Had my first shoot at John's Woolton Hall event, and was impressed with the organization of the day. Despite the cold conditions all went well, and John, a global thanks to all the models for braving the elements. MUA's on hand, a warm room to warm up, hot water bottles to thaw out models - a bit of thought has gone into this, well done. A very interesting venue so a variety of opportunities. Some mains electricity was great to run studio flash, but in limited locations. If you haven't been to one of John's Woolton shoots before, it is well worth attending, new places, new people. That's what it is all about. But forget the photography, the day long food supply was amazing, sandwiches, pizza, hot stew drinks. Wow!! Highly recommended.

I had another amazing time at Woolton Hall recently; I was daring and decided to attend on both Saturday and Sunday!

John is excellent in his organisation of these events; he is down to earth and does such a fantastic job in pairing up model and photographer, being flexible and considerate to make sure everyone gets a good variety of shoots on the day.

John organised a networking event at Woolton Hall on Saturday (also ran another Sunday that I couldn't make sadly!) Anyway, great event, friendly people there, including John, had some great shoots, John organised it really well, just wish I had more time there, so look forward to future events John :)

Another great woolton hall event organised by John. Pre comms fab as usual, having been several times now I knew what to expect and what to bring!

Special mention to the constant supply of brews and biscuits available which keeps everyone going

I'm sure John must clock up a marathon each time whilst he's pairing off models and photographers and trying to locate us all in the building! Brilliantly organised yet flexible (especially when I nearly triple book myself)

Would recommend to anyone and I will be attending again for sure

This was the second occasion I have Attended the Woolton Hall event . John does a fantastic job at running these events .

It is well attended by numerous models and so there is plenty of opportunity to work with several models throughout the day. In the days leading up to the shoot as ever communication was excellent.

As someone who is still developing my skills in photography, I can testify to the fact John is easy to get on with whatever your level of photography.

I have met John several times and have communicated with him on several other occasions via social media etc as well as shooting in his studio . I will certainly be seeing John again, probably in the near future.

Thanks John for putting together a awsum day today at woolton hall, I was super nervous but upon arriving John welcomed me and made me feel welcome, I knew exactly where I needed to be and who with.

John put time and effort into the event, it was clear to see and even put on a lovely spread for everyone, thank you!

I have shot in many studios and many group shoots over the years but the Woolton Hall event was unique for all the right reasons.

The level of professionalism and organisation that John puts into his events is exceptional. He ensures that the day runs like clockwork and that everyone gets fair and equal time with the models.

From the very start the communication is detailed and informative. No stone is left unturned and so on the day everyone knows what is expected from them and your then left to enjoy the day shooting in the many varied locations.

I usually don’t like group events but this is like no other, by far the best group event I have ever been to and I’ll certainly to friends and I’ll be back very soon for the next event.

John was so organised and professional and was welcoming to the noobs like me. He makes sure everyone is busy when they want to be, can have a chill if they need to, are fed and watered and are generally comfortable.

I would definitely like to attend more of his events.

I had a fantastic day, and I'm so grateful to John for putting it together.

Attended the Woolton Hall event organised by John on Saturday the 1st of September. The whole event ran like a Swiss clock and John was a superb host, ensuring everybody had everything that they needed. I can only imagine the planning that goes into an event such as this. He handled it all like a champ....Here's to many more! (P.S He's also a pretty bloody nifty photographer^^^^ :) )

Its only fair that I leave John a reference.

I have booked his studio and found it to be everything I needed and more.

I have also been to many of his organised events I have always found them to be a great success. To be fair I probably should have left John at least 6 good referenced by now. Keep putting great events on and I will keep coming :)

Attended my second Woolton Hall event organised by John

Pre comms were great, I felt I knew exactly where I was going and what to expect before the first event. Was slightly nervous before attending but felt welcomed from the start

Organised with military precision! But also flexibility to get the images you wanted

Good supply of snacks, and tea (thank you, I live off the stuff!)

The most recent shoot flew by, I could have stayed much longer, and a great mix of photographers and models not to forget the patient MUAs

Will recommend and attend again, thank you

An absolute pleasure to attend another Woolton Hall event organised by John. Clearly he has a flair for this. Everything managed with aplomb, provisions for food and drink also taken care of. Co-ordinating the various teams (Models, Photograhers and MUA) right down to a group shoot at the end without missing a beat. And that’s just the stuff you see. Behind the scenes so much more both before an after the the even and all this on top of his day job as photographer – clearly this man has abilites that extend beyond the camera. Perhaps the most recommended person I have had the pleasure to with here! Thanks John

I attended my first Woolton Hall networking event organised by John and what an amazing event he puts on.

Firstly his pre-comms are impeccable. You are keept fully informed of what is happening, how to get there, what to do when you get there. It assuages any worry you may have.

And secondly once there you are welcomed by him and shown the ropes, where everything is, how the day works and funtions. Plus teas, coffees and snacks aplenty.

The simplest way to end this reference is this: I am going back next month without a shadow of a doubt. That should tell you everything. Attend one of these events immediately!

Ok... You could say I have been a few times to this event... Basically the venue is amazing. The models are amazing, The MUa's are amazing. I hope this event runs and runs... We are always learning as photographers. This event allows you to learn and progress in photography. It a fun day with fun people.. Run really professional in a relaxed way by John... If you haven't been yet. You seriously need to.. Totally recommend...

First of all i would like to thank you John for this fantastic networking event in Woolton Hall. It was my first time there and you were very helpfuln by replying and answering any question i have had. Everything was great, very good organised, with teas, coffees and snacks.

I was worried at the beginning but with your kind personality, you welcomed me, and i felt more relaxed.

I had an amazing day, i met new people and very professional all of them.

I would deffinatly attend thiw event again.

I went to Woolton Hall networking event that John organised. Prior to the event communication with John was excellent.

I'd attended a studio day in December in his studio and so know how helpful he is. I've been shooting in the studio for a bit now, but this was my first location shoot . He organised things for me prior to the day , due to personal circumstances (disability) I was particularly conscious there could be various issues that arose for me but this turned out not to be the case as it was all worked out with John in advance.

As for the actual shoots , it was all really well organised . Great venue and I got the chance to work with a number of models. There was also numerous outfits and Mua's at the event.

Great event & hope to do one again soon.
