Studio Luminescence

Matt has started to become a regular part of the Luminescence Community and has attended a number of themed events this year so far. These have included Clouds with Meg Modelling, Amongst the Flowers with Simone Stocks and 'uncovered' with Eowyn Luna.

Matt is a polite, creative and all around lovely guy to have around for a workshop. He has a wealth of experience with different cameras and likes to be creative within the set theme. He interacts well with the group attending as well as the model. He is always respectful of the studio space and equipment, and should you for some reason have too many biscuits lying around, he is more than willing to help you get rid of some...

We continue to recommend working with Matt from a studio perspective. He's ace!

Communication and planning was excellent!

We were unlucky with the weather, it was cold and windy but the spirit was great and we did the best we could with those circumstances!

I had been looking forward to shooting with Matt. He's always been incredibly supportive on my Instagram. Leaving many encouraging comments on my work. I finally shot with him at Fine and Dandee studio. He was professional throughout. Easy to work with, relaxed, and made me feel comfortable. He gives direction clearly while allowing me to pose freely. We played around with a selection of my outfits and took many lovely images under different lighting. Overall nothing to fault at all. Definitely a photographer who knows what he's doing. I recommend him and would love to work with him again :)

Studio Luminescence

We worked with Matt for the first time at our Into the Souks event with Fern_cj recently, and it was a delight to be able to host him.

Matt is incredibly friendly and once settled in it was a pleasure to get to know him, chat about his style of shooting and learn about his photography journey. He is a man with many tricks up his sleeve and many cameras within his bag and it was great to see him shoot with his medium format film camera at the event. We are excited to be able see the results soon!

Matt was also conscious and respectful of our studio, the shooting space, equipment and set materials. He interacted well with Fern and the other attendees. We would more than happily welcome him back again.

We recommend working with Matt in a group workshop / group shoot format to models, studios and event organisers alike.

Wow, what a great first shoot I had with Matt! We organised a half day shoot while I was staying at a hotel in Birmingham, he arrived promptly and with plenty of great gear! He was very kind and chatty, as well as being so easy to work with. The back of camera images ended up looking amazing, so I can only imagine how great the final results will be! Can’t recommend him enough, and I really look forward to shooting with him again if given the chance :)

Had a fantastic maternity shoot with Matt at The Boardroom Studio.

It was lovely to work with Matt again and I really enjoyed our shoot. Matt is very creative and really knows his stuff. I love that he uses his film camera as well as digital. We worked through different sets and outfits and played around with lighting. Was a really great shoot.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Having met Matt on our open day it was a pleasure to welcome be back to Basford when he came back to shoot with Erica Mulkern on her group shoot event.

Matt worked well with Erica on each of her sets and made sure to be always respectful of the location and our time schedule for the event. He is also incredibly easy to talk to, polite, friendly and each to work alongside.

I was available last minute Friday just gone and contacted Matt as he had previously asked if I was free.

Literally within less than 2 hours, Matt had arrived and comms were excellent!

I thought he was very easy to chat to and work with. Elvis (my dog) also really liked him which is great! :D

We shot a mixture of Fashion, portraits and lingerie. The images on the back of the camera looked absolutely fantastic and I'm really looking forward to seeing any that Matt choose to share!

High recommended to other models and would certainly work with him again without hesitation!
