Meeting Martin was like meeting an old friend- we had relaxed morning shooting in my garden and time just flew by! We ended up with lots of great images and I can’t recommend Martin enough as a great photographer and artist / painter .

Had my first shoot with Martin and what a gentleman he is.

Martin made me feel relaxed, was patient and generous with advice and enthusiasm to help boost confidence. He is light-hearted with a great sense of humour and easy to get on with.

Martin is an artist too, and his preferred shots are more natural poses which he can paint from and which worked well for me.

We are already discussing ideas for future shoots, when the weather is warmer, to explore a couple of outdoor locations in Dorset and the New Forest.

I can highly recommend Martin and look forward to working with him again.

I had a great outdoor shoot with Martin recently.

The weather was the only not nice fact about it.

But we both found good shooting locations sheltered from the wind.

Martin was amazing when it came to finding the best adjustments; he always told me honestly if the conditions were just not right at a certain place.

He was also so lovely to treat me to tea and snacks during our city shoot.

I‘m very much looking forward to see the outcome of the shooting.

On top he promised me a drawing of the best picture, which I cannot wait to see.

I had the pleasure of working with Martin and Inga, his art student, at a beautiful hotel in Portsmouth. Pre-communications were great and Martin made sure I understood exactly what the aims of the shoot were (to capture some great images for himself and Inga to paint). The shoot itself flew by, conversation and jokes flowing between the three of us, just a genuinely lovely atmosphere to work in. We created some wonderful images and I cannot wait to see the paintings they will make! Something that never usually comes to mind when using PP is post-comms, but I must say that Martin has been an absolute star, giving me a lovely review, great feed back and going above and beyond by getting me signed with a modelling agency.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS TALENTED, KIND PHOTOGRAPHER AND ARTIST.

Shutterworks Studio

Martin approached us to hire Shutterworks Studio last weekend. He was friendly in all comms and we did an initial lighting set-up for his half-day shoot. We would gladly welcome Martin back to our studio anytime :)
