Another perfect shoot with Dave at his fantastic pop up studio.

I arrived way too early (whoops!) But Dave and Steve were already there setting up for the shoot.

I had fun from start to finish and was made to feel completely relaxed and 'at home'.

It's always amazing how many sets Dave can put together at his pop up and he had SO many cool ideas to work with that there are plenty left over to fill another day of shooting! In fact, I think we could shoot all week and not run out of ideas!

I will be very excited for us to shoot together again, hopefully soon :)

Dave and I have known each other for around six years now. We shoot together from time to time: and sometimes he comes along to workshops.

That's what this is about: a little bit extra: Dave is always supportive, always looks after the model. And - I am delighted to say - sometimes spots things I've missed, and (very gently) points them out.

That doesn't have a price tag on it: you can't measure that kind of support in Pounds Sterling. It has a value beyond measure. Thank you, Dave, for your continuing support.

Its with great pleasure Im adding this reference for a great friend and fab photographer.

When i had to move my studio just under two years ago Dave was not only there to help move everything but spent hours and hours setting it up and helping build the new one. He was the first to use it and he was the last to use it with Amethyst at her model day on the last day before I closed it down.

Dave is not only a brilliant photographer but he is always totally professional at all times with which ever model he is working with. He is also brilliant at thinking outside the box with not only compositions but way out props and things most would not consider using which means he has a unique way of capturing images.

Add to this hes a really nice guy and Im proud to call him a friend and models if your looking for a brilliant fun professional photographer then you just have to work with Dave.

I had a fantastic shoot with Dave and his friend Steve at their specious pop-up studio not far from Birmingham International where David kindly picked me up from the station and droped me back. So happy that I could make it as it was between the railways strike days.

It was so much joy and delight to shoot with them and there were many wonderful props, fabrics and items to play with. We have shot different styles from fashion, lingerie, topless to art nude while the shoot was very fun and relaxed.

Dave made sure I was hydrated and refreshed during our shooting as it was a warm sunny day. He was excellent host and both of them were very creative and professional photographers.

I recently had a fantastic morning shooting with Dave and his friend Steve at their wonderful 'pop-up' studio.

They bought with them an array of props, backdrops, lighting... everything you could wish for, along with an abundance of ideas.

Both Dave and Steve were loads of fun to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them and, of course, to work with them again together or individually.

I had a wonderful shoot with Dave last month!...

A couple of years before Covid was the last time I worked with Dave during a workshop so it was lovely to hear from him again!..

This time he invited me to shoot with himself and another photographer at their location.

Comms where fabulous and he arranged to pick me up and drop me off in time for my trains!

The whole shoot was fabulous, completely relaxed, we had a giggle and got some wonderful photos.. I felt really comfortable in the space I was working in and had everything I needed!...

There was also some extra fantastic props to work with!...

I would certainly recommend Dave to other models and would love to shoot with him again in the future!

We've worked together quite a few times in the last four years or so... Today was different, with Dave, very kindly, coming along to 'assist' at a shoot with a band.

So helpful, spotting and sorting things before I'd noticed them - and also doing a spell shooing individual portraits of the band, so that we wrapped the whole thing up early.

Mates don't come better than this bloke.

Another amazing shoot with Dave! Recommended? Yes!! 100%!!

I had the chance to shoot again with Dave and Stevie this week for the first time at Dave’s “pop up” studio.

Very grateful he asked me to shoot together again, this was our third time working together and as always it was a joy from the start until the end :)

Dave pre communication was brilliant, he gave me enough details to be prepared at the best on the day.

On the day he kindly collected me from the train station to reach the studio. Studio was all set up and ready to shoot. Plenty of backdrops, lights, clothings, fabric and props to play with.

Dave as a photographer is brilliant, professional, plenty of ideas and creativity. Shoot are always very productive and fun.

Lovely personality and excellent host! He made sure I was comfortable all the way through, gave me a room to use as changing room, made one of the best coffee and brought a selection of my favorite cookies! Very thoughtful!

Totally recommended working with Dave and hopefully we’ll be shooting together again soon! Thank you Dave for the fantastic shoot! :)

OMG where to start with this reference...

If there is such a thing as the perfect shoot...this was it!

I noticed some really good references on their ports and thought I would contact them...so glad I did!

Dave and Stevie Ball work extremely well together (so I have decided to give them the same reference)...

I hadn't done a shoot in 4 days, so I had loads of energy and enthusiasm haha...

Dave and Steve are absolutely fantastic to work for...easy to get on with, super friendly, chatty, gentlemen (they were both always making sure I was warm, plenty of tea and not hungry), professional and respectful...

They are both soooooooo good at getting the lighting really good (totally different styles of lighting, which is one thing that makes it so fun to work for these guys)...

They brought loads of props that worked so well and the dress just made my hips look even more sexy haha...

We did a mixture of portrait, fashion, nudes and bodyscapes...

The time went so quick...

Thank you to both of you for booking me...

They are the best and I hope to see you both again...

Second time shooting with Dave last Saturday at Lampworks in Birmingham during a group shoot. I was surprised in a positive way when I first saw him as I remembered last time we shot together (almost a year ago now) it was great!!

Dave was a joy to work with: professional, creative, kind and friendly throughout. He came prepared with plenty of props and add his twist to the shots. He knew what he wanted achieve from the images and gave great directions when needed.

I love the first edits he made and I can’t wait to see more!

I would recommend 100% Dave to any models and creatives if you are looking to create beautiful images and a great overall experience with a professional dedicated photographer and lovely human being.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dave during a group shoot organised at Lampworks, Birmingham and from the very start of the shoot to the end, he was a pleasure to work with!

He was polite and professional throughout, which really helped to put me at ease. The back of camera shots I saw were fantastic and we're already discussing our next shoot, this time a 1-2-1!

Dates attention to detail is great, nothing smaller details that might otherwise obstruct the final image and he's definitely not hesitant to change his settings!

He worked well as part of the group dynamic and also well solo during his sets.

I'd definitely recommend Dave and wouldn't hesitate to work with him in the future.

I had my first shoot with Dave at him pop up studio, and I hope it is the first of many.

The pop up studio itself is amazing, there is an abundance of backgrounds, lighting and more. Dave is so accommodating and made sure I was happy and comfortable at all times. The communication was spot on both before the shoot and on the day, he found it so easy to explain exactly the look he wanted to acheive from each set and I think we worked fantastically well together.

Daves a great guy to be around, he is organised, creative and offers wonderful conversation.

I would certainly recommend to any model and I'm looking forward to next time already!!

Had a super fun shoot with Dave today. He came and shot me in a local studio to me. I brought a range of outfits and ideas with me and Dave was super happy to go with them. Dave tried lots of different lighting techniques and we got lots of cool shots from it.

Dave is a real joy to model for and does know a few good 'dad jokes' hehe. I can not wait to see the edited images. 100% recommended. Hope to model for Dave again soon.
