References for Mick Egan

A dream team! I had a ball shooting with the very genuine and talented Mick Egan at his home studio this week. From first introductions, I was struck by his open and friendly personality and warmed to him instantly. The whole shoot went smoothly from start to finish thanks to Mick’s superb prep and organisation. His place is kitted out with whole wardrobes of clothing, hosiery and accessories and he can pull together outfits readily, demonstrating a superb knack for women’s styling. This was a breath of fresh air and something I’ve never experienced with other photographers.

Mick’s natural flair for photography was evident in the way he adjusted the lighting, backdrops and angles to capture a variety of cracking images. Each set was a joy to shoot, the time just flew by! Post-shoot, he works fast and there was a rapid-fire turnaround on editing the images.

Mick’s clear vision and enthusiasm brings out the best in others and I’m positive he can add something special to any portfolio. 100% recommended! I’m infinitely grateful for the opportunity and counting down the days till I can work with him again.

So iv shot with mick a fair few times now. Every shoot has been amazing.

The images are some of my favourite work iv done really, he's very easy to work and always has ideas no matter what I bring with me.

Very professional attitude, very attentive to details and very organised youl feel at ease no matter what.

It's great to do some create work while still getting high quality images.

I highly recommend working with mick and I will be working with him again myself.

Had another fantastic shoot with Mick, variety of different sets ranging from fashion through to art nude and tired out something new I’m looking forward to seeing, the time flew by great conversation snd ideas bouncing from each other. As always pre comms we’re flawless, Mick has a huge range of lingerie/costumes in his home studio and is always full of ideas. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next shoot x

Iv worked with Mick 3 times now and its always a pleasure.

We ended up doing a home shoot due to the weather but we still made the most of it and got some nice pics! Some of which have been published! (Im really sorry about the late reference).

I always like working with Mick hes so easy going and I definitely know we will work together in the future :D

What can I say? Absolutely loved my shoot with mick! He made me feel extremely comfortable. He passed the cup of tea test so he has bonus points but on a photography level mick knows what looks good, and helps you achieve the best for your shoot! This guy is a Genius and I would highly recommend mick for a shoot . The image's coming back so far are unreal! We’re planning another shoot in the future. Thanks mate

I had my first shoot with Mick yesterday, pre- comms where brilliant so I knew exactly what to bring on the day, although I didn’t need much as Mick had a good set of gorgeous outfits ready. The shoot went so fast with having such a good time. It flowed really well from start to finish, even having the opportunity to look at the images on the back of the camera. Mick is an amazing photographer, he makes it look so easy. The edits are absolutely amazing and I can not wait to share them on my portfolio. Not only is Mick a fantastic photographer, he’s a genuinely lovely person too, so laid back and easy to talk to. I felt very inspired leaving the shoot yesterday. I hope to work together again in the future.

Had my second shoot with lens_folio. And I really enjoyed it, he picked a great studio for us to shoot in. I also got to do some beach shoots which I’ve never tried before. He brought along some nice things for me to model in for the shoot too. He’s very passionate about his photography and it’s nice to see the pics we created. Looking forward to the next shoot we do. I’d recommend to any models he’s a true gent. 😊

Splash Point Photo Studio

It was our first time having Mick at the studio, and his pre-comms were great, while on the day he was chatty and pleasant through out with a big smile on his face. I think he may have got the Splash Point bug, so I'll look forward to seeing him again soon :)

Had an amazing second shoot with talented Mick, this time we did a location shoot, we had a change of location last minute due to traffic issues ect but didn’t negatively impact the shoot whatsoever, time flew by and we definitely got some fabulous images, already planning our next shoot, highly recommended x

Had a really lovely shoot today with Mick in Sheffield. I had a lot of fun, he was very professional, easy to work with and down to earth, he had many great ideas and he can make good use of the locations and surroundings. I highly recommend him and will be shooting with him again.

So I asked mick to work on a idea I had as I wanted to work with someone I trust and knew would make my idea look good.

He was really helpful in bringing it yo life and the images are amazing as always! I highly recommend working with mick (and he's probably sic of seeing me now, but I really enjoy our shoots, very professional, very friendly and easy going and helped give directions to get some amazing images). We did have to improvise and change the planned shoot due to the weather, however it’s was still perfect! Fab guy to work with he’s a brilliant photographer, very professional snd just a all round nice person to speak too and work with! Absolutely loved the images I’ve seen so far and looking forward to seeing more

Another shoot with my favourite photographer, many reasons for this as Mick is talented, friendly, THE most professional tog iv had the pleasure of working with, we did our 1st location shoot yesterday and I left the ideas in Micks hands I showed up and what can I say I was blown away again I can not recommend Mick enough! I have found myself going back time and again because I feel super safe and relaxed in his company always thinking of your needs and the most respectful man to work with it's hard not to get great images ! Today I had my first shooting with Mick and I couldn't be more happy! He booked a hotel next to my house and we shoot for 3hrs. I was feeling really comfortable and relaxed all the time. Had my first shoot with Mick last week. Mick is a lovely and genuine person, and a very talented photographer; with a keen eye for detail and lots of brilliant ideas. He is very passionate about his work and very easy to talk to. We did a mix of studio and location shoots depending on the outfits I had brought. The images turned out great.

Mick is overall professional and enthusiastic. I would recommend his work to anyone.

Well where do I start?

Mick is an amazing photographer and will always go above and beyond for you. We worked on a project that was for my degree studies. I chose to work with Mick because I knew that he would be able to get my vision completely right.

Communication with Mick is excellent. There is always an opportunity to have a good chat before shoots with him, which is great so everyone is on the same page and had a common goal in the shoot.

Mick was so enthusiastic about my concept and that really shows in the photos and edits. He takes the time to research about things himself which I find to be a great quality in someone! If you have a project I urge you to ask Mick to work on it with you, as you will almost certainly get exactly what you visioned out of it!

Overall Mick is kind, enthusiastic, committed, professional, and really really hard working. I admire the many styles of photography he does so he really does have something for everybody.

Looking forward to our next and fourth shoot as I know it will be amazing!

Had a lovely first shoot with Mick, he's very friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to work with. Pre comms were spot on and Mick let me know his ideas/requests way ahead of time, which allowed me to prepare well. Mick likes to plan, which is a great trait as it allows for a very productive shoot.
