I had the pleasure of working with Jim for the first time yesterday and I hope it won't be the last! He contacted me after receiving some pieces on loan from a designer, and as luck would have it I was in his neck of the woods on a convenient date. Pre-comms were excellent and I arrived to find a huge pile of snacks and drinks had been laid out for me in Jim's lovely home. 4 hours absolutely flew by while we worked through a variety of sets, backdrops and lighting, and the images I've seen so far look gorgeous. I'd happily recommend Jim to any model and hope we can shoot again in the future.

Had my second shoot with Jim this week after a three year hiatus! Jim is just as lovely as our first shoot, very professional, engaging and responsive. His communication is, as always, perfect. We had a mood board to work with and both studio and on location to shoot around, so plenty of opportunity for different looks that we wanted to trial. It was a lovely shoot, and I can't wait to see more of the final shots - they look spectacular! I wholeheartedly recommend Jim to all :)

So grateful that I was able to schedule another shoot with Jim during my visit to the UK this year!

Last year he took some of my favourite shots of the tour, so was pleased when he asked to book another as soon as my trip was announced.

Jim is always fantastic with communication, and is flexible with scheduling which makes a travelling models life so much easier!

He has lots of great and creative ideas and inspiration. His many props and laid back attitude really allows you to play around and to create some fantastic images.

Someone I look forward to working with, and would 100% recommend!!

I saw OriginalSin’s Purple Port account and completely fell in love with his style and creativity. I added him on Instagram and started imploring him to shoot with me.

After months, it did happen.

When I got to his home studio, a private bathroom was all ready for me to use as a changing room, with water, a chair, and hand towels.

His wardrobe and piece collections were breathtaking. Just imagine a room full of clothes, necklaces, hats, accessories.

We took photos, talked, had lunch together. It was all extremely nice, which isn't always the case with male photographers.

I had to go to work straight after the shoot and he was understanding and caring, and he made sure I didn't miss my train.

He is, to be honest, a true legend. I am very lucky to have met him.

Absolutely recommend him!

Big Shot Studio

Great to see Jim back at the studio after such a long time, it was his first shoot since lockdown and what a shoot! The day was certainly full of drama and intrigue but the shoot came together after a shaky start and resulted in Jim taking some fantastic images.

Jim is a fantastic photographer, always professional and respectful and some of his fine art work is the best I have seen. I wholeheartedly recommend Jim as a photographer and if you want to create some really beautiful works of art then that will certainly happen if you shoot with Jim. Great first shoot back Jim and nice to see you again.

What a fantastic shoot I had with Jim! We'd been following each others work online for a while and it was great to finally work together! We shot at his place as he has some beautiful canvas backdrops and put some hessian down for the floor. It seems I got carried away and took my entire wardrobe with me and accessories! But Jim has an incredible collection of headpieces and accessories already.

When I arrived Jim made a cuppa and we looked through some mood boards. He was very relaxed and easy to get on with. We looked through outfits togethers and picked out some looks. It felt like a good collaborative effort with putting looks together.

And as everyone's mentioned... He bought some doughnuts for us as well and by chance my fave biscoff one! Always a winner!

Highly recommend Jim for a great shoot and fantastic photos.

First time I've shot with Jim and what can I say!

He's meticulously organised; creating a moodboard in advance, purchasing lovely flowers and has a range of fabulous props, dresses and headdresses. His pre-shoot communication was exceptional.

He is also a fantastic host - providing amazing doughnuts that we even used as a prop! :) As well as a host of various yummy snacks and the perfect cup of tea.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jim to all, he is welcoming, friendly, professional and a lovely person. I hope to work with him again in the future!

Working with Jim is always a pleasure :-D Amazing accessories and designer pieces galore!! This time he had a stunning purple corset on loan which was utterly beautiful to wear.

We also experimented with creative lighting effects with a gobo which was really different and enjoyable. As well as shooting stunning portrait, fashion and lingerie images!

Jim's editing skills are fantastic, so he can also take the shots to the next level! And now it's a tradition that he gets doughnuts on every shoot!! :-P

I can absolutely recommend him! :-D

Ivory Flame

Another brilliant shoot with Jim, this time at his home trying out some gorgeous new textured backdrops he had acquired.

He supplied an inspiring moodboard which helped me know what kind of outfits to bring. He also got beautiful flowers, and seasonal props to add to the feel of the images.

All the headdresses, halos and accessories Jim owns are a dress-up dream!! I had an amazing time combining our styling and ideas to make some stunning images together.

Jim is professional, considerate and kind, he also provided snacks, drinks, biscuits and delicious doughnuts, so I also went home with extra treats! What's not to love! :-D Thank you Jim!

What can i say that hasn’t already be said? comms were excellent, payment swift, the house was tidier when they left than when they arrived! an absolute pleasure to have in my studio. please come back soon! x

Always a pleasure having Jim in the studio. He attended recently to shoot with the fabulous Chloe and as usual he managed to pull some amazing shots out of the bag. Jim is a genuinely lovely guy, always professional and respectful, not to mention a damn good photographer, with a natural creative flair. If you are a model looking for a good quality photographer who will give you something original for your portfolio then I can most certainly recommend Jim at Original Sin.

Great shoot with Jim as always! He found an amazing studio for myself and another model to shoot at and was also kind enough to show me how to use some lights and get my own photos of the second model! Always just a pleasure to work with, easy to spend hours shooting with and I get photos within a few days which I love. Will always recommend working with him if you can!

Had an amazing shoot with Jim, he has some serious skill with lighting and bringing the best out of the colour palette in his images, I have some of my favourite images I’ve ever taken from our shoot and I really hope we work together again. Jim attended the studio again last week to shoot with Ella Rose and Ivory Flame, it is always great to have Jim in the studio, he has a great passion for creating beautiful images and really takes great care in the final images he produces, the results speak for themselves, his port has some amazing work in it. He also has a stunning collection of amazing headpieces and accessories which really contribute to his great style of work.

Jim is a genuinely nice guy who is respectful, easy going and trustworthy, I am totally comfortable with Jim having access to our studio keys and he is someone who I would highly recommend to others.

Fantastic time again with Jim who booked on to a themed duo day with myself and the lovely Ella Rose. He is just so friendly, fun and easy to work with, taking fabulous images in a range of sets we all created together.

His prop bag really is a treasure chest to behold, full of the most wondrous headpieces, halos and horns! ...which were brilliant for adding to our narrative. A super shoot with an awesome photographer, cheers so much Jim!!

Jim booked a session with Ivory Flame and I during out 'pre-Raphaelite goddesses' days at Big Shot Studio and I'm really glad he did as it was really fun to delve into his collection of incredibly props/headdresses as well as him being friendly, communicative and very easy to work with. A creative person's dream! We had lots of fun playing with combinations of intricate, stunning looks made possible with the headdresses and Jim's photographic talent. I felt this was a great introduction to shooting together and would be very pleased to do so again in future.

Brilliant shoot yesterday with Jim during my model day at Big Shot Studio!!

He brought insanely gorgeous props and accessories which complimented my outfits so fantastically!

Jim is absolutely lovely, easy going, friendly and professional, I had such an enjoyable time working with him and all the shots were just POW!! - Amazing and so magical!!!
