox, Beverly Knight, and Suggs from Madness.

I had a small non speaking Role in the 2015 Movie Self Made in a scene with Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussy Cat Dolls. 

Hair Model for Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden Hair Seminar 2019. 

I have been Photographed by Famous Photographer Dave Hogan also known as "Hogie" who is famous for his work with Celebrities and Music Icons such as Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Madonna, and the Rolling Stones. We worked together on a Shoot for a Japanese Clothing Brand.

I also regularly work with many different Photographers and Artists Modelling for their Projects, Portfolios, Paintings, Websites, and Magazine Submissions. 

I have Modelled for Photography Workshops and Training Sessions.

I have been featured in Printed Magazine Publications Twisted Edge, Clary, and Moevir. 

I have 24 Starred Images on ModelFolio.

Whatever a set fee for a specific Job maybe or my own Rates.

Lingerie/Swimwear £30ph 

Tasteful Implied Topless £35ph

Plus Travel Costs If Travelling by Train or Car

(I don't drive but can occasionally get lifts with a family member)

I get free Bus Travel on most Bus Services in England as I have a Disabled Pass due to my health issues.

Train Fare for Shoots in London zones 1-6 when Travelling after 9am is £24.20

Minimum Booking time is 2 Hours 

Time for Print Projects (TFP)

I am very sorry but I don't do TFP Projects for the following reasons.

• I am not a Hobbyist Model. Modelling is my Profession and only Job
• My Health Issues severely limits how much work I can do each Week/Month without suffering burnout. So I cannot accept anything less than my own Rates.
• I very often get Photos from the Shoots I do anyway.
• My Rates are extremely reasonable given my experience and circumstances. 
• I am also unable to consider TFP work in the future as there are no current cures for any of my Health Conditions meaning my Health status won't improve. So I'd really appreciate it if you don't contact me about anything regarding TFP work. Thank you for your understanding :)

Avalibility 

I always keep my Purpleport Calendar up to Date so please check my availability.  Although this is my only Job I tend to only accept 2 Bookings per Week so that I dont suffer burnout, and I also have to fit in regular appointments at the Musculoskeletal Clinic.
