I worked with Laurence just before Christmas at the cottage studio and I have to say we had so much fun!

It was my first time working with Laurence but I felt we got on so well. He had plenty of ideas in mind and we worked together to get some awesome images.

I also got to be part of his flag series that hes has been working on which i loved!

I'm really looking forward to working with Laurence again in June.

I had a lovely shoot with Laurence this week. His pre shoot comms were perfect, I knew exactly what to expect, and he was completely understanding when I got stuck in traffic and it cut our shoot time short.

We spent most of the time talking which was really nice as he's a lovely character, and a really good person to talk to. The short shoot we had really flew by, and I was very well watered and fed throughout. Very much recommended by me and I can't wait to see him again in future!

Laurence and I managed to fix a shoot together on my recent tour of Sussex, it was my first ever visit to The Little Chelsea Gallery studio which was exciting and came by Laurence's recommendation. Our shoot was whilst I was on a tour so when we were organising/fixing a day, my dates were quite limited with my scheduled movement but Laurence was really helpful and communicated well to fix the date in plenty of time to allow me to organise my travels around our shoot. This epic organisation continued to on the shoot day as he rocked up prepared with very interesting shoot items he had sourced himself with a beautiful look and also yummy snacks to keep us going through the creative process! Here's a gent who really goes that extra mile to look after his models and make them feel content on a shoot. :)

We're off to a fabulous beginning, then we start making pictures after the grand tour of the beautiful venue by Tim: we begin in the dark room downstairs and Laurence set up some beautiful lighting that exerted tremendous mood in the set. :) It's simple things like being creative with how the light kisses a simple chaise-lounge set which make all the difference to an image and I knew within the first 15 minutes of shooting together that Laurence had a stupendous artistic eye. :)

So after getting all excited about the first set which was well and truly in the bag we then proceeded to work our way smashing many more beautiful images around the studio and albeit covering lots of different shoot "styles" as it were. A photographer can be versatile just as a model can be because the angles they choose and the lighting the sculpt plays a huge part in the look of an image. Even if the pose is the same! Laurence was very talented and created dynamic moods using both natural light and controlled light which made him a true pleasure to work with as it really gave me positive vibes that he was showing this enthusiasm and thus confidence in our teamwork. :)

Laurence is also a truly delightful gentleman. We broke into a marathon of chatting straight away and routinely spent the breaks laughing and discussing all manner of topics... It's amazing all the elaborate things you can end up chattering about on a shoot because you meet such interesting people from all walks of life, each with a story and Laurence is a genuinely interesting person and such a happy-natured person too. :) The all-round environment in which our shoot took place was bursting with spirit and it was just a very good day indeed!

On top of this, Laurence delievers no less than true professionalism towards his models. he's very polite and well mannered and respectful at all times. I felt very comfortable working together (almost like we had worked together before) and wouldn't hesitate for a single moment to recommend him to other models. :) I really look forward to working together again soon. :)

I was so lucky to work yet again with the lovely Laurence, which is, I think our third time shooting together in the past 3 months, when he kindly booked the first slot in my duo studio day with Olivia Rose. Laurence is always super- creative, as Olivia is, too, and we had fun shooting some new additions to Laurence's "flags" series, as well as making use of some of the props at Photo39 studio- this time we used the classical colonnade. The 4 hours flew by far too quickly, and we unfortunately didn't get to do everything (he kindly indulged me in doing a few celebratory shots for Black Cat Day, and, as we are all three of us cat lovers, this was great fun), but Laurence was friendly, absolutely respectful and considerate (thoughtfully bringing us grapes and cookies to nibble on)and a total pleasure to work with, as always. Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again soon. :)

What a great first shoot I had with Laurence and Freespirit yesterday on our duo day at the cottage studio. Laurence is very friendly and easy to talk to and is just pleasant to be around. Four hours just flew by and we got so many different genres done from art nude, dance to even celebrating black cat day (as a fellow cat lover this was great fun) I would highly recommend working with him and I hope to shoot with him and and with with Freespirit too when I am next down South :)

I had the great pleasure in working with Laurence undertaking a lighting tutorial.

It was a real pleasure to work with someone who wanted to gain knowledge with such enthusiasm.

He is very friendly, humorous, respectful and easy to get along with and it is obvious from his working relationship with the model, Freespirit, that this extends to working with models.

Laurence is absolutely lovely. I can only second everything Joceline has said in her reference, in her praise of him. I've been fortunate to work with Laurence almost as many times as she has :),and it has always been a great pleasure and a privilege.

