If you are going to have your nude modelling cherry popped, then you couldn't wish for a better photographer to do it than Miss Rose.

There are some very good reasons why I prefer to stay behind the camera - not least the fact that I am a fifty-plus fatty, so not exactly photogenic.

So why did I change the habit of a lifetime and pose nude? Because she asked. Well actually, she didn't ask me to pose nude specifically; that was my suggestion (but for a very good reason).

Miss Rose is currently shooting a project for her Fine Art Degree and the subject is the photographers who are photographing her. There are only so many photos you can have of photographers pointing cameras before the curiosity of "what the model sees" becomes less interesting, so I decided that if I was to pose for her I would have to give something more.

I thought about the challenges models face and thought it would be more thought-provoking to force the photographer to become the model. I was trying to think of what I could do to add something more than another old git with a camera to her project, whilst we were wandering the shops with my wife. The banter was flying thick and fast and jokes about my belly looking like I was pregnant morphed into jokes about me doing a pregnancy shoot. Instantly the light bulb went on. I had a feeling that Miss Rose had thought of the same thing but was too polite and frankly too nice to actually ask me to do it, so I volunteered it.

It was when we wandered into a charity shop and found some baby shoes that the idea began to take shape. A twisted interpretation of the clichéd nude baby bump shoot was the plan. Then the fear hit me - I am an overweight 54 year old man and not exactly body confident: could I really cope with being nude, not only in front of someone infinitely more photogenic than me but also in front of the audience for her images. Fortunately for Miss Rose, she is one of those genuinely lovely people whom you instantly feel comfortable around, so I figured if I was going to do this for any photographer it would be her.

When it came time for the shoot, I thought I would be more terrified than at any time in my life but Miss Rose was so relaxed and professional that I actually didn't feel embarrassed at all. I really enjoyed the shoot and we laughed throughout, as the baby shoes kept rolling off my rotund torso. Instead of thinking about embarrassment, I gained a new appreciation for the effort that art-nude models have to make when holding a pose for the photographer.

The back of camera images look great and I think she achieved what she wanted and the feedback from my wife when she saw the images has been very positive. I am actually quite proud to be part of her project and look forward to the feedback (and inevitable ridicule from friends and family) when she shows the final edits.

To sum up - Miss Rose is a thoroughly professional photographer and if she can put me at ease enough to actually enjoy a first art-nude modelling experience, then that says it all.

On top of all that, she's just such a lovely person to be around. It's hard to believe that this was only the second time we had worked together because it just felt like a creative laugh with an old mate.

Loooads of love for this lady. Miss Rose contacted me...me?! We shot on a seriously cold day and expected a lot of fog, but the fog seemed to be thick and everywhere except for where we were in the Peak District. Having been on my side of the camera herself for years, Scarlot definitely has a fantastic understanding of what looks best for the female body depending on what you're wanting to achieve. She kept me warm throughout the whole shoot and even brought me a blanket to use to sit on! I thought she was incredibly talented having looked at a couple of raw shots and based on the direction that she gave. Always open to ideas, very considerate, creative, great communication before and after shooting, awesome personality...I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the hint.

You can always tell a professional model by the way she works, - confident, accomplished poser, flexible when obtaining the particular 'look' you are after and,last but not least,she has a lovely personality and looks fantastic. Well I feel so lucky to have met and worked with this fabulous lady!!

I was very honoured to work with Miss Rose at the Pit studio! Pre comma were great and I was very excited for this shoot as she sounded very lovely indeed and I was not wrong! such a down to earth genuinely lovely lady, whom I had lots of fun shooting with! We explored, we tried out props, we got very dirty, we even tried our hand at a bit of self art which was lots of fun indeed and we laughed lots!

Miss Rose is very creative indeed and it shows in her shots - she doesn't just go for your big standard straight shot, she tries to do a different take which I really Admire in a photogropher! The shoot was a huge, exciting collaboration and it was great to work with someone that was on the same creative level - eager to give anything a go! If it doesn't work, it doesn't work - that's the beauty of digital, but why, when it does, it does!! And I think we managed. Few of those crackers!!

Miss Rose has already produced some wonderful images land I must say her skills do not seem to end - amazing behind the camera, amazing intront of the camera and fabulous at processing images also!!

Had so much fun working with Miss Rose and I am so excited to be working with her more in the future!! Both as a photogropher and a model! We instant,y connected and work very well together!

I had the truly wonderful pleasure of shooting with Scarlot last week at The Pit, what a divinely mad yay talented woman she is!

Scarlot is also an artist and a model, and has taken to photography for her art work to paint, sketch, and even sew the image, besides primarily taking the shot to turn it into something else, her photography is simply stunning, she knows her camera, she knows her lights, and she knows what she wants to achieve, and I guarantee you will have fun whilst shooting!

She arrived early to pick me up from the train station, and she gave me time to relax and unwind from the journey once we got to The Pit, we talked through her ideas making sure to get everything she needed for her next project. There isn't any sitting on the fence with Scarlot she wanted to get some innocent ballet shots and art nude ones, and then move on to some more erotic work with art nudes and lingerie, and we sure did get them, I've already seen a few shots from the shoot and I'm so blown away, the lighting, the details, her direction just all meld into one and we created some fabulous work.

Would I recommend this lovely lady, by golly I would, and I can't wait for the next time, so get booking now before she's busy!

I had a shoot with miss rose for the first time at lpphotografix studio we did low key and a 50s dinner set she is new to being this side of the camera but she dose know what she wants and is not afraid to say or ask to make sure she gets it. I think she will do well as a photographer and I think any model would really enjoy working with her she comes highly recommend from me. I had the pleasure of modelling for Miss Rose yesterday at LP Photografix Studios and I enjoyed every second of it! I had never done any lingerie/topless shoots before but she made me feel very comfortable, she made sure I was happy with what I was doing. Miss Rose being an experienced model she happily gave me advice, ideas and tips, she was very easy to talk to/have a laugh with, even just in general conversation. She showed me photos as we went through different outfits and allowed me to contribute ideas and shared opinions throughout the shoot. She was very quick with showing me unedited photos after the shoot, allowing me to choose my favourites for her to edit and the photos look great! Considering she is usually the one modelling, the photos came out brilliantly and she did a great job! I would highly recommend working with Miss Rose and I would love to shoot with her again! x
