Hi! Thank you very much for visiting my page.

My name is John Ayliffe. I am a full time photographer based in Liverpool.

Photography caught my attention from an early age, and it has stayed with me in some form or another ever since.  I've done band photography (live gigs and promotional), stock photography, street photography and now I mainly concentrate on creative fashion, fine art photography and portraiture. My love of photography comes first and foremost from the image, the picture that is created. I love captivating images, and love being involved in the process of creating amazing pictures; the more creative, weird, wonderful and interesting, the better!

MY WORK
---------

The majority of work I do now is paid. This consists of model portfolio updates, actors' head shots, portraiture and magazine editorial shoots.
However I am always looking for exciting TFP opportunities as well, that I think will benifit my portfolio. So please get in contact if you have any creative ideas, and are looking to create something different and interesting for your portfolio.

TFP DETAILS:

From a TF shoot I aim to supply between 8 - 10 fully professionally edited pictures. I like to give TFP work just as much editing time as paid work, and due to paid work having to take priority, TPF editing time can take a little longer, images will be sent out anywhere between 3 - 6 weeks.
I never give out unedited images, and I choose which images I'm going to be working on.
As I'm shooting, I will allow the model to see the back of the camera, and will take on-board any feedback given, or any adjustments that are needed to get the right shot.
I'm also very happy to work on any ideas that the model has; the more creative, the better......
All in all, my shoots are very relaxed, informal, and fun. I take the model's safety and comfort very seriously, and I will never ask a model to do anything that I wouldn't do myself.
