Dave is an amazing gentleman to work with for many reasons, one of which is his creativity. His pre shoot communications were excellent and he explained his vision clearly as well as outfit suggestions which are always super helpful.

When he booked me during my studio day at R6 Studio in Kettering I knew we were going to capture gold and I was totally right. Having worked together once a year or so ago, we already had an idea of how each other worked so we were bound to get lots of amazing images. Dave has this wonderful ability to get along with anyone and the two of us had a good time, bantering constantly. In between the banter we wandered around the studio and captured gorgeous shots everywhere. He's very open to ideas and was happy with any I had suggested but is equally happy to make decisions.

We captured some fabulous images and worked seamlessly together to get them. Dave works phenomenally with studio light but was perfectly happy to use natural light if necessary! He was polite, professional and super easy to chat to. He has such enthusiasm for photography and I really had a blast.

The images looked epic and I look forward to seeing his edits! 1000% recommended.

Dave came to shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage alongside fellow photographer Myk G. I have now met Dave a few times at Basford when he has been to shoot here with other models, so it was a pleasure to be asked for a shoot myself!! Having gotten to know Dave already was a blessing as I felt instantly relaxed with him and we were able to shoot beautiful images from the very start (if I might say so myself...!!).

Throughout the shoot we worked through a number of different styles, including some portraiture in the drawing room, a tasteful art nude set, and some stronger images on the derelict stairs. Dave also brought with him a number of props, including a wonderful old vintage camera!!

Shooting with Dave was a lot of fun, I always felt completely respected by him and we were able to have a good laugh throughout. Dave was keen for me to review the back of the camera and happy for me to delete any images I realllyyy didn't like (which wasn't many... I can tell you that!! Haha!).

It goes without saying that I would highly reccomend a shoot with Dave. He's a wonderful photographer and I very much look forward to seeing him and shooting with him again soon!! Thank you so much Dave!!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Dave came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with studio owner Leanne (Miss C) alongside fellow photographer Myk G. All pre comms with Dave were great and he made everything very easy to organise.

Dave arrived on time with Myk with everything he needed for a great shoot. He worked well alongside Leanne throughout their shoot time and was always respectful of her and our shoot location.

We would highly reccomend Dave and very much look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Dave!

Would I recommend DaveEd? You bet, without a shadow of a doubt yes! I shot with Dave today as part of my studio day at PGD. After relaxing and chatting over coffee we started loosely planning the shoot. Dave's ideas were brill, enabling me to be creative and also open to my own ideas. I had such great fun on this shoot and the images on back of camera? ...AMAZING! I can't wait to see what the final images look like!

Dave was polite, respectful and friendly throughout and clearly knows his stuff. I really hope this is the first of many shoots together, as it's been one of my favourites of the year! 😊

What a pleasure he was to work with I find it very important to be able to have a bit of banter and a laugh with photographers as it puts me at ease and everything just flows when you can have a laugh ,

So here goes...

Dave greeted me with his umbrella from my car, as it was pouring down with rain and helped me to stay dry from the car to the studio...

Dave booked me at the x factory studio...

This was our third shoot and we absolutely smashed it with incredible shots...

Being a new studio to me I was ridiculously excited and then Dave got me even more hyper with his personality haha...

Anyway, Dave is professional, respectful, down to earth and alot of fun as you can probably tell haha...

We mainly did art nude and humourous nudes (which Dave knows I love doing)...

All in all Dave is a fantastic guy to work for and has you smiling or laughing throughout the session...

I cannot wait to see these edited pictures...

Dave came along to my workshop at bodyline studio and I always know im gonna have a good shoot with Dave turns up!

Dave is gem! He always put the model first and make sure you’re warm enough/cool enough and your comfortable throughout the shoot!

Hes funny, Super down to earth yet professional

Dave booked onto my studio day @ Image Red last week, making this the first time we have shot together, and I’m v glad that he did so! Dave is laid back and personable, making the whole tone of the shoot v enjoyable! Although we only had 2 hours together, we worked our way through a whole selection of successful sets - even using a part of the studio i never knew existed (which was v fun!). The images so far are fantastic and I really hope to work with Dave again in the not so distant future! Thank yo for such an enjoyable shoot Dave, highly recommended of course!

Due to travel nightmares (and almost being stranded) I was a little late for the event but Dave came to collect me from the station and helped me get everything set up when I got there. I was staying at the studio overnight so he stayed late to make sure I was okay and helped close up the studio for the night. He also collected me the next morning to take me to the station which was extremely kind

He was a pleasure to work with, great sense of humour and really easy going, also very respectful and polite

I'm really glad I had the chance to work with him, cannot recommend him enough and would be more than happy to work with him again :)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Dave came to Basford Hurst cottage to shoot with Simone H on her studio day event. It was a pleasure to welcome Dave to Basford, he is a great photographer and always a joy to have around.

He worked well alongside Simone to produce many wonderful images and was always respectful of her and our location.

I have worked with Dave a couple of times before alongside another photographer, so was happy when Dave booked a one to one shoot on one of my model days at Basford Hurst.

Dave is a lovely guy, very laid back and down to earth, and extremely easy to work with. We got through a number of different sets and changes and made the most out of the natural light.

The photos from the day that i have seen so far look amazing.

I will hopefully get to work with Dave again soon.

I had a lovely first shoot with Dave-during my studio day at Image Red. He arrived on time, ready to go and with some creative items/clothing optional for me to use- yesss thank you!!

We discussed a few things and got equated with one an other; where it quickly became apparent how much of a chilled photographer he was, he was happy to give little direction but had good input to some poses and was confident in telling me if or when to hold a pose.

Dave always let me know if or when he was moving closer to me for a portrait shot which demonstrated decent levels of respect and communication- (2 key ingredients!) he worked hard and continuously moved his angling or positioning to match my pose. As I was moving about I loved seeing Daves passion and skills surfacing more, I think we were both getting into 'the zone' for this two hour shoot which as it does flew by. Thank you Dave! Until next time. Totally recommended :)

Many many moons have passed since our second shoot and plots and twists of life BUT 🙌 finally we got our chance to have a third shoot and this time we worked at the awesome kiln in stoke alongside John Duder. I have to say those two really do work together so so well and bounce ideas beautifully. I was having a great time working with them both and Dave as always took plenty of amazing shots and had great ideas to bring to the table. I was kept warm and hydrated throughout, with ample rest breaks and both have such a wonderful way about them and with Dave’s great sense of humour it really was a great shoot 😌 I’d have happily shot together all day if I could! Time does fly by when you’re having fun as the saying goes and that was absolutely the case here! Awesome photographer and awesome gentleman, I will always recommend Dave. Absolute star ⭐️
