Does anyone remember this, for its time, racy novel?

I just thought Rachelle in this location and this dress was reminiscent of the heroine of this somewhat cheesy, but very popular novel.

EDIT: I am not suggesting Rachelle is cheesy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just the novel.
