After many setbacks (including the pandemic!) we finally managed to get a date in the diary for a shoot. I confessed that I was very nervous, as I had always wanted to try a rope shoot but had never managed to pluck up the courage. I need not have worried, as they were amazingly patient with me and I had a fantastic experience. I even learned a quick tie myself, which both I and my husband enjoyed!

Thank you for a great first time with rope, I am now an unashamed rope bunny! I'm already looking to book the next shoot and can't wait to see how far I can push my limits.

A return to the woods for a shibari shoot with Martin was welcomed by me.

Pre comms were as usual excellent as they always have been.

Our usual spot was not accessible so a new spot we had to find. Although we had to change what we had planned, ideas still flowed and some great shibari images captured in this fantastic location. Time just flew by.

A real pleasure to work with. Martin is totally respectful at all times.

Highly recommended to all both as a photographer and as a great rigger.

I look forward to next time 🙂

Had a wonderful shoot today with Martin & hes wife Dawn that just left me completely chilled & of course very happy :)

We started off with some bodyscaping shots before moving on to shibari. Martin is a superb rigger whos very respectful at all times and makes me feel exceptionally comfortable. Martin even gave my husband a tutorial on rope and helped him practice on me.

I just love being a rope bunny :)

So this time a fashion shoot. Quite unusual for me to do so slightly out of my comfort zone. I soon settled in to it and the laughter started as we took some fantastic photos.

Some weirdness added to the shoot with the help of skeletons in a dungeon style setting.

Its a lovely area to shoot in and hopefully we can return in the summer sun xx

Invited to come along by Lou1111 and share a shoot with Andy300 also doing the lighting at Studio Fifty Eight in Kettering. So did some gorgeous gel lighting through blinds and then shibari suspension by rigger MartinQ, so a great albeit chilly day. We all got some awesome shots and we will all be shooting there at the end of March - as a tester for running shibari workshops there. It`s an amazing space and we will definitely be returning there soon - ideally placed halfway between many Midland models and us in depths of Norfolk ;)

Martin and his wonderful wife Dawn came to mine to shoot. It was amazing!

I absolutely love working with these two ☺️

This time, what we created made me feel like a real shibari warrior princess. The rope work was stunning and looked absolutely amazing. I had a top tie based around a beautiful Josephine knot, a corset with interwoven chopsticks, and a hip harness complete with a circular weave on each side.... it was absolutely stunning!!

Martin has amazing skills, and with the added mind of his wife Dawn, they create the most stunning rope. I feel blessed to be able to wear it. Photography wise, the images are always fantastic. We also got some nice low key images in my harness and some bodyscape, which are equally stunning. I often suffer with hurting cheeks from smiling so much as I’m looking through the edits. Lol! ☺️

So the complete opposite of our usual style of shoot. Martin put down his rope and used his photographic skills to capture some amazing images as I showed my Domme side in action With my boots and leather corset on and my whips and canes. Was a fantastic shoot as always. Highly recommended Martin to all xx

Where do I start.... Martins rope is just amazing!! It’s totally stunning and I thoroughly enjoy being wrapped in his rope.

This was my 4th shoot with a Martin and his wife Dawn and they just get better and better.

Each time we shoot Martin excels himself.

We tried out some new rope Martin had got and I felt very privileged to christen it. The design was stunning... the images speak for themselves!

Martin has an brilliant eye for photography. Capturing images that show the rope, and myself, in the best light. I’m always blown away with both the images, and the rope.

I’m very much looking forward to our next shoot!!

I had the pleasure of providing some bondage rigging for a shoot with Martin and his wife Dawn with Elektra77.

Martin is extremely easy going and there was plenty of pre-shoot chat to discuss ideas and get to know each other so that on the day everything went very smoothly and we all had great fun.

There was great communication between us all on the day so we were able to get some really good shots and have plenty of laughs too. I would thoroughly recommend Martin and very much look forward to working with him and Dawn again.

First time ever leaving Martin a reference despite the fact we`ve been shooting together for over a decade! Our first time with knot_here at Elektra77 for a planned get-together to see if we`d work well together, answer is Yes!

