Another great shoot with mike.

We planned it quite last minute but managed to do a variety of different themes and mike brought various props with him to add to our ideas which worked great.

Mike is always enthusiastic, friendly, professional and a pleasure to shoot with. He is always conscious about my needs during to shoot such as having enough breaks and if it is warm enough etc.

Oh and he brought Jaffa cakes, always my favourite 😄

I had my second shoot with Mike quite soon after a fabulous first encounter: so without any hesitation; it was that we settled round-two for when I was due to be passing by Chester again with a view to work on some totally different ideas utilising the surroundings of Pathway studios. :)

Mike was clear and concise once again in what he wanted to achieve: we chatted concepts through and he sent imagery across so we had a set vision/goals to smash on the day which always gives you a great starting point and allows you to be totally prepared (especially if you’re shooting as part of a tour where you might have briefs for several different shoots to worry about). In execution: the ideas came out superbly: there was certainly some positive grins as we checked through what we were getting on the back of the camera! It was especially interesting because a lot of the things we did on shoot two were very varied; so rather than keeping the same lighting setup and me dashing backwards and forwards to the changing rooms a few times, we changed things up completely and this of course added the extra challenge elements which we blitzed with good model-photographer rapport bagging some genuinely lovely stuff. He is very credible as a photographer and does take some absolutely gorgeous images.

Mike is respectful of the models as you’re working together and delivers good etiquette throughout the shoot. He actively involves the models as creative contributors to the shoot and 100% values their visions as much as having his own to pursue as a brief. It’s effortless to get a good on-shoot flow going and we have had a lot of good/enjoyable vibes from our shoots: plenty of chatter/discussion and banter which makes any shoot a lot more fun.

As before: someone I’d recommend as a safe and professional photographer to work with. :)

Yet another day in the company of the lovely Mike Lyne, this time not far from his stomping ground!

Joining myself and two other models he trusted me with an urbex location neither he nor I had checked out. My recommendation for the venue had come following conversations with numerous third parties, which when you are as efficient at organisation as Mike is, is a big ask to put your faith in me. Thankfully after working together numerous times he does trust my opinion (8D)

As always communication was excellent, as was his punctuality, he even checked the traffic for me and sent me regular updates to ensure our swift arrival knowing both the arduous journey and traffic in the area (diamond springs to mind).

Mike is one of the loveliest photographers you could ever wish to work with, a gentleman, unbelievably considerate, funny - oh yes I'm still groaning at one of his jokes three days later :') intelligent, knowledgeable, I could go on and on

He is a team player of the highest regard

and if thats not enough, he even -and at short notice - made some cracking props to utilise for the last set and undertook the unenviable task of setting them up. Of course this was Mike and they worked perfectly!!

If thats not enough hes a pretty awesome photographer too.

He comes with the highest recommendation from me possible.

So had another shoot with Mike on Monday just gone and like always he is a lovely gentleman, he made the perfect guide in the urbex location anyway it always a pleasure working with him I would highly recommend him to all I can't wait to see what the images turned out like!!!!

So I had a rather last minute shoot with Mike last week! I found myself in Warrington during an evening so I thought I'd pop up a casting and Mike sent me over a message. Comms were fabulous and the shoot was organised in no time! We arranged to meet me at the station and he was kind enough to walk me to my hotel and get me checked in first!...

Now Mike usually likes to plan a shoot and there wasn't much time for that!

But I had to say we had a fabulous shoot!.... We basically went to a few spots in Warrington and took some beautiful images.

Towards the end of the shoot Mike took me for a coffee and we shot some absolutely stunning images!...

Mike was happy to let me suggest shots and we worked together well putting together lovely images!...

I have worked with Mike many times and watched his photography develop, he is becoming a very talented photographer with a good eye for detail! I would certainly recommend him to other models.

He's extremely friendly, polite, kind and a gentleman!...

What a fabulous shoot full of beautiful images, giggles and a mini tour of Warrington!

I worked with Mike at Pathway Studios in Chester on my recent tour which took me to the South West; this was early in my tour (on the way down the country so to speak) and there really is nothing like getting some positive shooting time in at the start of a trip to really get the creative buzz going. :) Mike had initially applied to my casting call and from that moment: his communications were five star, his enthusiasm really radiated through even in the early stages of us discussing the shoot and he had a clear vision and drive for the kind of images he was aiming to create which helped me considerably be prepared as best I can from my side because on a tour of this length, you can have anything up to 20 shoots so wonderfully concise communication and swift confirmations/arrangements really do go such a long way to being a massive help. hank you Mike for being awesome from the very beginning!

