References for Laurence

I've been very lucky to have the pleasure of working with Laurence on several occasions now, and we worked together again on Wednesday for what was, I think, our fourth time. Laurence has great ideas for shoots- last time we worked with reptiles- and this time he suggested a body painting shoot. Pre- shoot communications were excellent- the shoot was arranged far in advance, and Laurence made a dropbox of possible images- we eventually settled on doing a bridal theme, with a white corset to be painted on my torso.

Despite many setbacks and obstacles to this very well planned shoot- Laurence had to contend with an MUA backing out, and with train strikes threatening to jeapordize everything- we persevered, with Laurence kindly picking me up at the train station after an horrendous journey. Laurence kindly provided sustenance for both the MUA and I in the painstaking makeup preparation for the shoot- which he got some lovely behind the scenes shots of - Sylvie, the makeup artitst, did a beautiful job on the corset. Something new I learned about Laurence- he speaks Norwegian! He was speaking to Sylvie in Norwegian, and he explained that he learned the language as a courtesy to the people of Norway, because he travels there. Which I think says a lot about the kind of person Laurence is. Well, that and the fact he loves cats, and works with the Cats Protection League. He is, obviously, a great guy. :)

Laurence also kindly let me review the images on the back of the camera during and at the end of the shoot. There are some beautiful images there, and I look forward to seeing the results, and hopefully to working with Laurence again.

I had a wonderful shoot today with Laurence following very clear pre-shoot exchanges. He is a consummate professional - respectful with a great sense of humour and an easy going manner. He knew exactly what he wanted to capture and the time flew by all too quickly. I cannot recommend Laurence highly enough - it was a real pleasure to work for him.

Laurence is amazing, as he couldn't shoot me on my studio day I decided to stay an extra night so we can create some lovely images the next day.

Well he arrived on time, prepared with a great sense of humour and a big friendly smile.

As time went on I realised how much we have in common and we just couldn't stop chatting to each other that I was a little sad when our shooting time ended.

We made use of all the facilities the studio had to offer & he even brought a long my favourite biscuits.

With plenty of breaks and patience due to my mending broken ankle which has made me unable to walk, I really enjoyed working with him.

Highly recommend.

I had a shoot with Laurence on my 2 day studio day at cottage studio at the weekend ☺️ what a lovely charming person, with some great ideas and a fab attitude!! ☺️ i had a great time and another great studio to work at, i would highly recommend working with Laurence, he makes you feel safe and makes sure you are comfortable with all shots taken, and i cant wait until we show off some of our canadian day flag shots 😄 xx

We had 4 hours and it went so so fast

We did a number of different sets. Laurence brought some outfits and some flags which were lots of fun and looked great on the back of the camera

We had a laugh and a catch up all throughout especially speaking about our love for cats :)

I shot with Laurence last week at the Cottage Studio for the second time and had the most lovely shoot. I was late to our shoot due to the traffic but Laurence was an absolute gentleman about it!

He came along with some amazing ideas. We put our heads together and I think we've come out with some great results! Hes easy to work with, laid back, professional and a laugh to shoot with!

Would love to work with him again.

We got on so incredibly well right from the offset that I really cannot believe it was our first shoot, I felt like I had worked with him years!

We have lots in common so there was never a dull (or many quiet for that matter) moment, and I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with him.

I had the pleasure of working with Laurence yesterday at the cottage studio and had a fantastic time. Laurance was friendly, talkative and made me feel comfortable and relaxed when we started shooting. Laurence brought along some fantastic props and had some really creative and fun ideas for shooting. You can clearly see that he loves photography and really enjoys creating images. From what I've seen on the back of the camera, I'm very impressed with the photos and can't wait to see them! I would highly recommend Laurence to anyone and would love to work with him again. :)

Yesterday Laurence and I met for the 2nd time at the little chelsie gallery studios in Eastbourne. We shot for 4 hours and the time simply flew by. Laurence is so nice to work with and has some great ideas, and always made sure I liked the pictures on the back of the camera :) We shot some fashion, lingerie, art nude and of course the signature flags of Laurence :)

Pre-communication was first class as well :D

Highly recommended by me and I hope to work again with Laurence in the future :)

Artemis Fauna

I had a shoot with fellow cat lover Laurence during my studio day at The Cottage studio last weekend. We had a few specific ideas to work on but spent a lot of the shoot bouncing ideas off each other and Laurence was even the first person to shoot me doing some pole work!!

We did a lot of low key work to add something a bit different to Laurence's port and got some great images!

The images looked amazing on the back of the camera- the nudes we did rocked, the pole stuff looked super and we also had a go at the flag project- throwing some pole into the mixture too ;)

The shoot flew by and I can't wait to see the results go up!

I hope I can work with Laurence again one day! Thank you, Laurence :)

Shot with Laurance at fine and dandy studio in Woking.

He was waiting for me at the station and was very polite and tried to carry my bag. We had a nice conversation on the way to the studio and he made me feel very comfortable straight away which is great for our shoot.

We had a lot of different sets at the studio so the ideas just kept flowing! Laurance was a true gentleman and we had quite a few giggles.

We managed to go through quite a few looks in the space of time we had so we did really well!

Had a truly terrific shoot with Laurence yesterday at the Little Chelsea Gallery. Laurence is one of my favorite photographers to work with, partly because he comes up with brilliant ideas, as well as being such a genuinely great guy- but yesterday was an exceptional shoot. Laurence had the idea of working with reptiles, and other animals as well, and I jumped at the opportunity. I had the unusual experience of working with shooting with snakes, a raccoon, a tarantula, and meerkats! I loved it, and the photos Laurence kindly showed me as we went along looked fantastic. :) As always, Laurence was extremely considerate, and a real pleasure to work with. I hope I get to work with him again sometime.

Met Laurence for the first time today at "The Little Chelsea Gallery" studios. Laurence has a reptile themed shooting at the end of the month at the little chelsea gallery studios and wanted to test various different lighting techniques and poses so he is prepared for the reptile shooting at the end of the month ! He also brought with hime a lovely stuffed toy snake which helped me a lot with my poses.

Even tho the session wasn't much about getting good results the pictures on the back of the camera were lovely and I really liked the way Laurence frames the pictures !!!

Laurence is very friendly and a great professional to work with, down to earth and easy to work with :)

I hope to work with Laurence again in the future and I highly recommend him to all :)

I worked with Laurence on a recent studio day at Brians Cottage.

Laurence contacted me beforehand to brief me on our shoot and on the day he brought along a variety of flags for his project and some snacks (Yay!).

Laurence is so friendly, talkative and made me feel really comfortable the whole way through.

We managed to cover a lot but the time went so quickly (a sign of a great shoot!) yet it was still really relaxed.

I would highly recommend Laurence and hope to work with him again :)

I had the pleasure of working with Laurence just over a week ago whilst I was down on a little tour of Berkshire/West Sussex.

We arranged our shoot well in advance and was at Moments Studio in Redhill.

Laurence's pre shoot communication was fantastic and he let me know of all his ideas for the shoot and anything I needed to bring which was very helpful.

I felt very comfortable working with him, he is a friendly and warm character and likes to chat as much as I do as we found we had several things in common.

He even brought along snacks for our shoot and then very kindly took me part of my journey down to West Sussex afterwards! Thank you!

I really enjoyed my shoot with Laurence, it flew by and I am very happy to recommend him to other models
