I finally got to meet and work with Allan in person on a recent abroad trip! Allan & I had worked together so many times previously remotely,it was lovely to finally meet!

Allan was just as prepared and organised as when he prepares for his remotes, he had ideas to make his images unique even before we had arrived at the location.

Allan was such fun and had a great energy to work with! The images that I saw from the back of the camera were beautiful,I cannot wait to see the finished results! I definitely hope to shoot with him again in person & I would absolutely recommend models to shoot with him remotely and on location.

I had shoot with Allan last Friday in Spain and first of all I want to say a massive thanks to Allan to take a good care of me during the shoot. We weren't lucky with the rainy weather but we managed to do a brilliant photos anyways. Allan working in a high level of professionalism, chatty and just a nice person to talk to, he also make sure I feel very safe and help me on my way back to find my buss station ( as I was new in the town and have been there for the first time ) I definitely recommend to work with Allan to all models, sadly we haven't finished our full shoot because of the weather but I'm really looking forward to shoot again it's was great start! Allan joined me and 3 other models in Alicante on a photography trip and made the trip interesting with his witt! He is very insightful and vocal which is a positive trait as you know he is being sincere, he is not shy to let you know his true opinion. Allans personality is nonsense but all laughs, what I mean is, he isn't here for the drama and wont beat around the bush but cuts straight through the middle man which when in a pickle is great to be decisive and doesn't tolerate any rubbish! Which is good to know you can count on him when it matters really!

His jokes can be on the nose at times so have thick skin because he means well, he just wants a laugh it's all in gest and when you spend a week with someone it is challenging with so many personalities it can clash and can be heated with lots of people's emotions and despite some differences Allan met people in the middle and was able to work things out as the photographer were working in pairs and had to find a groove in which to work ,which each person had a different idea on how they should be. However, overall the trip overall was memorable and it gave good insight to see how each person acts in different situations as you can work with a photographer 1:1 for a day booking and not click with them which is why I menthon about Allans jokes being on the nose as I can see how on an initial shoot may come across in the wrong way but after spending a few days with other people and socializing I can say he was a good mix.

Allan really helped out around the villa and took it upon himself take on that role,including climbing up outside of the building up the pole like a monkey when the door accidently locked itself to let everyone back in the villa - definitely aved the day with his quick thinking! He engaged with each person on the trip and was authentic which is all you can ask for really. His style is I would say is predominantly glamour, though we did shoot some art nude on the beach which I felt comfortable shooting as that is my highest level.

I have already spoken since with Allan about organizing another shoot later this year, it was lovely to meet Allan on the trip he brought a different element to the group, he is the one that isn't afraid to get stuck in for the shot!

Allan was the first photographer of the group to arrive, he bought a great energy and friendly personality to the group. A real character that I spent lot's of time chatting to during the week.

Despite it being a group event Allan was sure to keep his photography style incorporated into each set making his images & sets all unique.

Had another lovely shoot with Allan this month. Allan pitched another creative idea that I was very excited to try and with the help from my mum,we put it all together!

Allan is always a pleasure to shoot with and we usually end up chatting for a large part of the shoot! This is always beneficial though as everyone is relaxed and clear about the idea.

The images I’ve seen so far are absolutely lovely! Just what I envisioned! I look forward to shooting with Allan in person shoot and would definitely recommend a remote shoot with him!

Allan is a pleasure to work with albeit remotely! He took part in a remote duo day with myself and Jemma and from beginning to end his pre shoot communications were well thought out, properly planned and then well executed. He explained what he was hoping to capture ahead of time, resulting in making use of our time much more efficiently. During the shoot itself, he was polite and professional and conversation easily flowed between the three of us.

Allan is a very skilled and accomplished photographer and I think being able to shoot remotely really shows this, he was able to adjust the settings as and when needed and was confident with what he was doing throughout, which resulted in some stunning back of laptop images - I can't wait to see the final images!

I worked with Allan again, but this time it was a remote shoot and it was a duo shoot. Allan was on time, and eager to shoot. He knew what he wanted to shoot and guided us to ensure he got the outcome he hoped for. Allan was respectful throughout and from what I saw; got some fabulous images! Can’t wait to see them. Had the pleasure of meeting Allan and working with him for a week in Portugal on a Photography Holiday trip organised by Martin Newton.

What a week it was, Allans work speaks for itself, He knows what he wants, he allows me to model freely and has great input too :)

Allan is friendly, easy to get along with, felt comfortable with him on every shoot.

Photography Holidays

Allan got in touch with me regarding the 2022 Algarve trip via a model. He became interested in attending and it was a please to start getting to know him. Though he'd not been on anything like this before he had many questions to ask, which was no bother at all. Allan booked on the trip not knowing how things go but he fell into place perfectly. Getting to know him leading up to the trip was a pleasure and was even better once we met. Allan is a top bloke and was respectful at all times to both models and photographers. He had some great ideas for images and put every effort into creating stunning images with all the models. I'm sure he came back with a lot of images and I'm looking forward to seeing them posted up. Hes a top guy and I recommend all to work with him, He's always welcome along on the trip and it would be a please to have him come back.

I worked with Alan on a trip away in Portugal and we shot several times in different locations including a 1-1 shoot at the end which topped off the week!

Alan is a friendly guy and he got on well with myself and the group & was very professional. He has a clear vision for what he wanted to achieve & knows how to get those creative shots by having some ideas of his own too.

Look forward to discussing coming up to Scotland sometime to work with him again! Images are great and enjoyed working together. Recommended :)

I had another wonderful shoot with Allan! We have worked together four times now (I think?!) and each shoot has been so varied and fun to be a part of. I have fallen behind with references for this lovely human, but of course it is always a good experience which is why we have shot together numerous times.

Allan has great pre shoot communication, clearly stating ideas and expectations of the shoot, and always sticking to agreed levels. We have shot a variety of themes and levels over our shoots, from a halloween theme in the woods - being Sabrina from the TV show and a creepy bunny. We have shot some higher levels in a hotel room whilst being in Edinburgh at the same time as eachother, where Allan was fully respectful and made me feel at ease working to nude and some fetish. We have also done a summer theme with swimwear/some topless levels which all went very well.

Allan focuses on his lighting and spends time to perfect it wether indoors or outdoors, the background is always thought of, composition is also and he always shows images as we go along so we can both improve on the image together - which is great as a model to know the final image will be one you are proud of too.

We always have a great laugh along with him remaining a professional in his appraoch to shooting. One thing I love about Allan, is that I can always recognise his work on a social media scroll due to his way with angles, framing and lighting. He has his own style and keeps glamour style images looking very classy.

Everything from communication to execution is always both professional and fun with Allan. I enjoy getting to work together and have a good "geek out" with a fellow nerd on all the TV shows and movies we both enjoy! Anyone who can talk to me about Doctor Who is a winner in my book haha!

Thanks for all the shoots we habe done together Allan. I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. Until next time ☺️

Had a wonderful first shoot with Allan remotely! And loved every minute of it!!

Such an easy going photographer, very enjoyable to work with and he remained professional and respectful throughout.

It’s a lot harder to keep the flow going on a remote shoot yet Allan had no issues with this. Full of fabulous creative ideas but also more than happy for you to throw in your own ideas and work together to achieve the perfect shot!

Pre-communicstions we're also spot on. Ideas, wardrobe, styling was all boxed off and booked in within a handful of messages!

Highly recommended to any level of model! The results are already turning out fab! And I absolutely cannot wait to work with him again very soon!
