Let me begin with this. Keira is a whirlwind Astonishment.

I’ve just mad my way back to UK and Keira Lavelle is the most profound reason why.

Hands Down she is the Muse that goes for the shots that you thought you wanted and makes them Gallery Level Compositions. She isn’t afraid to push the creative envelope (I’m not referring to pushing her levels) I’m referring to Artistic Chances and Esthetics.

So this Tour setting out, Keira worked very much as my Right Arm.

I had Internet and GPS issues and she tended to Business Communications while in transit Touring UK.

Where problems would arise on Tour her extensive knowledge actually saved the Tour with Locations, Itinerary Adjustments in a fluid situation. Bottom line, she stepped up.

She brought her Arts Voyage Business Sense into this Gig and Art some points took the wheel in waters that she was familiar providing alternative options and locations. This alone was PRICELESS.

I’m speaking from the Past, Present, and Future… I highly recommend Keira Lavelle.

She is Impassioned in the act of creativity, she will not rest as she advocates for best to be had Shoot for Shoot. Rain, Cold Water, Intense Trails, Climbs, Heat… I have zero hesitation in recommending her.

I’d love to shoot with her any place, anytime, any continent.

TLDR: ArtsVoyage = Fantastic, Keira = Awesome.

Longer Version:

Not only is Keira an awesome model but she also, now single headedly, runs overseas ArtsVoyage photography trips.

Just over a week ago I returned from an ArtsVoyage one-to-one trip to Fuerteventura with Keira. Yes it's taken me this long to recover!!

Is there no limit as to what this lady does solo-hosting these trips? Keira fulfilled the following roles - driver, route-planner, chef, designer, stylist, guide, entertainer (in the form of karaoke singer on the longer trips, and yes the playlist still includes The Snowman), location scout, set designer, creative director, fitness coach (optional) - the list goes on.

When not doing all the above - she finds energy to jump in front of the camera too!

It was only three days, but felt much longer as we achieved a lot in that time. Finishing late at night on a couple of days meant that we deferred on the early morning starts :)

The majority of the locations we visited were natures natural creation: beaches, rockpools, lava caves, natural arches - all offering great, and varied, opportunities. However, much of the Fuerteventuran landscape is just too big to work out good compositions whilst trying to include such a dynamic posing machine. So we biased our shoots to the smaller / tighter vistas. It would have been a shame to visit this landscape and shoot against just man made components - although we did visit a couple of derelict / abandoned sites.

This was my second ArtVoyage trip - this being my first one-to-one. I can find no faults, well apart from 'The Snowman' being in the playlist when it's blue skies, blazing sun and almost 30 degrees :P

Communications prior to the trip very comprehensive, if you've ever received an email from Keira you know what I mean, letting the attendee know what they've signed up to. Note: at this point it's too late to back out. Also sent is a detailed 'catalogue' containing details of shoot location options grouped by category along with the outfits and styling that will be available.

The accommodation superb, clean, spacious and comfortable. A well chosen villa location meant that no shoot location required excessive travel time.

This lady is awesome to work with.

One of the most creative creatives I think I've worked with. Styling, modelling and makeup all managed with prowess. Posing is out of this world. The self proclaimed human Duracell bunny - and with good reason - she does not stop. Even when giving the photographer opportunity for siesta, or a much needed break, she's off on a four mile walk! Where does she get her energy - it cannot be just from the tea, or can it?. First thing in the morning a high intensity workout is performed - not for me however, I'm still on my first coffee. I was invited to join, but politely, and sensibly in my opinion, declined. Mind, it can be quite disconcerting when entering the kitchen and frog squats / jumps are being performed 8D

I've since come to the conclusion that the only time Keira sits still is when driving or during meals.

The utmost confidence in her abilities when on location. Here the dedication to fitness comes into its own. I confess, she scares me half to death sometimes. No matter how many times I said 'please no', after careful consideration and planning she still went for it.

Mind, it does frighten me to suggest a shoot idea as Keira will do all she can to reach the desired location / posing spot, so more often than not it's best to stay quiet, be safe, and save the nerves. But, it's unnerving how Keira has this sixth sense ability to propose an idea - just moments after I'd mentally dismissed it as not being wholly practical. My philosophy has always been I'll not ask a model to go where I'd not be prepared to go. With due consideration and every confidence she's clambering over rocks. I do firmly believe that she's part mountain goat / part cat / part fish.

Keira knows what locations will work too, I once found myself crawling to the back of a cave 'because the light will be awesome'. And true to her vision - it was.

This lady does not want to work with the landscape or location, she wants to beat it into submission - then make some awesome shapes. Incredibly patient too, in waiting for this unfit gasping wreck to catch up to the bouncing Keira as we crossed soft sandy beaches and rocky outcrops. To outside observers we must have looked like Arwen (graceful elf) and Gimli (labouring dwarf), I'll let you decided who's who.

I sincerely hope that the images I've captured do justice to the work put in by Keira.

Having wanted to work with Keira for a while now, I had he absolute pleasure of working with her today.

What an absolute LEGEND.

Keira took me to several nearby locations (waterfall and abandoned farmhouse), before doing some very creative, on Keira's part, studio work.

