Cammo Munroe

I wanted to recreate the Tom Kelley Marilyn Munroe red velvet images. Not so much recreate but pay homage to, instead of velvet, cammo netting and instead of the auburn hair of Munroe (or Norma Gene as she was then), the explosion of blue from Jodi. We set up the netting over a chaise lounge to give it form and Jodi asked me what she should wear. I said that in the original Munroe said all she wore was Chanel No.5, Jodi loved that and as I held up one of the Tom Kelley images she struck the poses. My hands were shaking afterwards, thrilled that the concept had come to life.
