References for Maleficent

I'm delighted to leave Maleficent her 101st reference. Shame I can't think of a Dalmatians connection, I'll have to make do with making sense.

I'm equally delighted to have been this splendid young ladies first shoot since she's relocated. By my standards we arranged this shoot pretty quickly, but despite doing so, courtesy of Maleficent's great comms, I believe we had a pretty darn clear idea of what we were going to do, witness the pace we could sustain through the shoot.

Her images show just how great Maleficent looks, they don't show how much fun she is to work with. She's very pleasant, very smart and funny. I'm not sure if laughing at my attempts at humour is a good or bad thing, but she does. so that's a win in my books. Moreover I'm delighted with the images and am enjoying editing them. I'm already pondering what we might do next time!

Maleficent is now based hereabouts in the South East, there's a whole raft of new photographers who will get the opportunity to work with this excellent model.

This was my second shoot with Mal (this time, a fashion shoot), and as expected she was thoroughly professional.

Working with a less experienced male model, she really helped to make him feel at ease.

This didn't distract her from her own job, and she moves effortlessly between poses - the only direction I needed to give was to set the mood, and ... off she went.

Mal's really easy to work with, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable shoot.

I'm more than happy to recommend Maleficent, and would love to work with her again.

Maleficent was a great model to work with. Had my first shoot with her and it worked out really well. Pre coms were very good and she always answered quickly. Showed up in time and prepered for the shoot. She is a lovely person and a beautiful model to work with. Would recommend for other photographers to book a shoot with her.

Mal replied to a casting of mine recently and after looking through her portfolio it quickly became apparent that she was ideal for it.

Communication was top drawer as we sorted out timings and outfits.

On the shoot she came with make-up done and was changed promptly to maximise our effective time.

Being that my main focus was learning to work with a new camera system, Mal displayed great patience which helped me relax and think about equipment.

Finally, her ability to flow through poses autonomously enabled be to concentrate on my new equipment make for a highly productive shoot.

Thoroughly recommended.

Best of all Maleficent has a really wide ranging versatility to her looks which are further emphasised through her accomplished posing. Consistently produces some great images and is very highly recommended, certainly one of my favourite models to work with.

I recently worked with Mal on a studio day, at the Natural Light Space studio. Wow. what can I say, she's completely awesome to work with, so professional and really easy to get on with.

We nailed so many of the photographers shots, first time, so we gelled really well together.

I was honoured, that I was the first male model she had worked with and look forward to working with her again.

This was my third shoot with Maleficent, and as with both times before, she delivered in abundance. We did two hours of solo work followed by two hours with a male model (Darren S), and throughout the whole time Maleficent was spot on with her posing. She works well with the light, both artificial and natural, and she takes onboard any theme that she is given and she makes it her own.

Fully recommended, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with Maleficent again!

This beautiful young lady is very talented and patient (working with me she has to be). My first time shooting with her (and Darren S) and she gets the poses spot on straight away. In 2 hours we did 5 completely different sets and still had 30 mins to spare (which shows how quick I got the shots I wanted).

Have worked with Georgia twice now and she has been wonderful! Highly recommend :) She was on time and even though we were short of a makeup artist which meant there were only one makeup artist and a lot of waiting around for the other models to be done, Georgia was very positive and did not complain at any moment about all the inconveniences. I had wanted to work with Mal for some time and have no idea why I didn’t organise a shoot sooner, my loss. Mal is a delight to work with, obviously a very beautiful young woman with the most amazing expressions which come mainly from her large intense blue eyes. She poses naturally and effortlessly, but also takes direction very well.

After two postponements, I eventually shot with Georgia last week at Image Red and the wait was worthwhile. Her pre shoot communications were excellent and she arrived on time at our meeting place with the outfits that we had discussed and a few more.

Georgia has the most amazing blue eyes and pale skin, ideal for some of the pre-Raphaelite like images that we created. She is a natural, who poses with ease, takes direction well and offers constructive suggestions. She takes an interest in the back of the camera and adjusts her poses when necessary. Georgia changes quickly so we got through lots of sets. Together we created some gorgeous images.

Above all, Georgia is a lovely person and a delight to work with so I hope to shoot with her again soon.

I shot with Mal today at SS Creative Studio near Birmingham. Mal is a fantastic model with amazing eyes that are a joy to photograph. She has a great Pre-Raphaelite look which makes for some beautiful images. She poses really well and takes direction effortlessly. Mal's pre-shoot comms were excellent, something I really do value. I would really love to shoot with Mal again soon and I highly recommend her. Thanks Mal.

Today I shot Maleficent, my fifth consecutive model in five days in Stoke on Trent …. most definitely a case of “Last but not least”.

Maleficent is a remarkably beautiful model with the air of a fairy-tale princess and wonderful pale skin, green eyes and stunningly long black hair. If you are looking for a Goth-style model, I could not imagine anyone better than Maleficent.

Maleficent brought a range of clothes with her and we shot a variety of costumes and styles. She did all her own posing with minimal direction from me.

I found Maleficent delightfully easy to work with; moreover, she’s a very interesting person indeed with a strong background in art and a Masters degree in art restoration. Even better, Maleficent was interested only in getting a good job done and was happy to go past the “formal” time to complete the shoot.

So, I would be happy to unconditionally recommend Maleficent to any photographer who is looking for an outstanding model to create some unique images.