What an amazing day, Keira braved the cold of a waterfall, climbed slimy rocks and wobbly walls, to get some spectacular images, (does nothing phase her?) (like I said LEGEND).

Very and chatty, with a great sense of humour. Cannot wait to work with her again.

Totally recommended by me. Thanks Keira, you rock.

Muffled screams

I had the absolute pleasure of working with keira today. She answered to one of my castings and i booked her in for the next day. She said she had done this sort of work before which is always a bonus when working with new models and WOW, she played the damsel in distress VERY well. She threw every emotion at it and nailed it, almost too well. She is really good at acting and didn't need much direction. Had a good laugh shooting the content too and had a good atmosphere. Keira is super friendly too. She wasn't afraid to try ideas I threw at her and gave 110% with everything. I will definitely be working with her again at some point in the future. My third shoot with Keira, but my first ever remote shoot.

I chose to remote shoot with Keira because I knew she had plenty of experience with them so I knew I was in good hands.

How right I was. Totally excellent session with her signature creative insanity in full flow which produces the most amazing results. The only struggle I have is I have so many images to choose from I’ll probably be months in the editing process. It’s a great problem to have.

Had the most amazing location photoshoot with Keira around West Yorkshire, I have worked with her before on numerous occasions as she is in my top 10 of models to work with and the results you get show for themselves.

So I traveled from the light side of Lancashire to the dark side of Yorkshire (well it did get foggy going over the tops to Hebden Bridge) and got to Keira’s abode around 10am she told me what she had planned for the day and we duly set of for the location of Stoodley Pike which was amazing by this time the sun had arrived, I did take the wrong lens 70-200mm but worked around it and I did take my drone but it was to windy on the tops and there where way more people up there than on a bad day at Piccadilly Circus in London so wouldn’t have been safe to do so (have they no homes to go to!!!)

Anyway we got some awesome images up there and at an old abandoned farm house and at Keira’s studio later on.

Would I recommend her…. Hell yes without a shadow of doubt one of the best photoshoots ever, even though this old photographer is a bit knackered today… I had one of the best days ever. Here’s to our next shoot.

Worked with Keira at an oil and water themed event last weekend staged at Aura Photographic. It was a great event and Keira with her energy and enthusiasm made it really enjoyable. Had worked with Keira previously a few years ago now and as before the standard of posing, body shapes and emotions created were fantastic. With a very friendly personality and the ability to pull her body into amazing shapes the body shape profiles were out of this world. Just had my second shoot with Keira. We crammed so much into a day…starting off with a drone shoot in the woods and then heading back to the studio for a gel shoot and some boudoir for good measure.

Keira is a creative genius (must be the swamp juice she drinks!). We shot set-ups that I would probably never even considered but the images I ended up with are probably the best I have ever taken. Keira is full of energy and has incredible strength when it comes to climbing trees. She can get into some seemingly impossible positions whilst up in the trees and that produces some fantastic images when using a drone.

I had begun to lose my mojo for model photography but Keira has certainly brought it back with a vengeance!

I am definitely looking forward to my next shoot with Keira and hope it isn’t another three years away. 😊

Keira pulled out all her losing and energy skills for 2 separately themed events using Oil & Water for Art Nude Bodyscape forms, and Fashion and Art Nude Flour throwing at Aura Studio.

I have worked with her before amongst Laser Lights also at Aura, with awesome results, and these events were just as amazing. Keira worked so hard to create different poses, and never complaining of being covered head to toe with flour! She has a very friendly personality, and coupled to her years of experience, make for a very special day.

I came away with a wonderful collection of photographs from the day, and can recommend Keira 100% to all levels of photographers. Thanks Keira - a superb day : )

I had my first shoot yesterday with Keira as part of an event arranged by Aura Photographic - two sessions, one with oil and water followed by a separate flour shoot.

What can I say? It was a fantastic day's shooting. Keira is great to work with, chatty and friendly as well as enthusiastic and full of energy. During the first part of the day she was easily posing away without direction - the shape she can pull herself into for bodyscapes is amazing.

Then during the second half, one could only admire her dedication during the flour shoot, both in terms of her jumping around - she must have been exhausted at the end - and the unpleasantness of getting her eyes repeatedly caked in flour!

So a huge thanks to Keira to a utterly enjoyable & productive shoot.

Would I work with Keira again? Absolutely!

The last shoot of 2022 was with Keira (remotely) due to the weather as it should have been in person at her place... so the first shoot of 2023 is with Keira at her home and her little studio and the the weather didn't play its part this time.

I was greeted at the door by her other half and had coffee, Keira duly appeared and set about creating her Valentines set which she will be using over the next few weeks we got some great images even some Facebook friendly ones, I was threatened with pond water tea that she drinks but missed out when we set off to her studio but not before we tried to coerce her pet cat Tigger back into the house but he was having non of it with a strange photographer shaking Dreamies cat food at him.

We Continued the shoot at her studio trying some Light Painting photography which is definitely a work in progress with the images we created, and we will be returning to it again some time in the future.

