About

I'm Shannon. I have been a Fashion, Art, and Photography Model since the age of 16, having Modelled for Online Clothing Companies, Independent Labels and Designers, as well as Art and Photography Projects. Modelling is my only Job and one I love very much. I love meeting and working with like-minded creative individuals. I am professional, versatile, friendly, and down to earth, and I'm happy to work with people of all levels of experience. 

I'm based in Cookham Berkshire which has some lovely outdoor Shoot Locations and it's very easy for me to get to London and Reading on the Elizabeth Line, Oxford by Train, and High Wycombe, Princes Risborough, and Aylesbury by Bus. 

I am 5ft 6 tall, Dress size 6, Shoe size 6 and my Stats are 32D Bust, 22 Waist, and 33 Hips. I have very thick wavy light Brown Hair, and Blue Eyes. I am naturally very slender with long limbs. I have no Tattoos and just my Ears pierced. I have a mole on the bridge of my nose and a scar on my left inner forearm which has now faded over time, sometimes these are edited out and sometimes they are left in, I personally have no preference.

Important 

Please be aware I have Type 1 Diabetes which I've had for  20 years. Type 1 is the Autoimmune Type of Diabetes where a fault in the Immune system causes it to wrongly attack and destroy Beta cells in the Pancreas that produce Insulin. Once this happens the Pancreas is permanently damaged and unable to produce any Insulin, so I have to have 4 Insulin Injections per day, and I also have problems with my Immune System so please ask to reschedule if you have Covid or any type of bug.

I also have Fibromyalgia which causes chronic widespread pain and chronic Fatigue. So I am limited to how far I can walk. I now use a walking Cane to get around from place to place and spot to spot. I do not need my Cane when posing for the actual Shots, but will need to take a break every so often, and some poses maybe difficult for me to do or hold for long. I have also been diagnosed with Osteopenia which means my Bones are more fragile than they should be.

Please do not let my Health Issues put you off working with me, as I am a very dedicated hardworking Model and my references show this. I've gotten to be very good at knowing how to pace myself and manage my schedule/workload by knowing my limitations and how much I can take on each week/month, meaning I have only occasionally had to cancel or reschedule a Shoot. I will need to take breaks throughout a Shoot though due to pain levels and will sometimes need to take my Insulin or treat a low blood sugar.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions about my Conditions. My health issues really limit how much work I can take on so please understand I am unable to work on a TFP basis.

I have Modelled for many Online Clothing Companies and Independent Designers and Labels such as Mint Vintage, Boodwah, Girlstole, Kissing in Traffic, Aquaphobic London Raincoats, Louise Rose Couture, Victoria Geaney Women's Wear, and Georgia Nash Couture which has Celebrity Clients such as Toyah Wilcox, Beverly Knight, and Suggs from Madness.

I had a small non speaking Role in the 2015 Movie Self Made in a scene with Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussy Cat Dolls. 

Hair Model for Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden Hair Seminar 2019. 

I have been Photographed by Famous Photographer Dave Hogan also known as "Hogie" who is famous for his work with Celebrities and Music Icons such as Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Madonna, and the Rolling Stones. We worked together on a Shoot for a Japanese Clothing Brand.

I also regularly work with many different Photographers and Artists Modelling for their Projects, Portfolios, Paintings, Websites, and Magazine Submissions. 

I have Modelled for Photography Workshops and Training Sessions.

I have been featured in Magazine Publications Twisted Edge, Clary, and Moevir. 

I have 24 Starred Images on ModelFolio.

Levels 

My levels are Fashion, Beauty, Lingerie, Swimwear, and Implied Topless on the condition it is very Tasteful, Artistic and not overly revealing. 

Rates 

Whatever a set fee for a specific Job maybe or my own Rates. 

£25ph for Fashion/Beauty

£30ph for Lingerie/Swimwear 

£35ph for Tasteful Implied Topless 

Plus Travel Costs to cover Train, or Fuel Costs.

I get free Bus Travel on most Bus Services in England as I now have a Disabled Pass due to my health issues.

Train Fare for Shoots in London zones 1-6 when Travelling after 9am is £24.20

Minimum Booking time is 2 Hours 

* I am unable to consider Time for Print Projects (TFP)          This is because Modelling is my only Job, and my health issues severely limits the amount of work I can take on, meaning I can only work for pay, and cannot accept anything less than my own Rates which are very reasonable given my experience and circumstances. I am also usually given pictures from the Shoots I do anyway. My health issues are permanent meaning it is extremely unlikely I will be able to consider TFP in the future. So any requests for TFP work will be declined or ignored, please don't be offended by this as I'm not doing it to be rude to anyone. 

Avalibility 

I always keep my Purpleport Calendar up to Date so please check my availability.  Although this is my only Job I tend to only accept 2 Bookings per week due to my health, but can occasionally accept 3 in the warmer months if each booking is not too long and not too far for me to travel. I tend to accept slighlty less work in Autumn/Winter months and may not feel up to travelling quite so far as my pain and fatigue are worse at this time of the year.  I prefer to work on Weekdays whenever possible. https://purpleport.com/portfolio/shanny17/calendar/

Please leave your Contact Number when making a Booking.

If you make a Booking with me and have to reschedule due to unavoidable circumstances such as Weather or Illness, I will happily reschedule for the next available Date convenient for all parties. However this is my Job and Income and my Health limits how much I can take on and requires me to pace myself and plan Bookings around Appointments so I can't afford to be messed around. So please be considerate.
