Dust to Dust

This was a fun image to take and involved 5 different lights and 3 people to make it happen. Bex, the wonderful model, could not actually hold this pose, she actually had to fall into it, whilst at the same time remembering to shake her head to get the flour to fall from her hair, drop flour from her hand and to keep her head and arm relaxed whilst falling, we did it many times before it was as we wanted it. At the same time Brian, owner of The Cottage Studio, was up a ladder throwing flour into the air above Bex and had to time his throw such that it hit Bex at the exact moment she at the right part of her fall. When all this was done, all I had to do was press the shutter button at the right time...and this was the result.
