I got to work with Joana on a second shoot for book covers. Pre coms were amazing again, even knew which train I needed to get on with Joana waiting the other end for me! Joana came so well prepared yet again, bringing lots of outfits and accessories / props that fitted the theme perfectly. Ive never met such a well prepared photographer!

The shoot was so easy and fun the time just flew by. Joana was super fun and always chatting away making you feel at ease and comes up with great ideas for shots in which she directs you for posing perfectly.

I definitely recommend working with Joana!

I got to work with Joana today and she was just great. Pre coms were amazing, I knew exactly what I needed to bring and what was expected of me. Joana brought amazing outfits, one especially made for the shoot which was absolutely gorgeous! She was barely standing on the shoot... always laying, kneeling and crouching to get the perfect shot and gave great direction. I loved working with Joana, she is very professional and reliable and I would definitely recommend.

Joana is a professional and it shows! She could easily get great results with new models or members of the public because she knows what works. Communications were excellent, a document explaining the appropriate preparation was sent before the shoot and Joana briefed me further in the car on the way to ensure I understood what was required. She had bought all the outfits and props and researched the location. She is so adept at shooting that she can notice all the little details and direct the model at the same time. She had invited two members of her photography group to attend the shoot and they were lovely. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and respectful to me, it was a really positive, professional environment in which to work, and we had a giggle too. Producing romantic imagery in a stunning natural setting for book covers was so enjoyable..I love images which can tell a story.

Joana has already sent me images and they are beautiful. Thank you so much, this was an absolute first class experience!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of modelling for Joana and what a wonderful experience it was!

Joana was a pleasure to work with!! Great with direction and was very friendly, which made me comfortable straight away. She showed me some shots she took as we went along, which helped me out with certain poses, and the positions she gave me were very inventive.

We played with props and reflections in the pond nearby, and she wasn't afraid to get in the mud and wet to get the right shot.

I highly recommend Joana and really hope I get the pleasure of working with her again!

An eventful and challenging shoot,but only in the best way possible. Joana made me feel at ease straight away, was clear with direction and a delight to work with. Nor was she afraid to get down and dirty to position the camera for the desired shoot.

I really enjoyed shooting with Joana in The New Forest for some images intended as book covers.

She has really great taste, and I felt that we were definitely on the same page in terms of what would work well for this kind of photography. Posing for book covers is quite different from other sorts of modelling, and Joana knows exactly what she wants, being so experienced.

It's a pleasure to be involved with such storytelling images, where hints at narratives and simple props in beautiful locations make very powerful photographs.

I'm looking forward to the next shoot! :-)
