Almost six years exactly after our very first shoot John and I were well overdue a catch up!! Well, it was definitely worth the wait!!

John and I had an epic remote shoot just yesterday and my god, this man just makes you fee alive!! His laugh, his enthusiasm and energy is infectious (the good kind) and our shoot was sadly over before I knew it.

As has been said all along, remote shoots are not a replacement for 'in person shoots' but, as has been proved now over and over- they are a fabulous and creative alternative while we are unable to shoot face to face.

The 'theme' was wacky, crazy, strange colour and well, whatever came to mind and I just loved the freedom this gave me to go with whatever vibe I was feeling. The results are fabulous, the shoot was fabulous. John is fabulous. I am excited about shooting with John again- remotely, in person- anywhere!

Thank you John for a great remote shoot. Lets not leave it so long next time ;) :D It was great :)

I had a thoroughly enjoyable remote shoot with John. His ideas are fantastic, giving me great inspirations to build on, and his enthusiasm and joyfulness throughout the process is just delightful. So after a year of carnage, madness (which I think we can all relate to!) and not having a blinking clue what’s going on one day to the next... There is a little bit of joy to be had when other means of working enable you to connect, and catch up with truly epic people as John is! :D

I recently got myself fully kitted out for the remote side of things. And I was just overjoyed to have phenomenal support from people that I’ve always loved working with in the past when face-to-face shoots were actually a thing! I think John is the perfect example of a photographer who can grasp this new concept with both hands and price to the world that: you can still have images with your stamp on them, and play a very active and creative roll in how your shoot goes. :) Oh he got right into the swing of it alright: the same JPea that we know and live who gets so excited when a moment just WORKS! Or the light is looking just too good that it calls for little yelps of joy! :P

Of course that was merely the start... I dragged poor John out into the snow that we’d had the evening before - a good few inches of the stuff! Fortunately for him: the Brum area was actually more like tropical sunshiny paradise when he tethered through to the ice age in Yorkshire. So he stayed nice and warm this time. 😂 But I’m sooooo happy to have had such a great photographer on a day when this happened as literally 24 hours and it can be gone again! That was a fine opportunity snatched which produced some really lovely (and totally mad too) photo’s. Thank you for being up for it John. :)

We did some general(ish) pwiddy stuff too! Shapes against wood and furniture, all elegant and artsy. That’s the great thing about John - he’s just sooooo darn versatile! And where remote shooting possibly does rely on a model having sets assembled and talking the photographer through the different possibilities: John really does rock that teamwork opportunity that you have to bounce off each other and make something fabulous out of the resources you’ve got. He’s always paying attention to the shot he can create: the environment, the models pose, the light, the composition... It’s like his brain just operates at 600 miles per hour productivity haha! :D

Anything else? Yess!!! A superb gent at all costs! So bubbly, fun natured, a great laugh (sarky as they come! :P) but honestly the BEST company whether virtual or in-person working. :) He’s also got a highly professional and decent approach which means (banter and silliness aside) that the model will ALWAYS receive upmost respect from John.

Most definitely recommended! And I do hope we can do it again in the future! :D

Remote shoots need a special kind of model photographer team and working with John was exactly that! A large dose of creativity and spot on communication made the shoot run so smoothly and together we made use of the beautiful sunlight streaming into the loft room. The shadows and light images were the highlight for me and John captured so many great images.

I was really pleased when John messaged me to arrange a remote shoot. I have been doing remote shooting since May and tutorial sessions for photographers on how the whole process works. It is so much fun and I couldn't wait to show John the ropes.

The minute John and I started talking I knew we would get on well. We clicked and I showed him how to use the program. He took it on really well and was really good at focusing the images. We managed to do 3 different sets and the images are really great.

John was a joy to work with and it was so nice working with someone who completely understood me as a model and how I pose. He was as excited as I was to do the shoot and see the results. The edits look beautiful and I love them.

John was friendly, kind, chatty and polite during our session and I would highly recommend him. I really loved working with him and I hope we get to work together again. Thanks John!

I adore John's personality, he has a little cheeky flare and a wicked sense of humour, all paired with a genuine passion and creative flare to his photography that makes it impossible not to love every second of the shoot!!

I've worked with John for so long now that I have actually lost count of how many shoots we have done haha! But what I do know is he is one of my favourite photographers to work with :)

When he books on to either my own personal tours, or my events/Summers Abroad trips I get so excited because I know we will have a great time! John is such a genuine, lovely person who is so full of life - we always have a great laugh on our shoots and the time goes by way too quickly!

