As per Mick was so welcoming his per communication was brilliant with all outfits provided and set out in order, the day ran so smoothly with lots of fun, directions where perfect to as he new just what kind of shots he wanted, always showing the snaps throughout

I can not recommend Mick enough to any model, he is so professional and lovely! A real gentleman with a lot of passion for his work

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mick came back to Basford Hurst Cottage this week to shoot with three wonderful models for the day. It was a pleasure to welcome Mick back to Basford, all his pre comms were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed.

Throughout his time here at Basford he was completely respectful of our location and all the models he was shooting with that day. He made sure to ask if he ever needed anything and we do not know of another photographer with a bigger wardrobe than Mick!!!

Lots of lovely images were created during this shoot and we can't wait to see the final edits!!! We would highly reccomend Mick and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you so much for coming back to Basford Hurst Cottage!!

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Mick again this week at Basford Hurst Cottage. All pre comms with Mick were great and he arrived on time with so many outfits and accessories to play with, needless to say I knew we were in for another great shoot!!

Throughout our time together we worked through a number of sets, including some beautiful art nude images around the grounds and some more quirky styled images with a pink catsuit in the outbuilding!! Every time Mick was happy for me to pose freely but also provided direction of his own. He worked really hard to capture some wonderfully composed images and I was so happy with the back of the camera!!

Mick even sent me some edited images within 24 hours of the the shoot!! Efficient or what!!!

I would of course reccomend a shoot with Mick, he's a smashing guy with a real passion for creating great images. Thank you so much Mick and I look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Mick is a world class photographer! One of my first shoots with him, but it definitely won’t be my last!

Prior to the shoot, we discussed the type of images we wanted to create and the sort of clothing and story we wanted to convey. Mick told me about the rails of outfits that he had to hand, which in turn unraveled some further ideas and styles. I went to his home studio, where he had such an array of outfits, shoes, underwear and stockings - it was an absolute dream come true for any model! Mick had put a lot of effort into clearing and preparing his studio, so that we could have a blank slate to work from. I really appreciated his efforts.

Mick is so lovely, he immediately put me at ease, he is very easy going and such a gentleman that the shoot flowed really well due to our instant connection and rapport. Mick gave me hints and tips on posing and encouraged me to be confident and act on my own instincts about poses too.

Mick is magic with photography, he knows how to draw the best out in a model and captures their beauty and uniqueness in a very special way. He works the angles and his editing is perfection too.

I have no doubt that Mick and I will continue working together. He is an absolute gem and I thank my lucky stars that we were able to work together before he moved.

I was lucky enough to squeeze in a last minute shoot with Mick before his venture to Scotland.

I had followed his work for a while and was always hopeful that we would get a chance to work together so I was chuffed when we managed to find a spot where we could squeeze something in.

Mick organised the accomodation and was very chatty with me when it came to planning and we passed ideas back and forth and easily planned to shoot.

I found Mick to be very friendly, professional and prepared and the shoot was so laid back and easy. He'd brought lots of outfits for me to wear and we bounced off of each other the whole time.

Mick made me feel comfortable and maintained his professionalism throughout. I had everything I needed whilst there and he'd brought me some drinks prior to the shoot.

I would recommend anybody to work with this guy! 10/10 😁

Had a shoot with Mick today and what a fantastic shoot it was, as always Mick was as welcoming as ever, even had a coffee waiting for me as soon I got to his home shoot, Mick had a load of outfit already planned out which he provided with shoes, can I just say what a range of clothes costumes accessories he has to offer for his models, is mind blowing.

Mick is really friendly and fun, he loves his work, we work so well together getting the images we want, his directions are always helpful to get that pose which is what you need when your working together.

He's always polite and 100% professional, I would recommend any model to work with him. Even when he's moving upto Scotland soon I will definitely be heading up to work with him

Mick was wonderful to work with. He communicated really well with me and was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the station. We had a lovely chat with some coffee and he showed me the wonderful work he had previously done. Mick had a great selection of outfits including shoes, gloves, dresses, rompers, tops etc. He was great at directing me and helped me learn a lot about how I can improve. He was very well organised and overall just a wonderful man to have met. Hope to work together again in the future and recommend

What a great guy Mick is!

Great comms before, during and after our shoot.

Mick has an amazing array of garments to choose from where needed and his home studio set worked perfectly.

