Jonathan contacted me to ask if I would be interested in am early morning shoot with him in the Peak District, centred around his new car. Having previously worked with Jonathan, and met him a few times when he had came to Basford Hurst Cottage I was thrilled to be working with him again!!

Jonathan arrived on time (despite this being 5am.....!! Haha!) and we headed out into the Peak District to find a suitable location. Unfortunately the great British weather once again had other ideas and we ended up with rain and strong winds....!! After battling with the elements we decided to abort our mission as things weren't looking much better weather wise....! However, I was so grateful to Jonathan for making every effort, balancing cameras, tripods and lighting stands, to really capture some wicked shots!!! Despite the short amount of shoot time I really think we came away with a few awesome images and I very much look forward to seeing the final edits!!

During the shoot Jonathan made sure I was warm and well looked after. I thoroughly enjoy working alongside him and I really hope to shoot with him again soon!! Thanks again Jonathan!!!

Being surrounded by nature creating art really is my happy place, and having Jonathan to create and hang out with was a bonus.

A really professional and polite guy throughout with lots of ideas to create a wonderful variety of shots.

The weather couldn't have been more on our side either with the first few drops of rain starting as we took our last image!

Such a successful few hours in good company, I can't wait to see the results and can only hope to work together again very soon!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Jonathan came back to Basford Hurst cottage this week to work with Caitlyn J on her three day sold out event.

All pre comms with Jonathan were great. He made everything very easy to organise and get booked in. On the day of the shoot he arrived on time with everything he needed and after a quick chat and a cuppa he began working with Caitlyn.

During his time with us Jonathan was very respectful of our location and happy to ask if he ever needed anything. He worked well alongside Caitlyn and they produced many lovely images together!!

We would of course highly reccomend Jonathan and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you for coming back to visit our location Jonathan!!

Jonathan recently booked me during my Yorkshire Tour and I'm so glad he did because we got so many wonderful shots! His pre shoot communications were excellent, responding well to my questions and then providing me with some outfit suggestions to bring and a mood board as well.

He arrived on time and was ready to go, so after a brief catch up we jumped straight into it. He was polite, professional and friendly and we jumped straight into the shoot. His main focus was on latex so we started outside and throughout Jonathan was conscious of me, making sure I wasn't cold. He was super respectful of me at all times and I felt very comfortable working with him.

He is very confident with his lighting, happily adjusting as and when needed which was hard considering we battled sunlight!

He's got a fantastic eye for photography and worked hard to capture unique images. He was super easy to work with and he was open to my ideas too.

I'd happily recommend Jonathan and look forward to shooting with him again. Highly recommend!

I had my first shoot with JukeboxJohnnie and his 100mpx blue camera, at Apex studio, which I arranged in the end. He was great to work with starting with the orange background with my holey black dress, then the black and white wall, then to nude, then a matching hat. Then we did my red outfit with same background, then purple lingerie set with a graffiti wall which ended up being his favourite set. He did not push my levels. He was courteous, polite and relaxed. He let me pose freely, and took on Kev's lighting advice. I was pleased with the outcome at the end. Recommended to other models.

This time he was working with model Emma whilst she was here on her tour & studio day.

Always turns up on time, very respectful when working with his models.

Had a great shoot with Jonathan and another photographer in Liverpool, and we had a fab day! We got loads done, lots of creative ideas with cool lighting, as well as some lovely chat & plenty of tea. Comms were also great, thoroughly recommended!

I was so lucky to have an incredible creative shoot with Jonathan! Our pre-communication was excellent. He messaged me with the idea for the shoot that was very creative and fun! He gave me all the details and bought all the necessary outfits and accessories to create the perfect look! On the day of the shoot, he met me near the studio and helped with my heavy bag. He was very friendly and easygoing. He gave me a small tour around the studio and gave me a lot of time to do my makeup and prepare the look! The whole shoot was very easy and fun! Jonathan didn't rush me; he took some time to settle the perfect lighting. I was free to pose as I wanted and be creative! I have to mention also that Jonathan is a really great photographer who knows how to create great lighting and use the angles to make the perfect shots! He showed me the photos on the back of his camera, and they all look absolutely stunning! The whole shoot was very relaxed and full of fun! Also, we had a great chat, and time flew by! I am so happy we managed to work together, and I'm excited about the creative possibilities for our future shoots. Worked with Jon for the first time at shapeshifter studio at a valentine special that included body and face paint and he was such a joy to work with. So funny we bounced off each other so well. Another epic shoot with Jonathan - this time as part of a duo with Caitlyn J and what a blast we had!

His pre shoot communications were excellent. They were well thought out, properly planned and then we'll executed. Jonathan provided us with a mood board ahead of the shoot, including some outfits for us to bring, which really helps with the packing process!

He was very understanding of our long drive from Somerset to Liverpool the morning of our shoot, and was super relaxed during the 4 hour shoot. Jonathan's ideas were refreshing and joyful to take part in. His guitars were great props to use during our first set (although heavy haha!).

It's always a pleasure to work with Jonathan and I look forward to seeing his edits. Highly recommend him to other creatives :)

Jonathan booked Angel Black and myself to duo at Libre studio. Precomms were great, providing example images showing what direction he wanted to shoot, and detailing specific outfits he wanted us to bring, he was very thorough which helped heaps!

He was really easy to work with, the shoot laid back but productive, exactly what we needed after a long journey up to Liverpool. We shot with his electric guitars, and did a variety of different sets after that. He gave great feedback during the shoot, leaving posing up to us, and regularly showing back of camera. The four hours went by so quickly!

I am very pleased with the results we achieved and I cannot wait to see the finished images. Highly recommend to any model :)

I had the pleasure of shooting with Jonathan in High Wycombe on the weekend, I was so grateful he travelled such distance to work with me!

He is so creative and we came up with some amazing concepts, from fashion, lingerie up to art nude, and not forgetting the amazing coloured lighting!

I recently had my first one to be shoot with Jonathan following a brief meeting at a group shoot in Manchester some time ago. We had four hours together at Basford Hurst Cottage, a beautiful venue he is quite familiar with, and those four hours absolutely flew by. I feel like we managed to shoot a really great mix of genres, a little art nude, some fashion and classical imagery, each set just as lovely as the last. Together we rattled of ideas both inside and out, Jonathan utilising the natural light and studio lighting to great effect. What an absolutely enjoyable afternoon and one I really hope to repeat in the future. Pre comms and the shoot itself were both spot on and Jonathan is a joy to spend time with. Would 100% recommend.