Mike arrived at the studio on the day with bags of drive, he honestly is a very creatively inspired photographer carrying a great deal of passion for his work: even the portraits we started with jumped straight into nailing top quality shots and both parties benefiting from a wonderful working relationship of respect and innovative interest. As we progressed through a huge variety of looks, it became standard practice for ideas to flow in a routine fashion: Mike had some excellent visions and a sharp eye for the moment. He brought some wonderful props along too to match up with ideas and would allow me to flow with my repertoire interpreting the "prop" or "look" myself but adding valuable suggestions and direction into the flow. We clicked so well and it did seem like the images got smashed really quite effortlessly, though it certainly needs appreciating just how much effort did go into setting up the moment and Mike was dashing from one corner of the room to another repositioning the lights to get the shot looking as good as it can possibly be. The effort he puts into his shoots is unquestionably admirable, but the harmonious rhythm that is easily struck when working with Mike make it seem like it's falling to place. That is just what happens when a shoot goes so well! :D The time flew by like crazy too!

So aside from being a remarkably artistic and creative photographer with undeniable ability in creating and taking a stunning picture: Mike is also a very kind and courteous person who was a delight to work with. He shows mountains of respect to the models he books and always involves them as part of the creating process on the shoot and valuing their input. His bountiful professionalism makes him a highly recommendable person that I would give credit to any day of the week. :) It doesn't matter if a model is new or experienced: I can certainly vouch that you will have a very pleasant and creatively "buzzing" shoot with Mike.

Thank you ever so much for a fabulous shoot Mike, and I do hope we can work together again in the future.

I met this lovely gentleman just over a year ago now and since meeting we’ve shot together several times! Mike is not only an absolute joy to work with but has become a firm friend for life, quite simply put he’s respectful, witty, a fantastic photographer and so pleasant to be around. I honestly can say there isn’t a bad bone in Mikes body... or in his camera bag!

This time Mike came all the way down to Derby to shoot me at the beautiful Boardroom studios in my typical Parisian style. As usual Mike had plenty of great ideas and the images appearing are stylish, classy and beautifully executed. May I also add that Mike brought me Jaffa cakes (a running northern home joke of mine) so we’re definitely friends for life now!

A truely lovey gentleman, excellent photographer and well worth working with for models of all levels!

As always, highly recommend by me.

Mike's travelled many a mile to shoot with me in the past which is something I've always been extremely grateful of. Since I moved home a few months back Mike has had to travel even further to shoot with me.

Todays shoot was a special shoot though, not only did he travel all this way he then gave me free rein over shoot content.

What's the big deal about that you ask? Mike excels at organisation, his planning and meticulousness at catering for any eventuality is bordering on legend status, and not only does he do it well, he thrives on it. So giving me the 'reins' over the organisation was out of his comfort zone.

Along with studio owner dj snowman who set up all the brilliant lighting, I hopefully gave Mike some different style shots. I struggled with one but think we got a few from it and hopefully he saw what I was trying to do.

I know one thing, I certainly enjoyed todays shoot, loved it in fact. It was so nice to be able to 'call the shots' so to speak and certainly to that extent.

Thank you for travelling all that way, thank you for trusting and putting your faith in me and thank you for giving me such an enjoyable shoot. Cant wait to see the images because back of camera they looked awesome x

So I had. My first shoot with Mike today and he brought lots fun creative ieads to the table I even got to play with some gold wings whooooo!! Mike is such a pleasure to work with and such a good laugh he is a 100% easy recommendation on my part I hope to be shooting with him again lots more in the near future!! I cannot wait to show you all our set of Images whooooo tha ks again Mike today was soooooo much fun hehe

This was so I'm told, my 14th shoot with Mike today and I have to say, I have loved every shoot to date!!

This was slightly different for Mike as I took him out of his comfort zone, the 'fool' trusted me and came to FFC where he worked with not only myself but the unforgettable KatieC.

Seriously, Mike travelled a long way to shoot here and trusted me on good faith.

I hope we showed him something new at the studio, I know he's shot with cars before but I'm pretty sure he's not shot them in this kind of environment or in the way he did today.