Mick constantly checked I was OK, offered me breaks, drinks and snacks and most importantly we got on really well making the shoot really fun.

Mick is laid back and a really easy person to get on well who gave me some great ideas and tips.

Loving the photos from our shoot which he has already sent me and I very much look forward to our next one!

Another amazing shoot with the talented Mick! On arrival at his home studio, Mick was enthusiastic and welcoming, and I knew instantly we were going to have a fun and productive shoot. He was well prepared with a range of beautiful clothing, accessories and hosiery picked out from his extensive wardrobe selection, and along with my own heels, we were able to put together some fantastic looks.

Mick has an instinctive eye for what makes a great image and gave impeccable direction as we went along, always mindful of my comfort levels. Styles varied from fashion to beauty portraits (our last shoot won a magazine front cover!).

His post-production speed is unmatched, and the images so far speak for themselves. If you get the chance to work with him, jump on it!

Having shot once before with Mick is was an absolute pleasure to see him again and work with him on another epic adventure of a shoot!!

This time we worked through many sets including some lingerie, fashion, a tennis set and even a set based on the music video to 'call on me' - That was a lot of fun!!!

Mick is so creative!! He always brings so much enthusiasm to the shoot, along with LOADS of outfits to work with!! He is fun to talk to and allows me to pose but is also happy to give some direction as needed.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mick came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Miss C in the morning and then with Helen and Jody in the afternoon.

We always look forward to welcoming Mick to Basford, he's so creative and brings lots of energy and enthusiasm to his shoots!! He is always respectful of our location and makes sure to look after the models throughout the shoot time.

Had my first waterfall shoot with Mick and what a great experience, even braved the cold water to get a brilliant hair flick image 😍 I can't recommend Mick enough to any model at any experience as he's 100% professional and passionate

Also friendly and we have a good laugh too.

We meet at MacDonalds which Mick kindly offered breakfast, then it was off to the peak District which was only a short walk to the location, we were very lucky with the weather, we did the bikini shoot first, then a little break and quick change for our fitness shoot for a up and coming gym wear brand called fitt squad, which Mick is their photographer,

I'm very proud to have been asked to become ambassador for them,as myself I have a passion for the gym.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mick came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Studio owner and resident model Miss C (Leanne).

Pre comms with Mick were great and everything was organised swiftly and easily. He arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot including an abundance of outfits, props and equipment.

Mick was completely respectful of our location at all times, making sure to ask if he needed anything. He is great to talk to, fun to have around, polite and a complete professional.

We have no hesitation to recommend Mick and really hope to see him again soon! Thank you Mick!!

Mick came to shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage and needless to say, after our pre comms I was really excited for the shoot!!

Mick had sooo many great ideas for the shoot, many of which we did manage to work through but we have loads left for another time too!! We worked through some art nude in the woodland, as well as some stronger styles with catsuits in the drawing room. Each time Mick made sure to pay attention to angles and lighting, really keen to nail 'THAT SHOT' - Which, having seen the edits, he most certainly did!

Mick is really fun to have around and conversation flowed throughout the shoot. I would highly recommend him and look forward to our next shoot together! Thank you Mick!! :D

I had my second shoot with mick and what fun we had shooting for fiit sqaud clothing, there were many outfits and all to my size. As I love the fitness industry this was right up my street and was very grateful for mick asking me to shoot the sports wear for him.

I can truly say mick is 100% professional kind and very welcoming,you feel so at ease from the moment you meet him! Always offering drinks and snacks ❤️ he knows how to look after his models

We have already arranged another shoot which I can truly say I'm really looking forward to!

I had a very chilled out shoot with Mick in a hotel room close to my home. We went through a number of shots including nude, lingerie etc. Mick is very easy to get along with and is happy to listen to your ideas.

We got a number of cool shots and I woyld be happy to model for Mick again in the not too distant future.

Mick is a very driven photographer with a great eye for detail and very clear ideas on what he wants from the shoot and how to get the best out of the model. Our shoot went off plan due to the weather causing chaos but we still managed to get some cracking shots. Pre comms were great as were the photos I received after. Yet another fantastic shoot with the talented Mick. Productive, creative and such an all round fun morning.

Early start to travel to a beautiful location which was luckily really quiet and peaceful throughout the shoot.

Loved all the images seen so far and looking forward to seeing our other sets.
