Grabbed an hour on Roxy M's studio day. I particularly wanted to try some lighting styles I hadn't done much of before. Andy certainly had the kit I needed and was very helpful in setting up and with advice.

I worked at Kempston Studio for the first time, Thursday and Friday. The two days were sold out very quickly and went really well. The studio itself is amazing! So many beautifully designed, well thought out sets and everything just flowed over the two days.

Andy, the studio owner is always on hand for any assistance (for the photographer and model) and also to make endless amounts of teas and coffees! You will need a good sense of humour to work here as Andy makes a lot of (bad) jokes! Just kidding, Andy is friendly, respectful, funny and attentive!

Highly recommend by me. Looking forward to coming back! Thanks Andy. See you and the studio soon!

I had my first shoot at Kempston Studio the other day as part of a 2-hour studio session with Roxy M. Andy has created an Aladdin’s cave of creative opportunities by cleverly designing the studio so it can be reorganised quickly to create different scenes and backdrops with minimal time delay. Although I used my own portable lighting, Andy has the full range of lighting equipment to hand should you need it.

Andy is also ever ready to help with moving and rearranging equipment, providing lighting tips, compositional ideas etc and of course the kettle is always on.

My 2-hour session flew by, the time available only allowed me to scratch the surface of the many possibilities the studio can provide.

First time shoot at Kempston studio and fully lived up and exceeded expectations.

A clean, modern studio with a number of interesting sets to shoot, a good array of props and model clothing (albeit that the model on the day had brought an expansive collection) and a good variety of lighting set ups, including a lighting wall that could be slid between a couple of the sets.

Andy, the owner, was very friendly and attentive and always readily on hand to change sets, move furniture, set up the lighting etc and indeed kept the coffees flowing !

This was my first ever photo shoot and Andy made me feel very comfortable and relaxed in the studio. Andy really knows his stuff with different angles and lightening and has a really broad range of backdrops and settings to play with in the studio. I highly recommend Kempston Studios for not only experienced models, but also new models like myself. A great first experience and I hope to visit many more times! :)

Kempston Camera Club invited me yesterday to model in a GOBO workshop in Kempston studio. Andy has got every equipment you may need for a shooting. Kempston Studio has detailed backgrounds and scenes. It is a place were you can comfortably work to get quality pictures.

Andy makes you feel at ease, provides and atmosphere where the model can feel confident and relaxed while showing the GOBO equipment to everyone.

I am very grateful to Andy for counting on me for this interesting workshop.

Shot at Kempston Studio! Lovely layouts, backdrops and sets :) very clean and tidy which is rare these days in studios haha! Toilets were immaculately clean! No cob webs or spiders! The owner is polite and a gentleman. He offered me lots of tea and sweets. Huge range of outfits, clothing, lingerie and heels in the studio! Cosy studio and lots of homely sets and nice interior/furniture for each set. Highly recommended :)

It was my first time working at this amazing studio and it surely won’t be the last! I was here for two days for a studio day weekend. Andy made me feel very welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. I felt very safe at the studio and Andy was always around to help. The photographers that came to the studio weekend were all very friendly, chatty and professional.

The studio offers a variety of different sets from bridal boudoir to a Noir set. You will never run out of ideas here!

I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for something that offers versatility and also a very helpful studio owner who goes above and beyond for whatever you need!

Andy has managed to make a versatile space with lots of different set possibilities. Andy worked hard setting up each set, moving furniture on request and preparing lights and was very helpful indeed.

My first experience using this cool studio was a success!! Very nice set up and I found there was actually so many ways to use just one room set up.
