I had a great shoot here with a photographer, we used a lamp a chest as a prop, there was a good veriety of chairs.

Really nice black back drop and good lighting.

I’ve did a couple of shoots at my pad studios and have to say it feels like a home away from home Jon is a very sweet person very respectful and always makes you feel at home my recent studio day was fab photographers were great and above all else we had a great time creating with each other there’s space for natural light and a wide range of props and backdrops to get creative with my favourite studio so far jax

I have shot at MyPad Studio quite a few times now during my Scotland tours.

The studio is spacious, has a nice size dressing room, and has a good selection of backdrops. The studio has many opportunities.

The owner is always welcoming, professional and helpful.

I highly recommend this studio :)

I had my first photoshoot experience at my pad STUDIO HIRE when I conducted an actress headshot portrait session in July 2022. The studio has an excellent layout with an extensive range of technical equipment and furniture that can be used for photoshoots. Although I was new to the studio, the team made me feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. I would definitely use the studio again for future photoshoots and would highly recommend it to other photographers/models.

Got back into MyPad studio yesterday for the first time since the lockdown, and it felt like returning home.

John has taken advantage of the situation to clear out and improve the already excellent facilities, and MyPad is better and more user-friendly than ever. In addition, John has been painstaking in his Covid-proofing and both myself and the model felt extremely safe without being inconvenienced or hampered in our efforts to produce great images.

Overall, a great experience and really good to have a chat with John once again. He was very welcoming to my model, who is relatively new and hasn't been to MyPad before. She particularly appreciated the spacious and pristine changing room, and the mirror with lights!

I'm already booked in for my next shoot at the studio.

My pad studio is great was my first time working at this studio and its definitely one I will be recomending to models and photographer's lots of different back drops very clean and all the COVID 19 SAFETY MESURES PUT IN PLACE :)

I had my first studio shoot at MyPad this weekend. The refurb and work that john has put in for Covid restrictions are second to none.

Everything has been thought through and every I dotted and T crossed.

Myself and the model were made to feel very safe and welcome. Covid restrictions were not a restriction in anyway and the shot went along like a dream.

The refurb is great too. More space and well organised. The new changing facilities are great and a great space for the model to use.

Great job as always John. Great to be back in the studio.

Very highly recommended guys and gals if your looking for a great studio to work out of.

This was my first time shooting in this studio. I was impressed by the variety of areas that were available to shoot. He was very professional and kept his mask on. Hand santisier was available in every room and offered a mask and social distance was kept at all times. Each theme had a fantastic effect on the images. I would recommend this studio to anyone and I am planning to shoot there again already

John and Steven were very welcoming, and gave some very welcome advice, as well as setting up the lighting and backdrops to suit the model's outfit. They made sure we all had plenty of shoot time, coffee, and chat!

It's a great space run by great people, and I hope to be back again before too long

I have visited MyPad many times, attending Group Shoots and events however had my first 1-2-1 booking on 17 February. That totally changed the dynamic but completely reinforced my positive impression of the place. Firstly, the studio is a safe, secure and friendly space; it has a multitude of lights, modifiers, backgrounds and props; and John is an hospitable host who provides privacy for photographers and models to work. (He is always on hand for assistance or furniture moving if required and he makes good coffee too)

This is a great studio and I highly recommended it.

Had another great shoot at MyPad, this time with the lovely AmyFox98 (also highly recommended after this shoot).

John had everything I had requested ready for us, and was his usual welcoming self, helping Amy, a debutante at the studio, to feel comfortable and relaxed. Once we were settled he left us to get on with the shoot, but remained available to help with alterations to sets or coffee making.

We used two areas of the studio, with the purple background down in the white area, and experimented with various pieces of furniture and other props. All in all, we had plenty to inspire our imaginations.

Overall, I can't recommend John and his studio highly enough. I plan to be back again very soon.

01/11/2019 - my pad Studio Hire with Keira Lavelle on a Freestyle 1-2-1 Shoot

On Arrival was met by host the amazing and helpful John Robertson and Keira who I had booked. John was always on call to adjust lighting when needed and indeed has a wonderful and secure studio to work in. He also ensures privacy that too is appreciated.

Keira and I used two of the areas the white area and the dark background area immediately opposite. Area was cosy and there was plenty of shooting room.

I have worked with Keira before and she is also highly recommended by me. We started with nude and a steel mail jacket that I had borrowed from a artist/photographer friend for the shoot and ended up fully clothed. Everything was covered from tight headshots, three quarter to full length and high/low key too. No matter how many shoots you goon, as in this you always learn something new. Due to poor vision I did rely on Keira regarding light feathering was to do a lot of the takes - and this is where the models experience can be helpful.

In summary I would highly recommend 'my pad Studio Hire' as it is well equipped and has a beautiful layout. The good floor area does also allow for inclusion a variety of sets - you only need inspiration. I loved my visit and am sure to book you again.

My second shoot at MyPad studio, this time with Lady Heather. John and Stephen were extremely helpful with lighting and set up suggestions. Highly recommend attending a studio shoot.

Had my third shoot at MyPad, after a long summer of location shoots, and rediscovered the great facilities at this brilliant place.

John, as ever, was extremely obliging and helpful, and our comms in advance were clear, purposeful and productive.

On the evening, he had everything set up as requested and helped me synch my new camera with the strobe lights. He then kept a low profile, but was available if needed.

The shoot went off really well, with Miss Fox and I making full use of the different lighting set ups, along with two of the shooting areas and a trunk full of props that we discovered by accident. There's always a chance to improve something great at MyPad.

Overall, this is a great studio space with plenty of technical options. I'll be back again, soon and repeatedly, as the long nights draw in.

Great shoot at studio, very helpful owner and great facilities. Welcoming to my self and to my model. Happy to work there again and use for new and previously worked with models alike. Easy to find and direct models to.

This was my second visit to my pad. John is great to deal with, helps when required but never gets in the way. The studio is well set up with various sets and props and has more than enough lighting combinations to achieve whatever look that you want to create.

I can certainly recommend my pad and intend to return in the near future

I have used the studio a good few times over the past few months and it is now my go to place if I am shooting near Glasgow.

John is great and we always chat away when I'm there and is very helpful.