All I can say is the Keira is one of the best in the business and is a hard working talented young lady, and is lots of fun to work with highly recommend by me with out a shadow of doubt.

And what was she singing.... Oh yeah Baby Shark!!!

I had a dream, not one of the big important ones, but it was mine and it was important to me. I asked Keira to help me make it happen, pre comms were excellent with details and ideas going both ways. On the day of the shoot, I was late damned M62! Keira was great about it supplying me with a much needed recuperating cuppa.

It would be safe to say that Keira has an un-fathomable amount of outfits including lingerie, I suspect that her wardrobe opens up inside the Tardis. We had basically 20 different sets and Keira came up with something that was different and creatively relevant to each set. Then I asked her to dance to a music track of my choice with just a quick play through as we discussed what outfit we thought would fit. I asked here to do this 20 times.

She is the consummate professional and incredibly creative as a dancer, model, MUA and outfit picker (don't know what the proper phrase is) She is also a great host, chatty and friendly. Luckily we were too busy for me to try her "tadpole tea" really feel that I dodged a bullet there, Yorkshire tea for me all the way.

Working with Kiera was a privilege and I could not reccomend her any higher.

On 29th December, I had my third remote shoot with Keira.

Although not as personal as a face to face shoot, remotes are a good way of still working together especially if you live a distance away from each other.

As with the previous remote shoots, the comms were excellent and everything worked smoothly. Keira is a fun but very professional person to work with. Also a cat lover – which says it all!

As I only had limited time available, we concentrated on just one set – Keira’s especially constructed “cave set”. With clever use of different lighting techniques, we managed to achieve a wide variety of images.

As before, I totally recommend Keira and suggest you try to book a shoot with her either remote or in person. You won’t be disappointed.

I knew Keira would be amazing from the way she replied to my casting. Most models would just reply "yeah up for this" but Keira sent a very detailed pitch with cost breakdowns and all she could offer if I were to make the 2.5h drive up north. That's something for me that really stood her out from the rest and from that moment I knew despite a hell of a round trip I couldn't possibly say no!

And what a shoot it was. If you are new, or hobbyist, Keira has learnt so much about how to get the best out of lighting as well as your camera. I realised just how many rookie errors I've been making all this time - the images we got will need very little, if any, post thanks to a meticulous attention to detail and an incredible work ethic. I went expecting a shoot, what I got was a masterclass.

Nevertheless, she's extremely chatty, friendly and despite her incredible CV, completely un-divaish.

Thank you Keira for inviting me to your studio and more importantly into your lovely home in a beautiful part of the country. (If you've never been to the Pennines, trust me - you will want to move there if you go to shoot at Halifax!)

This was my second shoot with Keira, and the second one with her styling, this time a Christmas theme. Lots of looks, ranging from subtly seasonal to seriously sexy elf. Keira is great at styling both her sets, and her self, understands lighting and how it works to make her look at her best. We had a couple of make up looks during the two hour shoot, and the speed that Keira can do really complex make up looks is amazing. The images are really good as expected, and will keep me in Christmas images for a couple of years. Would recommend Keira whole heartedly, and am already looking at planning our next shoot.

The Mad Hatter

Our umpteenth time working together, this time intercepting Keira on her meandering journey home from touring. Believe me working with her never disappoints and I write this exhausted from the creative buzz of the half day. It was her first visit at the regretfully soon to close Aatish studio, I had preconceived ideas of a programme that would work but we walked around, took turns at spotting the light the studio was offering us and well, we dived in. The sets were classic, zany, sensual, beautiful, reflective and hot ( well that one WAS in the sauna..) and the images flowed. Let me tell you Keira is a wonderful model, she understands light and styling and is a rather good make up artist. Good company too, we chatted for England and farther beyond as we always do. This lady is epic, a genuinely lovely person and a pure joy to work with. As always Keira, it was a privilege to work with you, thank you 🙏😊. Recommended like CRAZY!!!

I had my first shoot with Keira yesterday at a local hotel.

In summary she is an absolute delight to work with. She is very personable and within minutes I felt like I'd known her for years. She is extremely versatile in creating different looks and has an impressive knowledge of lighting. In fact although I had brought some lighting with me it wasn't needed as Keira had her own constant light set-up with which she was able to create a wide variety of lighting situations.

Our four hour shoot passed very quickly indeed and I'd jump at the chance of working with her again.

Highly recommended.

WOW WOW WOW at long last I managed to get a shoot with Keira having had many clashes of our diaries, trying to arrange shoots at various locations.

Well at last we managed to get a shoot in at a local studio and also do some location work in central MK.

We worked through a lot of sets with Keira producing a stunning array of poses, working tirelessly.

If you have never worked with Keira you are truly missing out and I am certainly looking forward to another shoot in 2023

This was my first shoot with Keira, and I hope it won’t be the last. I answered her casting call for a Halloween themed shoot. Keira had styled the sets, clothes and make-up and all were to a high standard and worked really well.

Keira is a great model, professional, enthusiastic, and hard working, making sure that I got the images that I wanted.

A really good shoot, with a great model, and I am already looking forward to planning another shoot. Keira is definitely recommended.
