References for Pauls-Studio

I had my first studio shoot at Paul's today in nearly ten years and Paul is very helpful. Paul makes you feel welcome, gives you a tour of is studio and helps you set up, if you need it. The studio is well equipped, with back drops and props. I would highly recommend.

Had another fantastic day from Paul's on July the 25th .

As always everything was well organised and Paul was there to assist with everything we needed.

Another great shoot at Pauls, this time from a photographer who came all the way from Japan for our shoot! Paul is always on hand to help, extremely accommodating and his communication is excellent both before and during the shoot.

Had a really good time at the studio again and hope to be back soon!

Had yet another great time working from Pauls studio in Reading!

In summary:

-very well organised I and tidy space

-fully equipped

-professional photography assistance at anytime you need it.

-a safe and fun environment for models to work from

Pauls studios has everything a photographer needs :)

Also was lucky to shoot with Paul who’s an absolute joy to work with ! Very professional and fun to work with :)

Once again very highly recommended and will happily return back at anytime:)

Another studio day successfully smashed and I will definitely be shooting there again.

There is a changing area for the model with a curtain for privacy if needed, the studio and changing area are warm and the temperature can be altered in the studio, unlimited cups of tea/coffee (which is well needed on a studio day), loads of different backdrops and props, the studio is easy to find and there's parking directly outside. What's not to love!!!

Absolutely 110% recommended to all :D xX

So happy to return back at Pauls Studio after 3 years !

Paul is one of the most well organized and professional studio owners/photographers I know and will work very hard to fill every single slot at your studio day:D

Both days where packed and full of fun !

The studio is spacious, equipped with high quality lighting and has tons of backdrops and also clothing props !

Paul is an amazing host and he is always there for everything you need from cups of coffee to help with change of backdrops or lighting/photography advice when needed !

Can’t wait to return back !

Just another Photographer

I'm new into studio photography and today I had my second lesson with Paul on the use of studio lighting, working with models and setting up my camera to work with the studio lighting etc - Paul is an absolute gentleman, is extremely patient and knowledgeable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my course and managed to take some great photos

Thank you Paul for going over and beyond and look forward to the next course and will be booking my first model studio shoot in the next couple of weeks

I recommend a course to anyone that is new to studio photography or that wants to gain some extra knowlegde

Organising the shoot with you was straight forward, no messing.

I arrive to a BEAUTIFULLY WARM studio with a changing area for the model and endless cups of tea.

You're friendly, professional, easygoing, great with lighting and your cups of tea aren't too bad either.

Had another studio event at Paul's this month. This time 3 days Haha!

Paul is the super host !and I was very well looked after by him and his lovely wife.

Pauls manor weekend was a success and everyone enjoyed their shoots, I met some nice photographers, and it was great to see familiar faces as well! The location is beautiful and so versatile, the event comes highly recommended!

I had my second shoot at Pauls Studio and once again, I came away with some stunning images.

Paul is always on hand to offer help and advice as and when required. The studio has a superb range of lighting options and props for last minute ideas and developing the theme of the shoot.

A very versatile studio and a very helpful owner. Highly recommended.

Since I returned to this hobby I have enjoyed working at Paul's Studio a dozen times so its probably about time I updated my reference.

Whether a beginner taking instruction / advice, or attending one of Paul's model days, even taking your own model for a shoot there, its a great place to be.

Everything you could want for in a studio shoot is there, everything works seamlessly, it is warm in the winter and cool in the Summer with a large selection of backgrounds, props, all the lights you could ever need, even two racks of gear for the models should you need it.

Most important of all is the friendly way Paul can fit into , or butt-out , of your shoot - depending on whether you need him on hand to assist / teach / change a set-up / or mentor.

Pauls is far from my "local" studio, but I keep going back there because it is all so friendly and easy to get set up.

You can go to work without wasting time, thus you can concentrate on getting the best out of your visit (and the excellent models that also enjoy working there)

Highly recommended.

I've known Paul a good few years now and used to frequent his studio because I always knew it'd be a great shoot. The way he runs his studio events is second to none, the place is always clean, tidy and warm and offers enough space and privacy as well as all the kit a photographer could need to get great shots.

After a couple of years break, I recently revisited Paul's for a weekend of shooting and really loved it - always felt safe, Paul is good company and easy to chat to, myself and the photographers were all well stocked with tea and coffee, and Paul and his wife were kind enough to have me stay overnight, made sure I was comfortable and even removed a spider from my room. :D

I used Paul's studio for a short shoot. The directions were good and the studio is easy to find. The studio is well set up and has plenty of flash equipment and backgrounds (what more could a photographer want). Paul was a great help with setting up specific lighting. Highly recommended

Paul booked me for September's Wales weekend event, I have modelled on the wales events on quite a few occasions now and always have a brilliant time.

Paul is always very organise, well prepared and professional. Paul looked after all the models very well and I also had a shoot with Paul over that weekend which was great and we got some super lovely images.

I am looking forward to the Manor house shoot coming up the end of this month and hopefully more shoots with Paul.

Awww what can I say about de ole Pauline... (just kidding) ..

Paul and i kick started a great collaboration last year after attending one of his studio events . I knew straight away wed get on great and hes such a nice guy ..he kindly chose me as one of his models to attend the Wales weeknd also and it was soo much fun.

The weather was a disaster but the mansion was stunning and there was endless places to shoot from even with bad weather. All the models were lovely and the photographers were very respectful and lots of fun. Very well organised by Paul and everything went well.

I'd deffo reccomend it and would attend again 😊looking forward to working again closely with Paul for yet another studio weekend!

Another good Wales Weekend run by Paul, he has a knack of knowing what needs to be organised and where he can just let the models/photographers do their own thing!

Definitely planning to do further weekends.
