Welcome to The Old Bakery Photographic Studio!

The Old Bakery Photographic Studio is a great studio working space with fantastic prices and modern equipment, allowing all photographers to have a professional space to work in without the financial outlay of purchasing the equipment themselves.  We have been established in our current location since 2018.  Come along and see for yourself!

The Old Bakery Photographic Studio is an 8m by 6m studio space. With an electrically operated roller door that opens up to allow larger items such as vehicles inside for anyone wanting larger props in their shoots. We also have a 6m wide Infinity Wall.  We have a private dressing room complete with hair straighteners, mirror, iron and useful objects for models such as makeup wipes, hairspray, hair accessories and a large mirror. The Old Bakery has free WiFi and free tea and coffee facilities.

As well as the large studio space we provide the following all free of charge and included in the hire. 6 x 600 watt bowens fit studio lights (Godox mains and battery) 2 x 1000 watt Bowens lights (fixed above the infinity curve for super High-Key lighting), a number of different backdrops, 2 studio strip light boxes, 2 square soft boxes, 2 Octaboxes and other modifiers include light reflectors, spots, barndoors, a beauty dish, gobos and a full size product table.

UV light, smoke machine, dry ice machine and snow machine  are available for use, if pre-booked (to ensure we have all necessary fluids). The studio also has a selection of costumes from size 8-16 as well as shoes, props, material and lots more available to use but must be discussed prior your booking.

HIRE RATES 

Our studio hire has a bargain price of £25 per hour (with a minimum of 2 hours) with an all day (9am to 5pm) price of £125. Additional hours may be added at the hourly rate for longer shoots.  All equipment is included in the hire and our studio comes highly recommended by many photographers and videographers

THEMED GROUP SHOOT EVENTS 

Most of our Group Shoots take place on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-10pm. Occasionally we may run events either during the day or evening on Saturdays. A comprehensive list of events is available on our Facebook and on our website

STUDIO DAYS

We have started running Studio Days on one Saturday a month.  This enables us to host models from further afield, that wouldn't normally travel down for a single 2 hour shoot.  We offer four 2 hour slots, during which you will shoot one-to-one with the model.  We will help with your initial light setup, backdrops, etc and then sit in the office, allowing you to shoot without us in the room.
