John came along to shoot me at delightful little apartment I was lucky enough to utilise in the centre of Nottingham for a couple of nights just before Christmas. It worked out perfect as he was my first shoot of the trip so we were able to crack on quite soon after check-in time: John came very well equipped with lighting and gear to create a variety of beautiful/glamorous images and we also did a spot of video which worked really well too! :D

The biggest challenge you face with locations similar to the one we had was that you never quite know what sets/space and available light you're going to get so it's very much a case of playing it by ear and facing all the challenges when you get there. John did this tremendously well and we were off to a wonderfully productive start from the word go really. :) It didn't take him long at all to build a lighting set up which gave a beautiful look to the images no matter what angle... he is happy for a model to go about her usual range of poses and suggest outfits/ideas as he knows/is experienced with the fact that each model will know what outfits work with their figures etc. and look best with the mood of the setting. It's nice to get that element of teamwork but John will also take the opportunity to direct at times when he feels a shape or look is working as he will take his time to nail the composition. As we went through the images on the back of the camera during tea-breaks etc. it was clear that the session was cooking on gas! It's really easy to click with John; he knows exactly what he is looking for in a set which gives you good foundations to work with but we had plenty of creative inspiration and freedom to be innovate as well. I particularly loved the shower set we did and John nailed that one as we quite possibly had the most challenging lighting/tile reflections going on but with a bit of technical perseverance it was another set in the bag in a half-day shoot session which seemed to really fly by! :D

All in all, I would really recommend John to other models for certain. He shoots with a variation of models and it's clear to see from his other references too that he is always very down to earth, laid back and approaches each shoot with utmost professionalism and respect for the people he is working with. I felt totally comfortable working with John and we had no end of laughs from start to finish as well... we probably chatted about all sorts of random things mid-shoot that it's a miracle we got so much done! :D It must have been that productive rapport, either that or we both champion multitaskers! Lovely chap without a shadow of a doubt and I very much look forward to working with him again.

We had a first shoot with John on Sunday and won't be the last one. Communication was excellent, John exactly knew what he wanted to shoot, really specific and professional. Moreover, John is such a funny guy, I couldn't stop laughing sometimes that's why we shot for so many hours probably ( haha).

I would definitely like to work with John again soon as we did a great job together and working with him is just fun. I do recommend him ! :)

Where do I start with this man had a amazing time with this man any model would be lucky to shoot with him was very lovely even brought me food and I love my food so in my good books haha!!

Would recommend this man very much amazing man to work with a good soul, models if you don't work with this man your missing out. Thank you so much for a great shoot Hun can't wait to start working with your again and see the pictures

I had the pleasure of meeting John whilst at Jaw Studio's for my shoot with Sparx. He was friendly and helpful and very well-mannered. The studio was immaculate, and very well equipped with a wide selection of props/accessories. I'd love to shoot at Jaw Studio's again and I'm sure I will do very soon

Used Jaw Imaging for the first - but not last - time today. John could not have been any more helpful, although he was in the middle of refurbishing and modernising the studio he spent time making the studio usable for us last night and this morning, and helped set it and the lighting up when we arrived today. The studio has various backgrounds, chairs / stools, chaise longe, a leather Chesterfield settee and armchair, and other props.

John was on hand to help but not intrusive, and was a very pleasant chap, we had a great chat talking about our backgrounds and realised we had a fair bit in common!

Rates are very reasonable and I can wholeheartedly recommend Jaw Imaging for a relaxed and easy shoot.

Shot at Jaw imaging with John for the first time yesterday. He was welcoming and attentive. Great little studio, good choice of backgrounds, and from speaking to John I hear exciting things on the horizon for the venue. Recommended and have already booked for second shoot.

I have worked with John at his studio Jaw Imaging last weekend on my trip up country. He is a lovely person and a very good photographer. The studio is well equipped with different props and lights.
