Earlier today, I had the enormous pleasure of shooting with GingerSnaps. Pre-comms could not have been better, thus we both knew what to expect from today's shoot.

GingerSnaps was ready to go at our meeting place, so that once we arrived at the planned location we could start shooting straight away. despite the storm force freezing cold wind, she gave the shoot her all throughout and simply flowed from pose to pose, taking what little direction I gave very well.

Professional, polite, friendly and thoroughly good company on a shoot, I cannot recommend her highly enough and I sincerely hope that this was the first of many shoots with this extremely talented young lady.

I had the pleasure of being Mel’s first shoot in two years, after her break from modelling. She did not disappoint.

Firstly, her communication was excellent. I’ve had lots of experience with booking models weeks in advance only for them to forget about the booking when I checked in a day or two before the shoot. Not Mel! She was on the ball chasing me! A pleasant change!

She arrived on time, with appropriate clothing etc for the shoot we discussed. She had also bought a few extras having really taken on board the brief. I wanted to try and do some shots to try and appeal to entrepreneurs wanting images for their websites... she turned up with a crafting kit (engraving thingamy) as she’d thought it would be useful for me to get images that show someone working on something. Great thinking! Showed she’d really understood what I needed and thought about how she could help.

She’s a superb girl. Good company, chatty and funny. And you’d never have known it was her first shoot in 2 years.

And what she says about having a thousand faces (or however it’s worded on her portfolio) is totally true. A photographers dream. No “please can we get a smile” so you have varied expressions. She has tons of them! A real actress with her expressions.

I absolutely would work with her again. Book her.

I did a set with this amazing lady today with 3 other photographers & makeup artist Adam.

She is an absolute delight, she knows how to pose & has a range of different facial expressions plus she has a great positive friendly attitude which never fails to make me laugh and puts you at instant ease.

I would shoot with GingerSnaps again in a heart beat.

Mel was so amazing to work with! The laughing never stopped... Unless we were doing eye makeup! But in all seriousness, Mel is such a fantastic character to work with and an MUA's because she will just let you try anything you like.

She made me feel very relaxed and had me in a fit of giggles. Just an all round winner.

As part of a group shoot, I enjoyed working with Melanie, she is quite a cheerful & colourful model. She knows exactly what is expected of her also with the help of MUA. I was impressed that she brought a few props to add in. Also she was happy for me to add my own creative ideas to make it more eye catching.

Face of Chaos had the privilege of meeting Melanie at a 'Picture This Event' a project set up recently between my husband, Stroke of Beauty mua - Caz Holland and myself.

First impressions last, I am so glad we met Mel, she is such a pleasure to work with.

Full of life, bubbly and friendly towards models/photographers new/old.

Melanie puts her all into any project she is a part of, with great character building imagination on whatever idea we put in front of her, and takes direction well.

Picture This Events

What can we say about Mel.

We first met Mel all at our 1st ever Vintage Themed event (well in the tea shop around the corner) and what a joy she is to be around.

She comes prepared, takes direction well, and brings so much fun to events.

Mel became a favorite with both models and photographers in attendance.

Mel has attended several events with us since our first meeting including Modern Disney, Gothic, 60's Flower Power & Everything 80's, Dark Circus, Remembrance Day, High Key Futuristic, Alice/Mad Hatters Tea Party, God's & Goddess.

We hope this is not the last we have seen of the lovely talented Mel.
