What can I say about Karl that would sum up the bountiful working relationship we have... he was one of my first shoots before I started working heavily in UK, and he’s been one of my first shoots now after a six month hiatus. In other words, Karl has been a stable booking when I have been in “fledgling” time periods. He lives close by, and has been patient as I’ve needed to reschedule a few times, holding out for when the planets and my health aligned for us to achieve our shoot.

We shot for two afternoons back to back this week, in my home. Karl has an absolutely wonderful eye for styling and aesthetic, and we played around with a couple ornate, erotic themes. He let me pitch ideas for angles, but otherwise he arranged the sets and spaces we shot in, and brought some props along for us to use.

There’s something luminous and intimate in the way he shoots his portraiture, it is something distinct to photographers who’s background is in boudoir. He captures heat and tension and details which make captivating, elegant erotica.

I am indebted to Karl for making me feel like I can be wonderfully myself, as an artist and as a person. He is a very down-to-earth conversationalist, something I have not come across much in life. I enjoy listening to him, learning about his life, and sharing my own lived experiences with him as well. He makes models feel safe, secure, and at peace.

Highly thankful for these recent bookings and am in awe of the results I’ve seen so far!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Karl for the second time. We had a great shoot and time flew by. Karl and I get along very well and can have a good natter as well as capturing some awesome images! Karl is not only easy and fun to work with he is very professional and will not level push, totally respectful and highly recommended. Thanks for a great shoot I hope to work together again.

I had my first shoot with Karl along side a new model to help her with posing, to gain confidence and experience. Pre shoot communication was great on Karl’s side and even made sure I got home safely after the shoot as the trains were cancelled. The shoot was fun we tried a few different sets which went well, I love the images I’ve received. We all got on really well. Highly recommended by me.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Karl on two of his trips to Scotland in which we did one shoot in an apartment and the other in a studio fairly local to me which was greatly appreciated after his long journey up here.

Karl's comms were and are always on point and professional. Both shoots went very well and during shooting I felt comfortable throughout and he also got some lovely images.

Karl is friendly, funny, professional, great to work with an absolute gentleman and I will definitely work with him again.
