References for Colin Hurst

Colin invited me to have a go at a lock down project with him .

As my husband is the one taking the images it was a great way to get out and try something new.

Colin would be the inspiration and the editing master for the images we sent across.

We spent the afternoon doing different scenes and send them over to Colin.

Can't say how happy we are with the results love them all.

Colin was full of encouragement and ideas more of which we will do in the near future.

His communication was easy to follow he really knows he's stuff.

We are looking forward to doing the next set and totally recommend anyone to work with Colin.

During this crazy time Collin responded to my casting about remote shooting.

What worked best for his plans and ideas was for me to take some RAW images and then send them over for him to edit instead of live remote shooting

We discussed ideas over pp and over the phone and had some imagery to base the ideas upon so I knew what I needed to shoot and how.

I went away set up the scene and shot various RAW images via my DSLR and tripod to the brief.

It was a fun creative process creating the images and a different experience during these current times!

Maybe when this is all Over we will get to shoot in person.

A shoot with a difference this time - we were both "roped in" to provide assistance for Colin and his model and we both really enjoyed it!

A pleasure as always, Colin is such a gentleman and works exceptionally well with his models. Being able to help out with BTS and costume preparation was an added bonus for both of us.

Always great to host Colin. Back this time with Bevvy for their second shoot at Two Wei but it had been planned for months. Delightful experience as ever on our part and we look forward to seeing him again soon.

Colin arrived on time and was well prepared for our shoot. We had arranged a relatively last minute shoot at my home with a basic idea of what we wanted to achieve. Colin travelled out of his way to the shoot and was a lovely gentleman during the entire time. He was very professional and the time flew by.

Colin has an eye for detail and made sure the images were perfectly framed each time. Back of the camera shots were brilliant and I cant wait to see the final edits.

Colin visited us last week for a recce and followed this up with a shoot today. His comms have been brilliant throughout - very professional! We were very happy to leave him and his model, Bevvy, to their own devices to work their magic with our venue - and wow, from what we've seen so far, the results look excellent!

I had my first shoot with Colin yesterday and it was very enjoyable. We went into the woods around Clumber Park, which is an amazing location and somewhere that I've never been before.

Colin was very patient (I spoke complete nonsense at him for two hours, which didn't put him off) and gave good guidance with poses. He was also talkative about what he was doing, which was nice as I don't know the technical side of photography. He brought props and a couple of changes of clothes, which really enhanced the sets.

I would definitely recommend Colin!

Had another shoot today with Colin this time amongst the bluebells , great shoot all be it very cold , we managed to get some great images as always , we work well together and always plan another shoot , he is a real nice chap who knows how to get that shot he wants to get the results , a short shoot due to cold but still as enjoyable always .
