I attended Matt’s lighting workshop on Saturday. I found the workshop to be highly informative and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning about lighting. Matt had a great way of explaining and demonstrating the equipment. He was very knowledgeable and was more than happy to answer any questions that we had.

I attended the beginners lighting workshop with Gino and also xmas pin up group shoot hosted by Matt and really enjoyed both shoots and learnt a lot from Matt and i have been inspired by Matt as his work is amazing and phenomenal and I felt comfortable in the group and had a laugh and was fun and enjoyable and definitely recommend to other Photographers to attend his workshops Or his group shoots and I got some really amazing photos I took and helped me lot with angles and gave me lots of advice as I am starting out and hoping to go to uni and thank you again and look forward to coming on the next group shoots

This was my first time shooting with Matt at Studio 33 in Birmingham.

I was part of an evening studio set with Elle Harris in a group of photographers.

Matt was very welcoming and a cuppa is always on hand.

The lighting that was set up for the various styles was top notch, and the whole shoot was relaxed, fun but at the same time professionally run.

I'm sure I'll be attending more studio sets with Matt, a very exceptionally talented and charismatic photographer, a pleasure to shoot with, thanks for a top shoot Matt, and studio 33 along with Matt has my recommendation implicitly, cheers GOMEZ.

Attended one of Matts studio Lighting for Beginners at Studio 33, great session with a small group, Matt showed us some nice lighting set ups that we could use to get started and included a few tips and tricks. We were also fortunate to have the lovely Alycia posing for us. Thanks Matt now ready to try it on my own.

I was so excited about modelling at Studio 33 for a Halloween event hosted by Matt and Iulia. The precomms were brilliant, I felt totally comfortable and relaxed and had an awesome evening! I would highly recommend and really hope to work together in the future!

What a great evening!

I had the chance to work with Matt at one of the group shoots he organises for studio 33 (Barnet) and it was honestly so much fun, didn't feel like work!

Matt has extensive knowledge in lighting and it was truly great to see the master at work. You need only see the images on the back of the camera to know what I mean, let alone any final images!

Matt's very easy to get on with, says it how it is and has a great sense of humour, much needed for a great working environment!

And that's not all, the community I felt there was so welcoming! Really great people who came along to shoot. It was a fab experience.

I had the absloute pleasure of working with Matt at his fabulous group shoot in Birmingham last night & What a pleasure it was! :-)

Matt has both a precise eye for lighting and a collaborative, improvisational spirit that allowed me ample freedom of expression and movement

Since neither of us knew in advance what kind of work we'd produce together.

Spoiler alert: the friggin awesome kind, that's what kind!

Most importantly, he was courteous, candid, and generally enjoyable to talk to. Would absolutely shoot with him again, and would recommend him to models of all experience levels.

I had a great night at studio 33 with Matt leading the group shoot, I have never been to any other group shoots because I’ve always been worried about going to anything like that, but knew if was ever going to one it would be this one.

I had a great night, I felt very comfortable! Didn’t feel lost in tectonical information as this was to the point and explained without all the Gargon,the people attending were lovely, Matt was supportive and gave us inspiration and the model was bubbly and soo quick to pose💕

Will 100% be going to the next one very happy I found a place with like minded photographers

I attended a portfolio building event hosted by Matt at his studio (Studio 33) in Birmingham.

Matt is a great host, warm, friendly and welcoming.

Made himself available to people that needed help/support despite it not being a workshop.

Couldn't ask for more and I will be back for future events

I was proud to be the first model fora workshop at Studio 33 hosted by Matt and Iulia . Matts communications were first class , I knew what to expect and we got the shoot on a roll almost straight away .

Matt is great with the clients , making sure that they are happy and always on hand to give them some guidance if needed . It was well run and made for a great evening of versatility .

Matt rocks!!

I absolutely love this guys way of working. He is an absolute dream to model for!

So Matt recently visited Plymouth and I managed to get a super quick fire round shoot with him. That’s all we needed to be honest, he smashed it!! Genuinely so easy to work with and so much fun with it! He gets the highest of recommendations from me and whether I’m invited or not I will be heading up his way to scrounge a shoot with him again in due course!

If you get the chance to work with Matt, don’t let it pass you by 😊

Had the pleasure of working with Matt late last year.

We had a lovely shoot at his studio and were able to try several looks, all of which produced great results. Matt also got an fantastic MUA on board that really took the images to the next level.