Great shots produced as both Jay and Martin did different shibari ties and was great to see the geeky discussion between two such accomplished riggers as their love of rope was shared - plus I got to suggest additions, so can add easy-going to Martin and Jay`s descriptions as they could see what aesthetic I was after shooting. of course, Martin is used that by now ;)

Was a very enjoyable shoot and quite a laugh too. No doubt first of many joint shoots to come, indeed January looks busy already.

My third shoot with Martin and his wife Dawn, and each time they just get better and better!

Martins rope work is stunning. His attention to detail is beautiful! I can’t even put into words how amazing I feel when I’m dressed in his rope work. This time Martin made me me into a shibari warrior princess mermaid and I was delighted with the results! We also worked through other sets that are equally stunning. Along with Dawns creations.... . We really did excel ourselves this time.

I love working with Martin and Dawn, and they are fast become very good friends of mine. I can’t wait to shoot again in a couple of weeks time! It can’t come soon enough!!

My second shoot with Martin and another absolute success!!

Martin contacted me to see if I was available to fill a role with short notice on a duo shibari shoot at The Asylum, along with Dawn Q and Alan1p. It was fortunate that I unexpectedly was available and, obviously, I jumped at the chance!!

I absolutely love Martin’s rope work. His attention to detail is excellent! I feel like I’m wearing the most beautiful outfit when I have rope around my body...as before like a shibari warrior princess

Martin is not only an amazing rigger, but he takes some amazing images too! I love the way he captures the rope in the image as well me as a model. I absolutely love his work. So much in fact that I’ll be working with him and Dawn again I’m a few days.

Had yet another great shoot with Martin and his wife Dawn at the loft studio in Rochester. Martin had some great ideas of what he was looking to shoot, asking my hubby to be a prop. The images he wanted to achieve are fantastic. We always have fun, Martin and his wife always make you feel comfortable have great ideas of what they are after from a shoot. If you get a chance, you need to shoot with these too especially if you want to add something fantastic to your portfolio, highly recommended.

Another fantastic shoot in the depths of the forest for halloween. Where i face a fear lol . 

Great pre comms as always and brilliant ideas. We worked through a few sets. 

Lots of laughter along the way as always and coffee and biscuits to hand.

Wow Wow Wow!! What an amazing shoot!!!

I thoroughly enjoy being tied in shibari, so crossing paths with Martin and Dawn was very exciting for me.

We arranged a shoot a few weeks ago and spent the time leading up discussing ideas etc. I felt like I’d made friends with them before we’d even met.

Before Martin started to tie me, he explained all the safety information needed. He also explained everything as we were going along.

I was absolutely delighted with the results!

Both Dawn and Martin took some amazing shots and I can not wait to see the images.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot and I can’t wait to get together with both again!!

Pre comms were, as always, excellent and spot on. 

Several sets were covered with a very wide range of ideas being shot. Resulting in fantastic photos from Martin. I was, as always, well looked after with plenty of coffee and chocolate biscuits! 

I really am so very pleased with the results from this shoot and more shoots are already booked.

I had the greatest pleasure of joining Martin Q on one of his shibari sets shot at The Asylum in kent.

He was joined also by his wife Dawn Q.

The thought , care and planning that goes into Martin's Shibari and shooting sets is amazing . Briefing the model fully before evening picking up a length of rope and also giving them a full health and safety briefing aswell as briefing them on his experiance and guidance.

A true gent and a very respectful and respected honest caring guy with a very artistic eye too.

Truely was a great honour to not only be able to watch these guys but to shoot alongside as a equal team member too was a making for an unforgetting shooting experiance.

Martin and Dawn shot today at The Asylum and brought with them such a inspiring shooting concept

Conibining their photography skills and the amazing art of shibari together in this grungy studio setting really excelled.

Both are very professional and very health and safety aware to a very high degree and ensuring the models bindings was safe correct and model was in their comfort zones with no discomforts or pain.

They gave the models a full pre binding briefing

Such an amazing couple to watch as they create magic and to have visited the Asylum as their choice of studios to shoot this set at.
