Recovery position

This was our amazing adventure buddy Tsavo at the top of Ben Nevis, only a month after acute pancreatitis had reduced his potassium levels to zero. His vets were astounded that his heart was still beating and immediately administered a drip spiked with potassium to restore his levels. Antibiotics and steroids were administered in the other side to help his pancreas recover and it took a week before he was strong enough to walk steadily. Three weeks later, we climbed Ben Nevis together to celebrate his miraculous recovery. You can see he still has the bald patches on his front legs from the cannulas.
