This was my first shoot with Maleficent at Openspace in Northants on her recent sold out studio day..

Even if you have only glanced at Maleficent's portfolio you will not be surprised to hear that she is professional,creative,graceful and stunningly beautiful and a delight to capture in your lens should you get the chance.

But what you won’t know is that she is also good company,very relaxed chatty and a pleasure to work with.

I spent a very productive and enjoyable 2 hrs a week last sunday.We had a great laugh too throughout which always helps and "magnificent" Maleficent is whole heartedly recommended to photographers of all abilities by myself as you will get some amazing results.

Had my second shoot with Maleficent after enjoying the first shoot so much. This time we planned a shoot in a field of lavender which turns out to have been on one of the hottest days of the year, Thankfully we booked the evening to shoot so it was more manageable. pre shoot planning was spot on and Maleficent arrived with beautiful make up, not just the simple purple I had requested but with perfectly placed gemstones too which really brought so much more to the shoot. She poses with effortless grace and a real drive to make sure the shot is perfect. I really enjoy shooting with this incredible model and so delighted she’s agreed to do some tutorials with me and some other projects on the table for Autumn

Shoot numero trois for the awesome Maleficent and I, with a big, covid induced gap in between the first two and this one. And, just like before, it was super.

Maleficent has a great eye for styling, looks amazing as is very evident from her images, communicates really well, and is a generally all round nice person to work with. Given we could only shoot when she'd finished work then travelled out to Maidenhead, we didn't have the longest of shoots, but covered a lot of ground and styles, largely due to Mal's quick change capability and great posing!

Thanks for a super shoot, have to think about what we might do for round 4! Highly recommended

Maleficent is one of those models I have wanted to shoot with for around 4 years, what with cover and things going on it didn't quite happen as soon as I'd have liked. I knew I wanted to work with her based on her previous work ( Horrify me in particular because feel people who embrace that sort of work are very open to creativity and creative themselves ) So imagine my absolute delight when we finally penciled in a date!. pre comms were excellent, very organised. She arrived on perfect time and already beautifully made up. although we were shooting corsets for a company she still came with plenty of choices as well as the pieces carefully chosen to match the corsets.

positive and upbeat attitude and endless energy as we did machine gun through our shoot making sure we had lots of wonderful photos :-)

It goes without saying i think she is wonderful and cant wait for our next shoot, already in the planning

Although we have known each other for a while, our first opportunity to shoot together rolled around only last weekend. I'm so glad we waited for the right concept because in collaboration with Subject to Status and Osh Veda, the images we created were a perfect translation of what was in my head. She came with a good wardrobe, fully understood the mood and character that was to be expressed, and posed flawlessly. Not to mention she's a joy to be around. So looking forward to doing more together in future.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Maleficent yesterday. She is a beautiful model who is able to take direction but also pose freely. She is very friendly and laid back and it was very easy to build a rapport with her. I hope we can work together again sometime.

I had the opportunity to work with the lovely Maleficent at the Enchanted Evermore Viking shoot. She handled working with a small group of photographers with ease, providing a wide range of great poses. She remained in character throughout. Most certainly recommended

Very expressive with her face to convey powerful emotions, great jawline and piercing eyes.

I had a shoot with Mal last Sunday. We met at her home and the light was great that day. The place is bright and spacious and working there was a pleasure.

Mal is a fantastic model. Great posing and she is truly expressive, we got really good pictures. Pre-comms were excellent and she showed professionalism the whole time.

Mal is a really friendly person and the shoot was a very nice experience.

I absolutely recommend her and I hope we can work together soon.

Not long into our first club shoot at Studio Mexico for over a year, calm prevailed and Mal was creating magic with nuanced poses in a long red dress. She has a film actor’s appreciation of subtlety of expression, how less is more to a camera, she understands a brief and interprets it well, nailing the mood and a series of poses quickly, she is a delight to work with.

It was great to be back, and we took time to set up continuously lit moving backdrops, Mal patiently repeating poses until we’d got it right, just the right model for our return. The shoot had been arranged at short notice, pre-comms were excellent, Mal arrived promptly at the station we’d agreed to meet at, and when we arrived at the studio was into costume and made up very quickly for our first set up. Hopefully it won’t be such a long gap before we can work with her again.

Today was my first shoot with the lovely Mal. We had arranged an earlier date but re-booked as the Salisbury train crash stopped all rail journeys, but Mal determinedly took to the rails, today arriving in the first snowstorm of the year. She is an excellent model, and came with the outfits we had discussed before, and helped create both classical scenes from Norse mythology and some more Gothic work with her own wardrobe. She is easy to work with, pleasant to be with and determined to get good results. Definitely a lady with whom to do more creative work again.

Since shooting with Maleficent once before (in a tree house at a Creativity Hub event earlier this year) I'd wanted to undertake a longer, more varied shoot with her. So when she put up a casting call showing availability on a week day I jumped at the chance.

The shoot was at her place, which is easy to get to, and it really is a great place to shoot with spectacular views which you can work into the photos. We shot a variety of outfits, her sense of styling is superb, and she certainly knows how to pose to get a good picture. She was also very happy to go with my ideas as well as her own, and the whole shoot was a positive experience from start to finish.

I will happily shoot with Maleficent again in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending her to you as well.

I had previously shot with Maleficent briefly at a Creativity Hub event. This inspired me to arrange a longer shoot with her. I'm so glad I did!

Maleficent is an absolute pleasure to work with. We shot from her home so had a wide range of outfits to choose from. She looked fabulous, with great posing and wonderful expressions. I felt very relaxed and comfortable shooting so our time flew by very quickly. I'm very pleased with range of images I took away and looking forward to editing them soon.

I hope we get to shoot again. Highly recommended.

I had the great pleasure of working with Mal for the first time at a multi-model location shoot, in group and solo sets - all of which she totally rocked.

Her luxurious long dark hair beautifully compliments her fair complexion and she models with poise and precision.

Mal follows direction well and is equally good at flow posing on her own so I can highly recommend her to photographers of all levels

It was a shame that we only had a short time to shoot together; I could take photos of her face all day! She's beautifully expressive and very easy to work with.
