References for Martin Q

I worked with Martin and his lovely wife, Dawn during my recent tour in Norfolk. We shot at a beautiful forest location, making use of the surroundings.

Martin is organised (camping stove, kettle, coffee, props...!) and has a good sense of humour.

Pre-shoot communications were good so I was able to arrive prepared for our shoot.

We had lots of chatter and laughter but managed to work through a fair few sets too.

This is a belated reference- for which sincere apologies to Martin- but it was a real pleasure to work with Martin on the Glossy Pink Lipstick One Light Only lighting workshop. We were able to experiment with diverse backdrops and lighting set ups, and the results Martin kindly showed me on the back of the camera looked lovely. 😊 Martin was friendly and professional throughout the workshop. Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You, Martin.x

It was great to meet Martin yesterday at my lighting workshop. Martin is a cool down to earth guy who I got on really well with.

It was super hot in the studio but he made sure I was as comfortable at all times and we powerd through. From what I've seen on the back of the camera we got some awesome shots!

I can't wait to sort another shoot out with him .

Martin Attended my recent workshop on lighting with a desire to improve their skills.

He Was attentive and immersed himself into the day thoroughly with a desire to learn new lighting skills having only done daylight primarily.

He Arrived well before time and came prepared to shoot with the correct equipment and enthusiasm.

Had great etiquette with the models regardless of experience and behaved impeccably and got on well with both of the models.

He had his own ideas and directed the models well sometimes in areas not before encountered on a shoot.

Was respectful of the other attendees and kept to strict time frames for shooting.

He is a knowledable guy wanting to do well.

Highly recommended.

Martin is a wonderful photographer and fun to work with. Full of ideas and willing to let me try my own, we worked on a Paint Party Festival style shoot on Sunday together and I'd be more than happy to work with him again in the very near future.

Haha I have to laugh when I write my dear friend Mr P a ref . He makes me laugh so much I’m barely able to pose due to fits of laughter. 😂😂

Another successful shoot today . Jez I did some fashion for a change as well as a bit of urbex. I went into an artnude pose . Mr P’s words were f..k that you’re not doing that shit. Haha 😂😂😂. I absolutely love working and seeing my dear friend . We spend more time laughing at my antics or his crazy ass comments lol 😝.

Would I recommend this dude. F..king HELL YES 💯 % always .😊👍

Well .. what can i say but had the most awesome shoot outdoors at a Viaduct in Colchester with Martin & hes wife Dawn Q.

Fantastic Photographers & people in general.. glad to call them both good friends.

The images i saw on the back of the camera were just amazing. 2 people who know what they want in the photo and with Martins wifes creative flair it just made the whole shoot relaxed & fun.

Love working with both Martin & Dawn.. plenty of giggles throughout.

You certainly won't be disappointed working with these two!!

I met Martin and his lovely photographer wife, Dawn, at my home studio and wow what a fantastic day we had. Martin and Dawn were an absolute joy to work with, making me feel completely at ease from the onset. We all had so many ideas and found the time went by far too quickly. There's only one thing left to do now and that's to book another shoot 😉

I highly recommend both Martin and Dawn to anyone who is lucky enough to model for them whether that is individually or jointly.

What a fantastic shoot I had today with Martin and his wife Dawn. The location they chose was just stunning, I wasn't sure if I could do the place justice. We originally had the shoot planned during March but the dreaded snow stopped play, we rearranged and although we got a little damp and chilly it went really well. Martin and Dawn are great they have good ideas and work really well as a team , getting lots of different shots from different angles.The pre communication was spot on they knew exactly what kind of shots they wanted and their attention to detail is perfect. I cant wait to work with them again as we have some more ideas to work with, it was just too wet and mushy to fit it all in. I would highly recommend working with this lovely couple, who made me and my husband so welcome and we had a really good chat and laugh in the pub afterwards. Can't wait to see the finished images. Looking forward to the next shot.

OMG!! Where do I start with Martins reference 😉

Let’s open up a box off fireworks 🎇 💥💥💥💥💥💥 🎆 . Pop open a few bottles of champagne 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂and celebrate our first shoot . It went off with a Big Bang 💥💥.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Martin. Real down to earth geezer with a superb sense of humour 😊.

