I am currently featuring a variety of work, some of the images are from an era that predates PP

I have now officially retired and become a pensioner. To indulge my photographic interests, I am trying to work with a small selection of models who share similar ideas. For many years, whilst I was working as a sales manager & commercial agent in the lingerie, hosiery and swimwear industries the focus of my images was necessarily towards the garments rather than to the model. However, since retirement I am changing the emphasis of my photography to increase my focus towards the model and to try to introduce a greater variety of moods and expressions.

My one "not recommended" reference illustrates the importance of good pre-shoot coms. In this instance the communications from the model were less than precise which led to an unnecessary misunderstanding regarding her fees. The model had previously advertised her fees on a PP casting and subsequently confirmed them in writing, but whilst at the meeting she advised that she charged a higher hourly rate as I was involved in commercial work. The consequence of this misunderstanding was that no photographs were taken. As the model had changed her terms without notice and didn't fulfil the pre-agreed function of the meeting, I felt full justification in declining to pay fees.  - Is the "Not Recommended" an appropriate response?
