References for Studio 42

I had such a fun shoot today at Stephen's home. He picked me up at the station and even sourced an outfit and accessories for our shoot.

Stephen was really easy to model for and had some great ideas for shots. He demonstrated great lighting techniques which resulted in some awesome shots and had all his equipment ready for when we arrived at his home studio.

He was really interested in my ideas too.

My second shoot with Stephen and i loved it just as much as the first.

Hes a real gentleman who has some wonderfully entertaining stories to tell over cups of tea! Stephen knows what he wants from an image and was very good at directing me to achieve his vision. He also has some very unique and interesting ideas that have been a lot of fun to play around with.

Stephen's home studio is also incredible and a very safe, fun place to shoot!

Cant wait to see the images from the shoot and work with Stephen again! :)

I had a shoot with Stephen last week at his lovely home / studio!

He was very friendly and was a good first initial meet! We eased in with a chat about some ideas of what we wanted to capture over a cup of coffee!

Was all a bit go with the flow as it was our first shoot together but has some amazing areas to shoot perfect backdrops for portrait stuff lovely modern kitchen lounge and bathroom etc!

We shot for only 2 hours so was limited with time but I definitely saw from the back of the camera that we got some really cool shots! Stuff I was after as well as some awesome retro inspired looks influenced by Stephen who had some fun props ready to hand!

Look forward to if/when we get time to shoot again! Thanks again Stephen! :)

I had my first shoot with Stephen today, and it went really well! The pre comms were excellent, and we were able to plan some cool ideas between us. Stephen is a great host and was good company throughout the shoot. He gave clear direction and I love the way the images have turned out! I would happily recommend working with Stephen and would love to shoot with him again soon :)

I worked with Stephen last Friday at his home Studio on a shoot; we did 3 different looks and I cannot recommend him enough. He was friendly, professional and very accommodating to both me and the model throughout the shoot. We discussed the plan for the shoot before we started and we all seemed to be on the same page about what we wanted out of the shoot in terms of look, style and theme. I would love to work with Stephen again in the near future.

I shot with Stephen for the first time today and I will most definitely be shooting with him again.

Stephen picked me up in a nearby town as I couldn't travel to him and drove me to his gorgeous studio home in Andover.

He was extremely accomdating, instantly offering me tea and discussing what we both expected from the shoot.

Stephen gave me a private room to change in, with a bathroom as well which was fab and would regularly give his advice on what style/clothing would suit the images best.

He was full of funny stories and anecdotes and constantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. Stephen was great at giving direction but also allowed me to 'freestyle' it when appropriate.

We even stopped for lunch and he made me cheese on toast!

Stephen also sent me the images back the same day and they look fantastic!

Thank you for such a great shoot Stephen!

Had the honour of being able to apply Makeup to my model today in this gorgeous home studio. Stephen was so welcoming, friendly and could not have been more accommodating. His photography skills are outstanding, and every shot captured the makeup perfectly. His home is beautiful, he made us lunch and more tea than I could handle! Can’t wait to work with him again.

I worked with Stephen again recently but this time at my home and had an absolute BLAST! The first time I met Stephen I worked at his beautiful home, so it was lovely to work from mine this time around!

Stephen is so lovely to work with- very down to earth, kind, respectful and super FUN! He came to the shoot with lots of creative ideas but equally is very happy for the model to express themselves how they wish, which I really appreciate! Stephen creates a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere to shoot from and as a result every shoot is very enjoyable.

I really look forward to seeing the results and hope we work together again soon! Helen x

I shot with Stephen today at his lovely home in the countryside. It was beautiful. He was amazing and very kind and professional. He made drinks and lunch and looked after us. Really enjoyed the shoot. We tried three different looks that were brilliant. The pics Stephen took were awesome and can't wait to work together again. Highly recommended.... great guy x

I worked with Stephen few days ago on a 3hr shoot at his home. My husband drop me off and Stephen was welcoming to both me and my husband, inviting him in for tea and a chat together.

Stephen was laid back, easy going and nice company throughout the shoot.

We shot lots of retro looks and some lovely images wearing hats, using studio lights and natural light.

I Had my second shot with Stephan this time at his house.

Stephan had some ideas he had given me in pre comms so I could plan outfits. On the shoot we went through a whole variety of ideas which all came out really well. I really look forward to seeing the results! Some great ideas. Stephan even made me food and lots of Coffee!

I had a great first shoot with Stephen at his home today .

Upon arrival I was made to feel welcome and at home straight away, he was a great host offering me several cups of tea throughout the shoot and we had a chat about shoots and ideas he wanted to try.

We had a great 4 hour shoot which just flew by and were really lucky to have lots of amazing natural light,

He has a beautiful clean and warm home which has loads of windows so perfect for natural light shots , and we experimented with some different lighting and backdrops .

Stephen is really down to earth and makes you feel relaxed and at ease , we worked well together, regularly reviewing the images To see that we got some great ones and he created some stunning shots which I love .

He is very kind and even cooked me a healthy little snack before I headed back on my journey home which was really thoughtful and appreciated.

I would highly recommend him to other Models , and I’m looking forward and planning our next shoot :)

I worked with Stephen for the first time today and had a blast! It was our first time working together and I am always a little nervous but from the start of the shoot Stephen was professional, very respectful and fun to work with!

We had a lovely 4 hours/half a day together running through a variety of fashion to art nude in my home, with great banter and laughter! Stephen arrived with lighting and a backdrop which was super useful.I really liked the lighting set up and the photos looked beautiful!

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen as part of my Cotswolds tour.. so glad we got the chance to shoot together!

Stephen was super easy to get on with and welcomed me into his home studio.. he has lots of rooms to work in and equipment, along with plenty of ideas we could’ve gone on shooting a lot longer!

We shot a range of beauty, portrait, lingerie and fashion. We decided on the looks we were going to prior to the shoot, He left me to pose myself as he was looking for natural shots that displayed more of “me”.

Throughout the shoot he offered me plenty of cups of tea and even to buy me lunch when we finished.. he knows how to keep a model happy!

The shots we got this first time were excellent.. I can’t wait for the next time. We already talked about ideas for a spring time shoot!

I’d reccomend working with Stephen if you’re down near him :) some of my favourite recent portraits are the ones we’ve shot looking forward to adding them to my portoflio..

Well what a first shoot!

Me and Stephen got on from the moment we met which led to a very relaxed and fun shoot with great results from the get go!

He was calm, professional and very clear when expressing his ideas and directions in posing.

The shoot went very quickly and I look forward to welcoming him back to the studio again soon to resume our creativity.

I have had a couple of shoots with Studio 42 at his home..he has all the kit and was prepared with ideas. The second time I brought a few props which we explored. We used a mix of natural light and his lighting and got some great results.

He was friendly and made me a good beef sandwich and we communicate on WhatsApp about shoots. I have made a friend!