We also played with dance and movement, credit to Mike for his unfaltering determination, enthusiasm, practise and research into getting this shot right - he did - over and over again

We dabbled in UV light, and thanks to Mikes brill ideas and props had a boudoir shoot with a difference:)

It was a great shoot, but then it always is with Mike, I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you kindly dear sir and can't wait to see the resulting images :) :)

Had another absolutely fabulous shoot with Mike, this time it was a 1-2-1 and we returned back to The Boardroom in Derby after Mike being impressed with the space!...

As always Mike's comms are nice and detailed, organised and to the point which always helps with planning outfits and being prepared, makes life easier for me! Perfect!...

It's always nice to catch up!... We tried a really awesome variety of work and we got some awesome results!... Always lovely to see how Mike progresses and develops as a photographer!

I would certainly recommend Mike as always to studios and models a like!... He's respectful, chatty, professional and talented!

I’ve had a wonderful shoot with Mike this week, this time I made my way upto his home turf in Warrington for a mixture of outdoor and studio work. Mike was excellent as always with his pre coms and helpful with train times... even when I got on the wrong train and ended up at the other Warrington station instead of central, whoops! 🙈 I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mike three times now and each and every time it’s been a successful and productive day mixed in with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this shoot was no different. I’ve had yet another wonderful time. Thankyou again Mike! Highly recommended by me as always xxx

Mike attended another one of myself and Paige Antonia's workshops! We have shot together either in workshops or 1-2-1's for a while now and working with Mike just get's better!...

It's really nice to see his personality coming through and how relaxed he is and happy he is to work alongside other people.

We had a wonderful workshop trialling a new studio location and Mike adapted fabulously! He was helpful, chatty, creative and we had a good giggle!...

Mikes a really genuine person and an ever developing photographic talent!...

Mike joined myself and Arabella on a Cinderella shoot today at a new studio. As always he was a delight to work with, considerate, helpful and kind, a team player! He will happily jump behind the scenes to tweak, drape or hold something for another photographer to help get 'that shot'. He is always striving to better his photography experience and looks for ways to improve a shot and I must add, with great success. He very knowledgeable but simultaneously will listen to other ideas even if they break a rule. Highly recommend Mike, thank you x

My 12th shoot with mike today and I have to say quite possibly the daftest yet!! (thought the cheetah would take some beating to be honest but...)

it wasn't all daft, we actually did several - and have to say - completely different themes. Out on location we started in a gorge and took some beautiful shots by the water, we the continued with the water theme but took it far away from the water which was just soooo cool! We did eventually drop the water theme and took some 'land' based shots featuring some awesome props Mike made and brought along. I have to say, Mike was a solid photographer long before he started shooting models but he has come such a long way in the almost 2 years I have been working with him. I have had the pleasure of watching his photography bloom.

Not just his photography that has blossomed but also his creativity and editing skills, he is keen to learn and push himself and the last few shoots we have done have paid testimony to that. Mike comes up with some great ideas and executes them well.

I love working with Mike for numerous reasons, one because he has become a great friend to me, another is because he allows me to indulge my 'dafter' ideas - trust me - most people would run a mile!! others are his patience and good humour. All in all he is a lovely lovely guy who is just lovely to work with and I seriously can't recommend him enough :)

Mike joined myself and Paige Antonia for our Floral Beauties workshop, we had high hopes of beautiful sunny and warm weather, however we ended up with the complete opposite!

Despite the pouring rain and less than ideal shooting conditions Mike didn't let that phase him, he was relaxed and took his time getting shots that he wanted. He worked really well within the team, had a good giggle with everyone and even helped out with rallying everyone together!

Mike took some fabulous shots on the day and came well prepared, even offering rain covers to other photographers, which was awesome!

I have worked with Mike a good few times now and would always recommend him!...

Thank you again Mike you were a wonderful asset to the day and it was a pleasure to see what you produced on the back of the camera!

Mike joined myself and Arabella on an outdoor location event today.

Despite our careful planning the one thing out of our control - the weather, decided it was going to be as miserable as possible and threw wind and rain at us for the entire shoot duration!

Mike being the true trooper that he is took it all in his stride and battled the wind, rain and cold to get the most out of the shoot.

Ive worked with Mike many a time and we always have a laugh.

The eternal boy scout, you can rely on Mike to be well prepared and have extras, not only did he have extras - raincovers binliners etc but was generous enough to lend them out

I hope my work with Mike will continue into the future. Always striving to better his photography and push boundaries, he is always a delight to work with.
