What an phenomenal shoot! Very respectful, good pre-comms telling me exactly what he wanted from me. Soft boudior was a new feel for me, but John gave exceptional direction to get the images he wanted. I am absolutely in love with the photos we got, definitely in my top 10 shoots to date. Anyone who gets the chance to shoot with John will not be disappointed. Would definitely shoot with him again given the chance!

I've been wanting to work with John for a long while and grabbed the chance with his latest "pastel boudoir" promotion.

Precomms were great and John advised on the best outfits to bring, he was very understanding when I was unfortunately late due to a traffic accident but we quickly got shooting after he explained his style of shooting and his ideas, he made me feel very comfortable throughout and talked through each set helping with direction and poses when needed.

A thoroughly enjoyable shoot, I would love to work with John again and highly recommend him

I had my second shoot with John, on my own this time. Again, John made me feel very comfortable throughout the shoot and my levels respected.

Pre-comms were great, with the both of us contributing to the mood board. We managed to get all of the shots that we aimed to take in the 4 hours. I was sent a link to the gallery to choose my favourites that same evening and there are some really lovely ones that hit the brief.

100% recommended to models both new and experienced.

I had my first shoot with John with my partner Grant. Grant is still new to modelling, but John made the both of us feel very comfortable throughout the shoot and it was clear from the off that our levels and wishes would always be respected 100%

Pre-comms were excellent, with John knowing exactly what he wanted to achieve (and I have to say he nailed it!) I felt like I already knew him by the time we had our shoot, which really left me feeling prepared and confident about the whole shoot.

John's studio is well equipped and welcoming, it is so much more than your typical home studio set up. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate it. Lovely range of coloured backdrops, furniture and fabrics.

The photos that my partner and I saw on the back of the camera already look stunning, captured our best bits and our love for each other, which is what any real couple hopes for! Given that the images we created were couples boudoir, they remained tasteful throughout and super flattering. We both cannot wait to see the finished images and recommend John 100 per cent.

Another shoot with JBM Photography, and as usual it was so much fun, mega creative, and time just flew by!

John is an absolute gentleman, and a photographer I trust, respect and recommend highly. He will make you feel safe and looked after. You will see the images on a tethered screen, which helps making changes in set up/poses/outfits if needed.

I can’t quite remember how many shoots we have had now, but I certainly hope it won’t be the last! :)

My second time working with John in his lovely home studio!!

We had already done the 'bridal boudoir' … Now it was time for the 'Honeymoon period!!'

We spent a lot of the shoot getting creative with the lighting, playing with different angles and shapes. John has a great eye for detail and small movements which make SUCH a difference in the final edit.

John is always kind, considerate and encouraging throughout the shoot.

Oh … I have to say, this man takes an EPIC bum shot!!!

Cannot wait to see the finished photos!!

Had my first shoot with John today, and, honestly, 4 hours was not enough!!!!

I messaged John after seeing his work and on reccomendation from a fellow model. John replied promptly with a theme in mind of 'Bridal Boudoir'. I leapt at the opportunity as I loved the concept!!

Pre comms where fab, John sent plenty of ideas my way and encouraged me to give my own too.

Shoot day was brilliant!! John is friendly, approachable and very respectful. He's an extremely talented photographer with a great eye for detail, spending time to get 'the shot!!'. He was very encouraging, making sure I was comfortable at all times.

The photos on the back of the camera looked incredible and I cannot wait to see them on the big screen!!

I will definitely be back to shoot with John again soon, and, I'd definitely recommend him to anyone!!! 😍 🤩

What a lovely guy! The group shoot arranged by Lady Molly at the deliciously stunning South House Retreat in Dorset proved a great backdrop to work with this photographer. Though a fairly short but sweet time spent together it was real fun. I would highly recommend and hope to work together again sometime.

Not only did John show up, we traveled together to group shoot event at South House Retreat which we both attended.

My third shoot with John as always he was professional, focussed and came fully prepared, having packed half his studio into the car! He is a true gentleman and will make you feel safe, well looked after and his work is always stunning, just looking at the back of camera shots it was clear that he had captured beautiful images - can't wait to see the edits!

I can't recommend John highly enough to anyone! Looking forward to a fourth shoot? ;)

I had the great pleasure to again work with John for the second time, and we had an absolute blast! John wanted to do some test shots for two new concepts of his and I am glad he asked me to come along - still buzzing now!

John is a true gentleman who is respectful and polite, invites your opinion and ideas and pays such attention to detail - even back of camera the images already look amazing. Working with John is effortless and time flies, and thanks to his great sense of humour we had such fun - lots of laughter and conversation.

John has an amazing studio which offers you so many background and lighting set ups you will be spoilt for choice, and he will go out of his way to make sure he has a good variety of quality images.

If you get the chance to shoot with John - you really won't regret it!

After coming up with an idea for a specific shot in low light I wanted on my portfolio I knew immediately that John was the man to do the shoot. Having previously worked with John I know he can always be trusted to be a complete professional, total gentleman and accomplished artist of light. After several weeks of communication back and forth we came up with a shoot list of images I adored. John was wonderful on the day and my nerves quickly faded away and he again demonstrated his impeccable taste for poses and lighting, allowing me to pose freely but offering suggestions and improvement points to get the absolute best shots. The edits are breathtaking and by far exceeded all my expectations. A really enjoyable experience, a really good cup of coffee and a stunning studio. John and his studio are the complete package. Highly recommended to all.

After a couple of months of arranging we finally got together to do a shoot. John is a lovely warm and friendly guy with a good sense of humour. He has an amazing eye for detail and certainly knows his stuff. His studio is amazing and very well equipped including a little changing area. I would highly recommend john and feel very privelidged to have worked with him and hope to do so again.....him being on my doorstep is a massive bonus.

Had an amazing shoot in the studio with John yesterday. I've been working with him for a little while now as an mua and it's always a pleasure. Such a relaxed environment and he is very professional. This was my second shoot with John, this time at his studio. I was taken a back by the amazing set up of the purpose built space. Lighting and back drops to rival most studios I've seen. A beautiful boudoir set up with props and a lovely changing area. The welcome was warm and as before John ensured my comfort was key during our shoot. The photos are wonderful, in fact I cried when I saw them because I was so happy. Will definitely be working with John again and highly recommend all models book a session with him. You will not be disappointed!

Had the absolute pleasure of working with John at a group shoot at the Art Asylum. Pre-shoot communication was wonderful and we talked through ideas for our back swan inspired shoot. John brought some items of clothing for me to wear and props in addition to my own. He was a complete professional but equally laid back and put me at ease immediately. Our time together flew by and we already have another shoot booked which I cant wait for!