On this occasion, we were working on a lighting tutorial with the very kind and helpful Michael T, so we weren't as wildly creative as we tend to be- we had to be serious and focus on technical aspects of lighting, but it was still highly pleasureable. I found it educative for me as well- it was useful to break down the various forms of lighting and to experiment with its effects on my body- as Laurence very kindly and patiently let me see the results on the back of his camera as we went along. Laurence kindly picked me up and brought me back from the station- again dealing with traffic with his customary patience- and kept me fed with sandwiches and grapes- which is again characteristic of his kindness and consideration.

Highly recommended, of course. :) And I look forward to our next shoot, with the lovely Olivia Rose- where hopefully we can put the lighting skills into practice, and get wildly creative with flags. :)

Another shoot with Laurence and as usual was a true pleasure.

This time I got to partner up with my model wifey Tillie haha!

The 3 of us has such a fun morning, plenty of nattering and laughing in between sets and some wonderful images to show for it :)

Would without doubt recommend Laurence and hope to see him again next time :D

I just had my 10th shoot with Laurence! And as I expected, it was another lovely day. Laurence is a simply super person to spend the day with; engaging and curious and intelligent and interesting. And he always has ideas in mind, ensuring that the shoot is never just a random amble through my suitcase of clothing. I always look forward to seeing him, and have never been disappointed. Lovely, lovely man.

I shot with Laurence for two hours the last time I went to The Cottage Studio. Laurence is fantastic to work with, he's very creative and has fun ideas for us to try. I love his flag concept, it was a fun way to represent my country and play around.

Laurence is very friendly and encouraging of ideas. I would definitely recommend working with him. The shoot will fly by, you'll eat grapes and have a laugh.

I had a fantastic Shoot with Laurence on Monday during my Brighton tour. He booked me well in advance, knowing I was in the area with perfect pre coms!

Laurence was so fun to work with and such a lovely person. We shot outside and inside, making use of the studios private surroundings that the studio had to offer.

I knew from Laurence's messages that he was going to be a wonderful person and I was not wrong. We worked on different sets and produced a wide variety of images which I am looking forward to seeing.

I highly recommend working with Laurence and I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Shutter House Studios LTD

Laurence shot at the studio for 6 hours with Artemis Fauna and he's been a pleasure to work with! Very easy going and positive attitude, brought amazing cookies (which I happily finished) and fruit. He used different areas of the studio and props but made sure that everything was back in the right place when finished. Definitely recommended! Looking forward to have him back in the studio in the future!

Third shoot with Laurence- this time in North London at Shutter Studio.

We had six hours to play with and had a blast- as we always do!

The six hours were relaxed, but productive. I am very happy with the results we got and the time really did go rather fast!

Great choice of studio (and sandwiches) by Laurence too ;)

Bad Dolly

Today I finally got the chance to work with Laurence and boy I'm glad I did! Laurence is a talented photographer who is creative and full of ideas. He put my needs first at all times checking I was warm and comfortable, pre communication was great and from what I s aw on the back of the camera the shots are too!

The time just flew by, we tried a range of sets and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole shoot. Highly recommended to other models!

I had a fantastic first shoot with Laurence at The Little Chelsea Gallery. His communication was great and I knew what kind of looks and ideas we'd be going for.

He's very chilled out and relaxed, so we could have a good chat as well as shooting and he's absolutely full of ideas!

I got to work with Laurence again (almost exactly a year after our very first shoot) on my latest tour.

We shot at the Little Chelsea Studio in Eastbourne for half a day and had a great time. :)

The first half of the day was spent utilising the amazing natural light in the studio and we got some absolutely stunning mono images- I am very excited to see them :)

The second half we focused more on a studio feel with moody lighting/ cool fabric for me to get in and move about in and finishing up with Laurence's Easter animal friends! Hehe!!

We had a great time and I am looking forward to working with Laurence again. Thank you so much for being lovely! :)

I have known Laurence for some years now, a the previous owner of Moments studios i was very happy to welcome Laurence to my new summer studio, Rose Barn Studio.

This time Laurence brought Ariel Anderson with him, the day was relaxed and fun as usual.

I would recommend Laurence to any model, trustworthy, very polite, a true gentleman.

He also introduced me to Simon's Cat which I have to be eternally grateful for hahaha!!

Laurence is a legend... he was easy to arrange a shoot with, and really supportive... he contacted me to let me know there was issues with train strikes and that he was happy to pick me up from my base to get round this...what a gent.

As soon as he picked me up I felt at home, lovely and interesting guy and we chatted about all sorts. Really genuine and I felt very happy working with him on a variety of fun themes. Super-respectful and easy to shoot with, reviewed images as we went so I could respond accordingly and adjust poses to suit.

Definitely recommended by me, one of the good ones! Thankyou so much for making my tour a great one x
