I’m an amateur hobbyist photographer who does it for fun. That said I do aim to get good quality images and hope to continually improve.

I've been interested in photography since 1977. Around 2009 I started to shoot people at events such as  Whitby Goth, steampunk events and 1940's weekends.

I've enjoyed that direction and I started shooting with models at a group shoot in June of 2017.

It's something I'd like to do some more of and, being very new to it, learn more about and gain more techniques, skills, and experience.

I like to be easy going, laid back and pretty informal on shoots without any loss of a professional approach - we’re there to create some nice images, but it should be fun and enjoyable too.

I like to think I have a decent sense of humour and can get along with people. I can be a tad shy at first, used to be terribly shy, but after a while I will relax and we’ll get along fine and dandy.

Being rather new, as I type this on 29 Dec 2017, to working with models I am more than happy for models to take the lead in poses etc with input from myself here and there and will always be open to ideas and suggestions from models too - I see it as a team effort.

A brief word on post processing - I do  minimal processing - I prefer people to look human not like showroom dummies/ wax works. If you’re considering working with me and aren’t sure about this aspect of my work just check out my images and see what you think.

As regards genres I don't consider myself as having strong preferences, being happy to shoot most things and try new things too.
