Used the studio in the past. Sophia in attendance to help and provide endless brews .There's good parking and more top sets than you could use in one shoot .Good natural light as well and access to the roof top weather permitting .well recommended

A Shot in the Dark

Montrose Studios is a really unique and absolutely fabulous studio to shoot in. The sets are really high quality, especially the pin up style ones. So much attention to detail and thought has gone into them.

I'd travel to shoot here again in a heartbeat and I'm already planning my next shoot here!

Shot here last week with Evilinda and what a fab exciting place it is. Crammed with vintage memorabilia, props, clothing and a large range of sets all with plenty of space and angles to shoot including lots of lovely natural light. Phil was a lovely guy and nothing was too much trouble. We ended up running out of time to do the place justice on one visit. Very highly recommended !

My first time at the studio and instantly loved it! Such an incredible space with so many areas to create different themes of images!

Phil and Sophie are very welcoming and friendly, making me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived.

I can’t wait to go back!

WOW What a Studio, loads of sets truly amazing, absolutely spoilt for choice! Sophia and Emma were the stunning models for a Pinup Workshop, PhilM the brilliant tutor,to be fair nearly all my shots were spot on. Definitely want to return - Thanks to Sophie, Emma and Phil

Wow, absolutely loved this studio. Loads of sets, well constructed with various themes and fantastic props. But its not just the studio with its abundance of natural light that makes this a brilliant location, is also the long corridors, stairs and massive roof space which provides so much fodder for ideas. Sophia who is a great host and a good tea maker who was most welcoming and helped where needed but otherwise left us to it. Great studio highly recommended, cheers Sophia x

Had a very pleasant 2 and a half hours at Montrose yesterday. Phil the owner was on hand to sort any problems out (not that there were any) and provide a good cup of tea. The studio was easy to find and had lots of great sets, I can not wait to return.

I worked at Montrose Studios, last year (Dec 2017) I don't remember the dates, but I was booked in and shot for two days, on the second day I asked Phil would it be possible to shoot a third. Phil was great, on the third day I was working with a new model and he was able to put her at ease and also fit me in for the extra day at such short notice.

Sorry I not been in touch, I do really appreciate the assistance given and I sure next time I am up that way shooting and need a studio, you will be on the top of my list.

Had an amazing shoot at the Montrose Studio. An outstanding use of space. So many sets and great support from the owners. Wide arrange of lighting and also the opportunity to use natural light from the huge windows.

I had a fantastic time and will return as soon as possible.

This studio is small and compact but has a lot of things that can be done with it which they have done. The staff that i met were both lovely. Would highly recommend.

This was my first shoot at Montrose, as a part of a studio day with Moon Kitten and A Savage. The studio is surprisingly varied in terms of sets and props, the owners have done a great job at fitting so much into the space available without it being cramped or difficult to work in. I look forward to shooting here again in the future!

Last Saturday was my first time at Montrose Studio and I was impressed with the sets snd facilities there. Made to feel very welcome snd I look forward to returning. It will take several visits to make effective use of all the sets.

Shot at Montrose yesterday and wow, what an amazing space. The amount of different sets they have is incredible and they are all done to a very high standard. It is like a mini dream world, so many images waiting to be created. Phil and Sofia are super nice and down to earth. Would 100% recommend this incredible studio.

Had a great shoot today on the Montrose Studio roof. Sophia and Phil were there to greet us with a smile as we arrived and helped us haul the kit in. They were on hand to help and checked in to see if we were all ok but pretty much left us too it. You couldn't wish for a friendlier pair to run a studio.
