I worked with John and his lovely friend Rob Harley at the fantastic Kempston Studio the other day and had such a wonderful time! It was my first time working with John so I am always a little nervous (even after all of these years of modelling!) but needn't have been as John was so kind, respectful and professional to work with. He had excellent comms prior to the shoot, fantastic ideas and gave great direction.

I loved working with the antique camera on the day (!) which was a most excellent prop and great fun!

John and Rob were a joy to work with and made the shoot interactive, creative and fun with a variety of sets and wardrobe over the course of the two hour photoshoot. They worked brilliantly as a team and really complimented one another.

I would love to work together again and can highly recommend to all. Thankyou so much and hope to catch up later in the year! :) Helen x

Big Shot Studio

John is becoming quite a regular at the studio and he was here again to shoot with the lovely Carla Monaco. John always comes up to the studio with his own shoot ideas and presents them in a drawing format so it is clear and easy for the model to understand what he wants to achieve. He always brings with him a wide array of different props he wants to use. John is professional and respectful with the models he shoots here and comes away with some really lovely images.

I would have no hesitation in recommending John, he is a lovely guy who has some great shoot ideas and is very pleasant to be around.

John and Rob Harley booked me together at Big Shot Studio on Sunday and alternated the time shooting for half an hour each and then swapping over to cover the 2 hours in total. They both came very organised with clear ideas of what they wanted to try, including reference images and props, and were both very polite and respectful of my comfort and what I was happy to shoot. They both came across as very decent, lovely people with enthusiasm for creating interesting and striking images. I'd happily work with them both again!

Big Shot Studio

John attended one of our studio days to shoot with the lovely Aurora. I found John to be a really pleasant guy who was very friendly. He has an obvious passion for his photography and worked really well with the model. He was professional at all times during his shoot and was respectful of the model and the studio environment.

John managed to get some lovely shots and was able to work in the studio with unassisted, he is very familiar with studio lighting and he is ovbviously a very good photographer. Just look at some of the great images on his port here. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to other studios and models and he is certainly welcome back here anytime. It was lovely to meet you John.

I had another shoot with John and his fellow photographer friends at HHPS last month. I really enjoy working with this group and jumped at the opportunity to fill in for another model who was unable to attend. John is very creative and always has lots of ideas and poses that he would like to try. He is a true gentleman and an absolute joy to work with. Highly recommended! x

I worked with John earlier this month during a three hour group shoot in Hemel Hempstead.

I had been very poorly the night before and had a five hour drive up to Hemel from Torquay...but we all managed to make it work and had a super three hours shooting lots of art nude images.

John had loads of ideas to shoot during the time and bought along some inspiration images/ drawings for me which was great.

I will hopefully be visiting Hemel Hempstead again one day! Thank you, John.

I've modelled many times at the Hemel Hempstead Camera Club evenings, with John included. Everyone there is always very friendly, grateful and respectful to me, with many of them bringing their own ideas and images they would like to re-create. John always comes with a set of pre-organised ideas, that he shows to you in drawings of the poses he would like, often bringing props for you to work with, and completes them in his own way, using his film cameras. He also sends CD's of the images which is very kind of him.

I'm working for the Hemel Hempstead club night again very soon, and I'm sure it will be lovely, productive and pleasant as always :-)

I was fortunate enough to have a shoot with John during a group session with the Hemel Hempstead Photographic society and it was a lovely session. I was extremely nervous to begin with and took my father along due to my chaperon being busy! They welcomed both of us and our dog Bonzo very nicely and I was put at ease. John is lovely to work with along with the entire society. They were patient and calm and it was a fun and comedic shoot, many laughs involved and I would recommend them and John very highly. Well done x
