References for Mothy

SDW Images

I have never had 6 hours fly by quite so quickly in the studio and be so much fun and so productive. It helps that Mothy is a photographer as well as he was patient while I pratted about with my lights and made positive suggestions to help us achieve a wonderful set of images.

If you are looking for a character to provide you with some character portraits, then there are very few who can compare with Mothy in terms of skill, enthusiasm and appropriate costumes - so don't hesitate and book him quickly.

Will I shoot with him again - Oh Yes! I'm already brimming over with shoot ideas and will probably need several shoots just to scratch the surface of what can be achieved.

I am an amateur hobbyist photographer and feel nervous about meeting up with strangers, but Mothy was very friendly and made me feel quite comfortable in his presence. I felt like I was meeting with a friend. Because of that I felt confident with shooting with him. I some times was worried that I was being bossy, but he assured me that I wasn’t, and that I need to be a little bit “bossy” to get the results. Mothy was happy to do whatever idea I had and pulled it off marvellously.

I’m very happy with the results and look forward to working with Mothy again soon.

Spinning Wheels Photography

Having worked with Mothy at many of the C_C_S_Events. I have to say his presence at them is a joy, He is always ready for a shoot and with props for every event, Mothy has also helped with advice on the other side of the lens helping me with advice on shutterspeed and ISO for one of the lower light events we did when I was very new to portrait photography and being one of the first times I had used my camera away from natural light it was greatly appreciated.

Had a lovely shoot with Mothy and Skycladpixie, down in the Forest of Dean last week. They are both wonderful to work with, comfortable with each other nude in the woodland/quarry setting we used. They are easy to direct, open to my ideas and helpful to achieve my vision. The pre shoot organisation was spot on, professional and friendly. I hope that we will shoot again and I'd recommend Mothy and Sky 100%.

Shot with Mothy, We had decided to do our take on the Anthony Gormley Statues, Mothy modelled & edited the images for the end result , it is exactly how I had envisaged ,so thanks Mothy . I had the pleasure to work with Mothy again, pre shoot coms are always excellent with him, the location was few hours drive but no bother and he arrived early and prepared ready to shoot. Mothy worked great with the other model as a duo shoot, great at taking direction and posing freely and looking at possible ideas as well which i love from models. Tim was one of three models I booked for a shoot at a medieval castle for about 17 camera club members. Pre comms were excellent, he turned up on time and brought excellent attire and props. He was professional throughout and new exactly what was wanted. Everyone involved has commented on how easy he was to work with. I had the pleasure of shooting Mothy at the south west creatives event in Taunton. Mothy was sharply dressed, in the brief time we collaborated I observed he is confident, enjoys his work and a capable model. He made me laugh sharing some of his experience. Mothy transformed into Indiana Jones after we shot, and I'm sure I saw him pass my set as a racing driver as well, so clearly he has an excellent wardrobe.

A very good first shoot. Tim is well-prepared and brought along a nice range of outfits that were crucial to the success of the day because it's all about suggestion with him. Versatile all the way, he can do everything from sophisticated to mean & moody to virile. Being a photographer himself, he understands what is happening and enjoys collaborating. I was struggling with a new camera but he just just kept on till I got it right.

I met up with Mothy for my first photoshoot with a member of Purple Port. I was a bit nervous, but I immediately felt comfortable with Mothy. He had his Wild Scotsman and Indiana Jones outfits for our themed shoot. We headed up to the Blackrock area at Cheddar Gorge. We actually had alot of fun, and Mothy was happy to pose for whatever I asked him for. I took alot of photos, some of which I've posted on my profile. Afterwards we went for coffee and had a long chat. I enjoyed my morning, and look forward to working with him again.

Mothy responded to my casting call for a bodypainting model and I'm so glad that he did! He was the perfect model for a Green Man look, and posed brilliantly. It was great to get the opportunity to model alongside Mothy for a brothers in arms shoot at my home, Themed clothed and art nude. I absolutely love the images I've seen of the day so far on the back of the camera and can’t wait to see the edited images & hope we get to work together on many more occasions for other photographers. It was a bit of a challenge to do this duo shoot but with Mothy’s experience of modelling it was made easy, It's inspiring to create something a little arty and different.