This particular shoot it was incredibly hot and I stupidly forgot to drink enough water so at one point felt a bit faint from dehydration, but John looked after me so well making sure I was fully ok before starting again and checking numerous times after that I was still ok :)

We worked out way through some really cool looks and it was great to be back creating with him :D Highly recommended as always by me! See you in a few weeks at my manor event!

2W Location

It was wonderful to see John again and we were delighted he trusted us to provide a safe enough environment for him to break his corona fast from shooting.

John is tremendous company and gets along with his models so well which no doubt assists in him creating such fantastic and imaginative images.

Had my first shoot today with John at his home and wow!!!

Absolute pleasure to work with him! He has some gorgeous spaces with amazing natural light, is full of ideas and suggestions to really squeeze every ounce of creativity out of you.

Everything you want rolled up into one man wielding a camera! Easy to chat with, lovely sense of humour which made the shoot fly by. Welcoming and happy to help.

Highly recommended from me! And I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

The shoot was amazing and I had so much fun!

Ah, John.

Honestly I could probably write a book enthusing about this man - and I say that with complete sincerity.

I feel very privileged to have even met John, to know him in any capacity, but I have been fortunate enough to meet him as part of this wonderful creative journey. In terms of what makes us 'tick' as far as imagery goes, John and I are fantastically compatible - which makes shooting with him the absolute best experience that it could be. Further, John is full of interesting stories and fabulous humour, which make every minute with him all the more enjoyable.

During this particular shoot we covered so many different styles and areas, and created numerous fabulous images - every time we work together it just gets better and better.

I cannot wait until next time... in beautiful Mauritius!

I so SO enjoyed shooting at your house. There's is so much natural light which is absolutely my favourite. Your house was warm with plenty of cups of tea with biscuits.

I'm not sure whether we do more talking or shooting but either way it's always a MASSIVE success and the images that I have seen so far are amazing!!!!

You are friendly, genuine, chatty, funny, intelligent, you have so many stories I could listen to them all day and I literally don't have a negative thing to say.

This was my first time shooting with John, and working with photographers like him is a big reason why i love my job!! After coming back from a short break, working with John was a breath of fresh air.

He arrived a little late (Bristol traffic) and was super apologetic but it didnt stop the rest of the shoot going absolutely brilliantly! He is so easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour.

Hes very respecful and knows what hes doing behind the camera. His ideas and creativty unfolds throughout the shoot, his passion for photography and creating interesting and dark images is clear.

The shoot went by so fast, but we got a great range of shots. its such a bonus that he shows you the images on the back of the camera as you change sets/outfit. This all shows in his work!

Id be delighted to work with John again, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to any model.

First time shooting with John today and I'm so happy he booked me, it was a last minute arrangement but everything fell into place easily and Pre coms where easy to follow

John is absolutely brilliant! His passion for photography really shows and his excitement from creating images was great to work from and keep me energetic throughout.

Time flew by as we worked our way through so many different ideas, every shot was perfectly taken and the lighting was checked and adjusted as we went along, the back of the camera images were beautiful, John knows what he's doing and it really shows

I had such a fun day and would definitely come back

I've been working with John for numerous years now, we've done countless shoots together and every single one of them I can honestly say has been an utter pleasure!

I always look forward to my shoots with John, he has an enthusiasm for his photography that is incredibly rare. A true passion for creating art and with that comes some mad but wonderful ideas too. I always love the fact that there is a story line or a concept to the images we create.

I honestly can not recommend him more highly! A true gentleman, a total pleasure to be in his company and so much fun to work with - what more can you ask for?!

i shoot for the first time with John on Thursday , great communication before the shoot and John was very accommodating as well with the time of our shoot, he is just so lovely and polite , he came to meet me at the train station with a big smile so i knew straight away we will get on well and he has some really great ideas and outfit , we shoot a great selection of pictures who will look so good to improve my portfolio ,John is one of the nicest photographer i worked with and i really hope that wont be our last shoot together , those 4 hours went so fast .

I worked with John for the first time recently and he was a whirlwind of creative energy and exuberant fun.

We had a very successful shoot at Image Red, both in the Loft and the studio. He had sent a few rough ideas, but wanted to see how he felt on the day, depending on location and things I had with me, but once we got going, ideas flowed and we worked through a variety of great and wacky ideas.

A fantastic collaborator, full of enthusiasm, we put our ideas together and reviewed images as we went, refining and improving the shots, my favourite way to work! I would happily work with him again :-)
