This image was taken on the 16th May 1964 when 4472 visited Aberdeen on a special when she was first preserved. She is seen here leaving Aberdeen and just about to cross the River Dee by Ferryhill Sheds. Taken on 35mm film.

Now she is back after a break of 10 years and a £4.2 million overhaul. Not in LNER Apple Green livery this time though.
