The painting depicts the sacrifice of Iphigenia by her father Agamemnon, transposed to Bronze-Age Cornwall. Location Chun Quoit, model Amanda Hill. 2014-ish... we had the rock to ourselves until a woman walking a dog came over to have a look; she said hullo and went away. An hour and a quarter later, we were investigated by seven male dog-walkers, one or two without dogs!
