Had my second shoot with Richard the other day in Wellington. It was awesome - it's so nice to work with someone who has so many creative ideas, who is so enthusiastic, who comes prepared and knows his gear and who is just so easy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, Richard is such a great collaborator and I'll happily work with him again any time. I highly recommend this great photographer to others!

I had the most wonderful experience creating with Richard! He was super organized and an excellent communicator leading up to and during our shoot, as well as friendly and professional and just really fun to spend time with. He came prepared with so many great ideas about how we might use the space he'd booked, so we ended up with a fantastic variety of amazing shots! He also went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable during our session, offering plenty of healthy snacks and creative breaks. I had a chance to work with Richard in Prague during a private class with Dan Hostettler. During the shoot Richard knows what he wants but he also give enough space to the model to express herself. I think that´s a very good combination. He´s talkative and it´s fun with him so my cup of tea. :-)

Worked with Richard at the Pauls wales weekend event with his friend in a group shoot.

Firstly his passion for the arts and photography was very apparent which fabricated a creative atmosphere. I loved his ideas, incorporating renaissance into fine art nude photography.

He was really awesome to work with, fun, full of positive energy and just generally made the time fly by. The results back of camera were stunning also

I had a great shoot with richard at shutter works studio recently! richard contacted me a month ago saying he was planning to come to the UK and wanted to work together, pre-comms were brilliant, and he sent one of the most detailed mood boards to me, which was great in producing the many different ideas we worked on! a professional photographer with creative ideas, I would definitely recommend richard to anyone :)

Arranging a shoot from the other side of the world should be fraught with problems, but with Richard, everything worked out perfectly. He arranged to meet us the day before his shoot, and we were more than happy for him to shoot unattended. He was respectful of the space and equipment and seemed to get some great shots. If you ever feel like flying over from New Zealand again, give us a shout!

I have been very remiss in not leaving this reference sooner. I worked with Richard on a one to one workshop day at Nudes Exposed, and had a thoroughly enjoyable day - the time just flew by! Richard is wonderful to work with, and took some beautiful images. We also found that we shared a similar wavelength in terms of wanting to try some different ideas and styles of image during the course of the day. Absolutely recommended without reservation!

I shot with Richard last month on a Mick Payton Studios one to one workshop... We had such an amazing session and I am gutted I wasn't able to do him a reference sooner but he deserved full compliments that you just can't "knock up" in a two minute recommendation!

I actually met Richard on the evening before our shoot, he came along to a group evening shoot so we had already well and truly clicked by the time we worked together properly. His character is so lovely, fun and upbeat which always makes a shoot that bit more epic, he's a totally respectful gentleman towards models which gives you the ability to be completely relaxed yet have a laugh while you work as well. On the Thursday we chatted so much that I'm surprised any of us had any voices the next day! :D

When a shoot turns into a creative whirlpool of funky ideas and you can just get totally into the flow and go for it, that's when you are totally buzzing by the end. This was very much the case working with Richard. He is professional in his approach and encouraging when he sees something awesome so we had this phenomenal rapport going all the way through. Richard has really superb photography vision so although he welcomes models to give their input and move with their repertoire he actually gives ace feedback when you strike gold mid-pose and that's when you feel the raging team spirit. His composing skills need particular credit - he got just as good a workout as me the way he was up, down, side to side getting the right angles for the shots! :P

A really lovely photographer who I cannot wait to work with again soon. He is an utter delight, my recommendation for him is gigantic literally!

A big thanks to Richard who I had the pleasure of working with on his trip to the UK, and who was friendly, creative and acted in a thoroughly professional manner throughout the shoot.

For a start, Richard's pre-shoot communications were really concise and helpful, sending a helpful brief and moodboard, he arrived on time and well prepared. Richard made me feel at ease and involved from the very start, communicating his ideas well. He is a creative guy, coming up with an interesting conceptual storyboard for the shoot, and discussing this with me. He is a fun guy with a great sense of humour and a skilled photographer.

Richard and I created some great work and I can't believe how quickly our shoot went, I was sad to see him go by the end.

Thanks for a great shoot, and hope to work with you again when you are next in the UK!

So Bubba came all the way from New Zealand to attend Paul's Manor House Event- it was a true pleasure! Bubba is very enthusiastic, focused and professional. He had very clear ideas for the shoot- great pre-communication and a lovely person in general. There was not a boring moment during the shoot! it was very experimental and upbeat, and I think we got some great images that were different from anything I've ever done before. It was nice to do something that steered away from cliche ideas. Thanks so much for coming and working with me. Highly reccomended. Awesome times :)

Had a fantastic shoot with Richard at the Manor House organised by Paul's Studio. I can't believe he flew all the way over from New Zealand and was actually awake and buzzing with ideas on our shoot. He had hardly slept either with the jet lag....

Anyway, Richard had contacted me well in advance to let me know his ideas for our shoot and to check I was happy with them....which I was!

On the day his ideas went amazingly well and the images look fantastic. It was a real pleasure and a lot of fn working with him.

I would certainly recommend him and would definitely work with him again if he travels back over :)
