This is a small but superbly well equipped, conveniently located studio that is a pleasure to visit . The owner Evie Smith is always welcoming and extremely helpful in all respects. For my work this is the "Go To" location , that probably explains my 5th visit !

Had a shoot at Onyx studio owned which was just fab, there’s plenty of room in the studio to capture amazing pictures with a great set of lights. Evie the owner is so lovely and will cater to any of your needs.

Would highly recommend hiring the studio for shoots. Absolute pleasure and can’t wait to shoot there again soon

Evie was very friendly and welcoming and made an amazing cup of tea with biscuits on the side!!

The studio is lovely with so many fabulous props I was able to use to assist with my shoot and the changing area was a good size.

Highly recommend her studio and was lovely to meet you! x

I worked at Evie's studio yesterday with MartinJ.

Evie was wonderful, he came to me at the reception to walk me to the studio and she helped me with my bags, made me a cup of coffee and let me pick music through the Alexa.

Evie has a lovely studio, one thing I found really great was her posing boxes, she ordered the best kind to ensure models comfort with curved edges making it far easier to pose.

I highly recommend her studio!

I was invited for a couple shoot at Onyx studio. Upon arrival I was surprised to discover how warm it was in there especially to say the outside temperature was -4 and coupled with that its situated in a big industrial unit.

Ample parking is available which is always a bonus plus a café on site that makes the most amazing mocha! freshly made food too.

Although I wasnt working directly with Evie, she was there throughout on hand either tweaking lighting or offering input on posing and nothing was too much trouble.

Although we didnt use them the studio has many backdrops available, a spacious changing room, plentiful lighting and hot drinks readily available.

Would I recommend Onxy? totally!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Evie and working at her studio whilst shooting with another photographer. Evie was most welcoming and made sure we were all topped up with tea and biscuits.

The studio was a great space to work in with lots of versatility; another bonus was the ample onsite free parking and cafe.

I’d happily recommend Onyx Photo Studio and hope to visit again soon! :)

Capture to keep

Onyx photo studios was above and beyond what I expected from a studio. It was clean, tidy and very well kitted out, with all the set ups I required. The facilities were fantastic, and it had an added bonus of a changing room, where models had the privacy to change and store their personal belongings.

Evie was very professional and she went above and beyond to accommodated me to get the images I wanted for my portfolio. Thanks again for this.

I’d definitely recommend using this studio, and will be returning.

I worked on an art nude shoot here with Evie Smith today and can heartily recommend it as a space to work in. Aside from having a variety of backdrops and props it's a really good sized space with all the amenities you would expect and more. Models get some private space to change in and there's a washroom just outside. Parking is easy and the site is very easy to access just outside Newport Pagnell/ MK. Recommended.

What a superb place to shoot!! Evie is welcoming and friendly, she is there to assist if required otherwise she disappears and pops back occasionally to see if you’re alright.

Coffee and tea on hand with great lights and backdrops to use.

Denise Valentine and I achieved some lovely images and I will certainly be visiting Onyx and Evie again.

The studio is based inside a sectioned warehouse with multiple businesses, there is a huge car park and superb amenities available.

Highly recommend using this studio at some point

What a delightful studio. The owner evie greeted me. As I got a lil lost today. Really nice space. With my favourite lighting in it. Which is a beauty dish. Loved the dressing room. Compact but had a selection of props to use from. Evie makes a me an cuppa to. I'm thinking of renting the space myself as a photographer next time only 8 mins down the road. And lots to work with. Also Alexa was a big bonus. Playing dj today. Thank you for being so hospitable. I recommend 100%

I had my first shoot at Onyx studio yesterday. There's a large car park & the studio itself is a unit in a multi purpose building - you have to sign in and out at the main reception.

Evie is very friendly & welcoming and took the time to explain where everything was and how it worked. The lights are very good and although they look complicated are quite simple to use. There's as much tea and coffee as you could want.

I hope to work there again soon.

I recently had two shoots at Onyx studios and I was very impressed by the facilities and by Evie herself.

Each day Evie kindly helped us set up and made us feel more than welcome. The studio is stocked well with plenty of tea and coffee, hair straighteners and accessories to borrow- every model's dream! It really helped me out to be able to use such facilities and prepared me well for the shoot.

I Would highly recommend this fantastic space, complete with plenty of props and a lovely dressing room.

Will certainly be returning!

I completed my second shoot at the Onyx Studio yesterday ………. it won't be my last

The studio offers all the facilities and props that I could ever think of, it is large enough to be able to shoot a full length figure with arms raised using a prime 80mm lens

In my opinion the hire rates offered represent exceptionally good value

I booked Onyx studio after finding them on PP and consider it to be a very fortunate find - the studio is on the ground floor within a modern multi purpose building, it is equipped with an excellent selection of high quality lighting and props that are included in the hire cost - Evie the owner was courteous and very helpful - would I book again ? I booked Onyx Photo Studio at fairly short notice and I am delighted to have discovered the place. This is a great studio with loads of high quality lighting equipment and a good selection of backgrounds, props and accessories.

The owner, Evie, is very friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving me to get on with the shoot. Communications were also excellent. Highly recommended.
