It was great to get to libre studios, and attend the last event of this year, John does a great job of getting everyone sorted, and it works like clockwork. It was a pity, that my camera broke near the end 😢 Highly recommend attending one of these great days 100%

I’ve been going to John’s events for well over a year now and and I confess I get a little buzz of adrenalin when John emails with the next date because I LOVE the days so much. I turned up tentatively for the first one Halloween and a year ago because I didn’t know what to expect but I left 8 hours late with a smile on my face and looking forward to starting the edit.

The day usually starts with dropping kit and wardrobe at the studio then a 2 minute drive to safe, cheap and easy parking for the day near the Witches hat Cathedral in the centre of Liverpool. Over the next half hour then various models and photographers turn up and its nice to meet lots of new and familiar faces at these events. The kettle is always on and John lays on snacks and pizzas through the day to keep us all well fuelled up. When everyone has arrived then John divvies us up into pairs of 1 photographer and 1 model then alocates us a studio spot or we head out into the location rich area on foot. Everyone gets to shoot with everyone and 45 minutes shoot time goes by in the blink of an eye.

John is thee perfect host and a blurr of motion as he brings the day forward to a huge success for everyone involved. Nothing is too much trouble and if you can think of a set or a situation to shoot then its more than likely that John can make it work. I’ve stopped bringing wardrobe to John’s events now as his prop and wardrobe department is an ever evolving treasure trove of gorgeousness. You could dress model after model day after day with no repeat of outfits.

John always has a mix of attendees at the events with the very experienced and the new to the industry folk. The common quality is that of friendliness, helpfulness, creativity. Not once at Libre have I met any drama queens or bad apples. All in all a great day had by everyone and we all go home exhausted, happy and looking forward to the next event.

I attended John's networking event for the first time in a few years today, and I'm so glad that I did.

Just like the Woolton Hall days, everything was organised brilliantly, and everyone had an opportunity to shoot with each other.

I mainly shot on the streets of Liverpool in various outfits, and I thoroughly loved the atmosphere, not to mention beating the odds with the weather!

I highly recommend John's networking events if you want an opportunity to work with multiple creative models, in a studio with various backdrops, lighting and outfits, in a very well organised manner!

I attended my 1st networking event at Libre Studios. Pre comms were perfect and I was very grateful for the excellent detailed directions. I received a lovely warm welcome from John, who was super organised and ensured the day flowed perfect.

My first network shoot at John's studio in Liverpool this year. John managed to get some great models for us togs to work with. John was brilliant, at organizing everyone, and helping to build sets ect. 7 hrs just flew by. Hopefully i am free for the next one.

If you are new to shooting with models, or you just want to update your skills and try something new, this event is for you . 100% recommend

First time I've been to john’s studio for his networking event and certainly won't be the last. John made me feel welcome from moment I arrived and he passed the cup of tea test! So i knew it would be a great event! He introduced me to every photographer I was working with while sorting out studio lighting , wardrobe malfunctions and everything else in between while remaining extremely professional and making everything run like clockwork. Certainly won't be my last visit to the studio

I modelled at John’s studio collab day on Saturday, John was very professional and the studio spaces were very equipped for photographers to make the most of their time there.

i attended my first network shoot with John this year. John as always puts 150% into making this event a success, and he delivers every time. John was really help ful around the studio, and helped me on loads of occasions with moving all my gear in and out of the building. The models where fab, and everything ran like clockwork. Using the studio and the surrounding area, helps to build your confidence, scouting and using locations to work with your models.

Attended my second of Johns model network events and as before was a great success, fab networking with new and old faces, models and photographers.

John puts great effort into organising these events and is on board to deal with any changes to schedules needed in real time as well as is the perfect studio host, providing help and assistance where requested and providing the obligatory sandwiches and coffee. Thanks john, a great event and have come away with some fantastic images

I attended one of John's social shoots at his Libre Studios and it was a great success and a lot of fun.

I'd been trying to attend one of these events for a while and so this was finally my first one. It was fab to get to look round the studio, meet lots of new folk and explore the local area which is full of interesting places.

John was the perfect host ensuring everyone was looked after as he gallantly kept the shoot rota updated. A great event and highly recommended to shoot at Libre.

This is the 2nd time I have attended this event. Having been a regular to Woolton Hall I knew what to expect. John's Studio is fully equiped and then some. John is also a great host and always ready to help with lights and backdrops. Plus he has great ideas to help with a shoot. Recommend 100%

This is my second time attending one of John’s networking events, this time at his studio. Just like last time I’ve came away looking forward to the next one I can attend! John is such a lovely and sound guy and goes out of his way to make sure each model gets to shoot with as many togs as possible in the day session.

He absolutely saved the day with giving us pizza too, gave me that extra little push I needed to get through the day. Until next time my friend!

I have worked with John a few times through Woolton hall shoots and hired his studio but this was the first time doing a shoot for him as a model.

As always he is polite, puts you at ease straight away and has a great eye!

These are honestly the best I have ever looked in pictures and its thanks to him! cannot thank him enough for the pictures, I received 6 very beautiful and high quality edits.

I would definitely recommend John as a photographer, studio owner and events organiser.

Had a great day in the Woolton hall network event organised by John again. His events in the Woolton hall or his studio are always fantastic and well organised.

He is very friendly and helpful during the event. You could meet many new or experienced models and photographers in his events.
