I attended a workshop ran by Richard in which I got some great shots. The studio is well equipped and has plenty of parking. Richard was a great mentor and full of ideas. I recommend this studio but only wish there was some signs from the car park!

Today I had the pleasure to work with Richard. He was on time, and prepared to shoot. There was 4 other photographers and the environment was friendly. We all had a good time and came up with different creative ideas. It was a good shoot and I recommend him! :)

Had a great shoot at the studio yesterday! Had so much fun and got a lot done in a short space of time! I loved working with each and every photographer they were so talented and let me do what I was comfortable doing and also had some great input to get images they wanted as well as me! I would recommend participating in there events if you ever had a chance you wouldn't regret it!

I have had 3 great group shoots at the Old Bakery Photographic Studio organised by Alex and Richard. A very friendly and welcoming environment.

It is a nice large studio and an ideal setting if you are looking for a studio to shoot at.

Highly recommeded.

I have worked at the old bakery studios before but at their previous premises, I have to say the new studio is a massive improvement and was very happy to be booked by a photographer I have worked with before for a soft bondage shoot. There is a cosy little changing/office room with heating and an ever improving studio area. If you book this space you won't be disappointed, I received some fabulous images from the photographer (who sadly isn't on purpleport)

I had applied to model at Old Bakery Photographic Studio after one of their model had cancelled. This was my first ever burlesque style shoot and my second photoshoot in years (8 to be exact). There were also 7 photographers present, 6 of which were male, so naturally I was nervous, but I was reassured that I wouldn't be made to do anything I was uncomfortable with. I brought a variety of costumes as I was told beforehand that there would be 2 costume changes. I was happy for the photographers to pick, but they knew the importance of having a model who is comfortable,so I picked my two favourite outfits. I was given a cup of tea whilst I settled into the group. The shoot was so much fun, with each photographer bringing out another side to me. Within half an hour I was out of my comfort zone by choice,completely embracing the moment. The praise and encouragement is something that I crave and brought me out of my shell and as a result I was presented with plenty of amazing photos. I surprised myself at how confident I had become and found the whole experience very empowering. The studio also has some great props. I loved the lace Umbrella and black veil which complimented my mesh skirt perfectly and added a quirky edge. Great teamwork with every one sharing ideas and encouraging each other. Very much looking forward to returning in the near future!

As a model based in Bournemouth, I've just discovered this place a couple of days ago, for a last minute shooting with a group of photographers, not far from me and I absolutely love it.

A well planned space, excellent equipment and I felt really comfortable from the beginning.

Highly recommend whatever is your idea for the shop you're planning, at the Old Bakery Studio I believe everything is possible 😉 Can wait to visit this place again hopefully for another set!

The studio is a great facility, really clean, tidy and well presented with good supporting facilities. The big plus to this studio is SPACE - high roof plus a large power controlled door that opens up from outside directly to the studio area if required to get large stuff in or use day light.

It is fitted with the latest fixed and portable strobes and has all the modifiers, reflectors, stands and camera-specific triggers you could wish for. It was fun playing with the remote controlled ac/battery Pixelpro strobes - a real plus not having leads to trip over if you use battery mode.

Finally Richard was my host - very knowledgeable, friendly, good fun and with a great 'can do' attitude.

Highly recommended.

I attended a Film Noir studio evening at The Old Bakery. Richard the owner and organiser of the event was very attentive to everybody's needs and helpful with instructions when needed. The studio is a fabulous facility to have locally with more than enough room to photograph big objects like motorbikes etc.,

It was an enjoyable evening and I would recommend the studio group evenings to anybody wishing to learn about lighting or to book hourly if you need a great space to work in.

I have been in the old bakery studio and its a truly amazing place running by fantastic people. They are very friendly and easy-going. They have a lot of props and accessories for the shoots. Highly recommended and I hope I can work there on the future.

Old Bakery Studio has been my introduction to Photography. Rich has taken me through the Beginners Course and I'm currently in the Intermediate Group.

A fantastic shooting space, whether you're after a black or white backdrop, fully equipped with lights.

The Studio runs classes for all levels and shoots for lots of different styles, from macro to models, specific lighting set-ups or location shoots.

You're always sure of a warm welcome and you'll be looked after, whether you're a 'tog or a model.

There are tea and coffee facilities, toilets, a changing room and a classroom.

Run by very nice people,friendly atmosphere. I have shot a few times at The Old Bakery. I have such a lovely time shooting there, they even offered me Cake! Oh yes!. So spacious & highly recommend. I will certainly return

I regularly have shoots at the old bakery studios And highly recommend them. The studio is large and well equipped

The workshops are a lot of fun and the owners Richard and tim always make me feel relaxed and the time just flies by!

Definetly recommend this studio to all photographers and models so come try it out!

Parkstone Photography

Awesome studio space to go to and a good bunch of people who are going to classes there too. They cater for people from every level, from entry, to pro. I have been to a lot of their events before and will continue going in the future. I highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting to do group classes studying many different genres or to book the studio out for private shoots.