Pre shoot comms were hilarious at times . I sensed that Martin had the same sense of humour I have . So I knew we’d get on like a house on fire 🔥.

Martin and Dawn took me to a fantastic location. It was a wooded area with a lovely avenue as soon as you walk into the woods . The area where we were shooting had beautiful colours and textures . Me being a brownie I blended in with all the lovely colours

Once we got to the spot Martin and Dawn really liked . The madness began haha 😂. I couldn’t wait to get my kit off . I gave them both an arse view first ha ha 😂😉. The first set we did was ART RUDE. That style suited me completely lol. I got myself tucked into a hollow tree trunk and started my mad antics hee hee. I had both Dawn and Martin in stitches with my mad behaviour. That’s what to expect of me as they both fully know 😂😉.

Martin and Dawn brought along a bag of crazy props to use . I had my bag of stainless steel hardware. F..k the bag was heavy. Poor ole Martin had to carry it for me . 😊😊. I had a good ole rummage in Dawns bag . OMG I found some SKUNK SPUNK glasses and some barbed wire. I dressed myself with the 2 props . Then the real fun began. I’d turned into a raving lunatic lol 😝. I’m not sure what the both of them thought off me . They we’re both laughing as much as I was . I couldn’t believe how I was behaving. We all definitely had a fantastic day. They brought a stove along so that we were able to have coffee to keep the caffeine levels high haha . Dawn brought some lovely cookies 🍪 which I kinda finished the whole packet. Oops lol greedy piggy I am . As the day went by the temperature turned really cold. I was happy to carry on shooting although I was turning blue . So Martin and Dawn put a stop to the shoot . I wonder what I’d look like if I was actually blue . I’m a strange lady eh haha 😆😂. I know they both really wanted to shoot my hardware . We couldn’t do it in the woods unfortunately as it was getting bitterly cold.We totally smashed our shoot . Looking at the back of the camera I was happy with what I saw. Well apart from my dirty bum haha 🤣

Enough of my rambling as I could go on all day .

I absolutely loved working with Martin . Fantastic sense of humour great personality . Just an round chilled out top geezer who I now class as my friend 😊. He’s a very talented young lad lol 😆 ,extremely professional and has a real passion for photography. 👍. I’ve never had so much fun in shoot before today . I think we spent more time laughing then shooting . 😊😉👍

Now for the last bit lol . I know Martin will be laughing once he reads this bit 😊😉😝

First shoot with Martin and his partner Dawn yesterday. Arrangements went very smoothly and they'd done a great job scouting outdoor locations and acquiring some cool props. I was treated with kindness and consideration, and was grateful for the hot tea Martin rustled up now and then on his camping stove! Both were full of ideas and enthusiasm and very easy to get along with. I have no hesitation in recommending them to any model and I hope we'll work together again. Thanks to you both!

Had my 1st shoot with Martin out on location yesterday. We shot fetish wear in the viaduct and the local woods. Although the day was lovely and bright, it was so cold! Hopefully we've managed to capture some great images. Martin is a perfect gentleman, funny, friendly and chatty, lovely to work with. I recommend Martin 100%.

Had quite a cool shoot with Martin at my home yesterday. He wanted to shoot something he hasn't before - bodyscapes... He was up for all ideas and really experimented with angles and composition, he let me get on with posing and together there were some great shots that will look really striking. He's laidback and polite, the perfect gentleman and definitely somebody I would highly reccomend.

Well what can i say!! After speaking with Martin for quite some time i finally got to shoot with him today and was definately worth waiting for!!

Weather wasn't on our side but we still soldiered on as best as we could.

Martin is such a truely lovely guy,very friendly and made me feel so comfortable from the word go.

Looking forward to travelling up to him next time for our next shoot.

I have had a couple of shoots with Martin and his lovely wife now. Both are lovely down to earth wildlife photographers making the move/jump into model photography. Martin has his own ideas and is also happy to try suggestions. Easy to work with, passionate about his photography and a genuinely lovely chap.
