Met up with Lucy after a gap of 9 years! Just checked in references!! Where does the time go!

She had a great wooded location local to her and we had a lovely morning catching up and shooting.

Comms were good and hopefully it won’t be so long until our next shoot!

Great to catch up with Lucy last weekend after 12 months or so since our last shoot. Lucy arrived at the studio with outfits to match the briefs and we worked through a number of different sets. As always, Lucy did super quick changes between sets. She is so easy going and great to work with. We got some super images.

Ace first shoot with Lucy. Great communications up front and throughout, Lucy rocked up with a good selection of outfits and styles with her makeup looking fab. She's super easy to work with smart, chatty, elegant, perceptive, expressive, and easily gets gist of whatever scenario or theme you're featuring.

Great in both stills and video.

Hoping to see more of her. Very highly recommended!

I had a great few hours shooting Lucy.

From the first contact to the day of the shoot communication was very good, she arrived on time and was very anthracitic to start shooting once we had a look around the studio.

Lucy made a great evert to pose as requested and added her own input, in the 2 hours we were shooting she put 100% into the shoot.

What can i say other than what an amazing model, had a shoot this weekend gone with Lucy, she is an energetic and down to earth person that wants to get the best shot possible, she poses expertly and is open to all of your ideas even when taps get in the way haha, couldn't recommend Lucy enough if your on the fence on booking her get off it and get a shoot organised!

I had my first shoot with Lucy on Saturday at Studio 4. Pre-comms were great and Lucy is straight forward, down to earth and very easy to get along with. We only shot a couple of hours but covered quite a bit of ground in our time together. Lucy was just as happy shooting studio and natural window light and she was very patient, as I was using a manual focus lens throughout. Lucy's experience as a model and studio owner shines through in her approach to the shoot and the varied and expressive poses she uses. We managed some great images and I would highly recommend to all photographers. Thanks Lucy :)

In response to a very last minute casting call put out by myself I was fortunate enough to have Lucy apply. Communications were great, simple quick responses with a hint of humour made me immediately feel that we were going to get on and I was right.

Lucy arrived clutching a bag with agreed clothing and her trusty Louboutin heels 👠 and wow did she meet all my expectations.

After quick discussions around what I wanted to cover Lucy was ready to go and delivered some great modelling ensuring I got the images I was after.

Lucy put up with my attempts at trying new lighting styles and was really patient and also offered ideas of her own which were helpful and greatly received.

I would recommend Lucy to any level photographer and she gets a 100% recommended rating from myself.

This lady is the real deal! Her experience, banter and fluidity of posing allied to a look that makes a liar of any ageing process being an actual thing! This lass could model 12 year old clothes or full on Dom/cosplay/girl next door/page 3 glamour or cosmetics/beauty and every possible genre on the spectrum and in the process makes it seem effortless and has fun which manifests itself in the finished image.

I’ve worked with hundreds of models and few have come anywhere near the shoot experience this lady brings to the table.

Book her. Empty your offshore account but shoot her. She’s not just a star she’s a supernova outshining all others in the galaxy

It was a real pleasure to work with Lucy Starr at her wonderful studios DenbyStarr Studios. It had been a while since I had worked in studios, but Lucy was very helpful explaining all the marvellous array of equipment available for use.

Lucy is a very experienced and friendly model, who rapidly understood the images I was hoping to shoot, and worked very hard to secure them.

Pre-communications were excellent, and the shoot flew by all too quickly, only touching upon the myriad of options for shooting in her studio home.

I worked with Lucy for the first time today and she was very professional, her communications before the shoot were great, she even messaged me to check hairstyling in advance! When I arrived she was ready to shoot with hair and makeup and nails done to a high standard all ready to go!

Lucy was very easy to talk to and direct and gave me exactly what I was after! She was also very patient whilst I experimented with various set ups. Overall it was a great shoot and I can't wait to go through the images! I would love to work with Lucy again and highly recommend her to other photographers!

On Tuesday of this week, I did my first ever shoot on my own so was obviously very nervous. I had actually met Lucy the day before at DenbyStarr studios when I introduced myself and had a discussion about what I want to do regarding portrait shoots. I then arranged a shoot with Lucy for Tuesday and to say she was very helpful would be an understatement. She was very friendly and talked me through the shoot, even suggestion the different areas of the studio to use, I had a really good time with her, and can't thank her enough for all the help she gave me. I would definitely recommend Lucy to any photographer who wants a fun shoot but she is also very professional. Marks out of 10? Easily a 10.
